My Son Might Be A Villain

Chapter 241: "It's time for bed." (1)

Su Han missed the minorly surprised look that had crossed her son’s face and bought into what Lu Shao had told her.

She then saw Lu Shao gave Su Han a resentful glance and said to her, “He fussed about tagging along so I brought him with.”

Su Han’s eyes widened all of a sudden when he heard that.

What a shameless man! When did he fuss about wanting to tag along?

Even if he was to fuss about wanting to come, he would not have fussed to Lu Shao!

Not that he had the chance to clear himself under his current situation.

Lu Shao, watching the boy with so much he wanted to say but couldn’t, curved his lips slightly before turning and giving Su Ran a tender look.

“Thank you for bringing him with.” Su Ran smiled at Lu Shao as she thanked him.

Then, turning to look at Su Han, she put on a “stern” look.

“Classmate Su Han, did you bring with you all your holiday homework assignments? And all of your textbooks?” asked Su Ran.

She felt that she should no longer be that tender mother. She now needed to be a stern mother.

She had, under no uncertain terms, told him that he was no allowed to come but he came anyway!

Nevertheless, Su Ran was very happy when she saw her son.

Su Han was taken aback a little when he heard Su Ran’s question. The holidays were not starting officially till day after tomorrow. Of course he would not have his holiday homework assignments to bring with him.

“Mmm, yes. Yes, I have them,” said Su Han in a low voice as he diverted his eyes.

“Are you sure? You didn’t leave any subject behind?” asked Su Ran again, worried.

“Yes, I am sure,” said Su Han sounding much more convincing this time. Nevertheless, there was still a hint of awkwardness in his tone.

“I am going to read the notifications in the parent’s chat group when I free up”

Su Han, “!”

Su Ran did not notice the stiffness that flashed through Su Han’s face but Lu Shao missed not any of it. Looking over at Su Han, Lu Shao’s lips curved a little and he made no effort in hiding the contempt in his look.

Catching the look in the man’s eyes, Su Han gritted his teeth and stared back at him.

That old man. Did he think that everyone was as shameless as him and could lie without even blinking his eyes?!

Su Han suddenly felt that he shall not let the woman in his house get too close to this man.

A man like that was probably the scum of all scums. And Su Ran was so gullible at that.

“Okay, you must work on your homework assignments on a regular basis during your stay here, okay?” Su Ran requested solemnly, completely oblivious to the exchange between the father and son.

“Oh, alright.” Su Han nodded after he had recollected himself. He could always ask Du WenTao to send the homework assignments over to him over WeChat tomorrow.

Hearing “during your stay” coming from Su Ran, the corners of Su Han’s lips rose up.

A few others walked out of the building at this time. Noticing Su Ran, they greeted her.

These were all judges at the competition. Seeing that they seemed to want to talk to her about something, Su Ran said to the father and son, “Wait for me,” before she walked over to the others.

“I thought you would be long gone by now but you are still here.” One of them said to Su Ran with a smile. Su Ran was likely the candidate with the most potential, no, the strongest, among all of the candidates.

They had no idea why such a talented musician was unheard up until now but, they had an idea that, after this competition, and other international competitions in the future, Su Ran would most likely become one of the top pianists.

“Did you family come to cheer you on?” teased the judges as they looked at the two persons looking at their direction from not too far away and nodded as them as a form of greeting.

“Oh, yeah.” Su Han was for sure family. As for Lu Shao, the non-family, she wasn’t going to dive into that.
