My Son Might Be A Villain

Chapter 240: "The school let out a day early," said Lu Shao. (2)

Inside the car, Su Han couldn't help but pulled out his cellphone and searched for the flight time from City B to City N.

Lu Shao, catching that out of the corner of his eye, said nonchalantly to him, “It’s a dedicated flight. Much faster than what the search result said.”

Su Han finger paused in midair.

“Tsk. What’s the big deal about it…” Su Han grumbled as though he couldn’t care less about it.

Lu Shao was not upset by that. He did, however, informed Su Han of their arrival time.

“That means we are going to miss my mom’s competition?” said Su Han, frowning.

He received a cold look from Lu Shao. “Well, whose fault was that?”

Su Han, “… …”

At the same time, Su Ran was, indeed, in the middle of her competition over in City N.

She drew “pleasure” to be the theme of the piece that she has to perform.

Pleasure, happiness and cheery. Many pieces would work for that and there were plenty of them that Su Ran could just perform immediately.

That being said, when she stepped onto the stage, she suddenly recalled scenes after scenes of the interactions between her son and herself and a beautiful smile appeared on her.

Her fingers danced over the keys on the piano and a light-hearted melody knocked on others’ hearts like a babbling creek.

This was the first time this piece was performed. There were no sheets, no composing, but was so complete, like a beautifully told story.

When she finished with her performance, there was thunderous applause.

Su Ran successfully moved onto the next round after today’s competition.

Li Yan didn’t need to be there today as all of the judges were of professional level.

After engaging with a few judges afterward, Su Ran walked out of the building by herself.

As soon as she walked out, she saw, standing in front of a fountain not too far away from her, two persons standing there perfectly straight.

One of them was taller than the other and, standing side by side, even the way that they were standing resembled the other person. The two of them looked like two statues over there.

Su Ran only looked closer because she found that interesting. When she walked closer and under the street lights, she finally noticed the familiar faces and her eyes widened all of a sudden.

Su Han!

And… Lu Shao?!

How could this be?

Su Ran was just wondering if she was hallucination from missing her son too much when she noticed the two persons started walking toward her, neither one of them want to fall behind the others.

“You! The two of you!”

If she was mistaken earlier then, now, with both the man and the big boy standing in front of her, there were no chance it was a mistake on her part.

“Did it go well?”

“Did you win?”

Su Han and Lu Shao started almost at the same time. Then, the two of them exchanged a look and there was resentment in both of their eyes.

“Of course!” said Su Ran with a big smile. She was just about to share about her spontaneous piece with her son.

“Wait a minute!” When she came to and asked with surprise. “Why are you two here?”

Su Ran looked over at Lu Shao first.

“I have a project in City N so I thought I’d swing by and say hi,” said Lu Shao in the most sincere tone as he looked over at Su Ran.

Bull!

Su Han rolled his eyes at Lu Shao subtly.

Su Ran, on the other hand, nodded.

Made sense. He has such a big common. It only made sense that he has projects in City N, right?

She then looked over at Su Han. “What about you then? How come you are here? I remember you have classes through tomorrow.”

Su Ran’s look became sterner when on the subject of school work.

Su Han didn’t immediately have an answer for Su Ran’s question.

Lu Shao, next to him, gave him a nonchalant look and said in a serious tone, “Taking the heavy commute during the holidays into consideration, the school decided to let out a day early.”
