My Son Might Be A Villain

“Who did you think was going to be?” said the housemaster of the Lu’s as he narrowed his eyes and looked over at the young man next to Su Ran.

Su Han: Anyone other than you!

Recollecting himself from the initial shock, Su Han reflexively took a step forward and stood in between Su Ran and Lu Shao.

“Why are you here?” asked Su Han through gritted teeth as he stared straight at Lu Shao. His eyes were filled with alarm and discontent.

Lu Shao, looked at Su Han’s all-out alarm like a hedgehog with it’s spines standing straight up, snickered.

“Why do you think I am here?”

To recognize you?

Lu Shao said as he looked sarcastically over at Su Han. There seemed to be a shred of… complacency in his eyes?

“Wait!” Su Ran, finally recovered from feeling dumbfounded, widened her eyes, then looked from Lu Shao to her son.

“You two know each other?” asked Su Ran, in shock. What did she miss?

“Sort of.”

“No!”

The father and son responded more or less at the same time. Of course, the first one was from Lu Shao and the next from Su Han.

So, they did know each other.

Judging from the look on her son, Su Ran felt that she no longer needed to confirm anything else.

Suddenly, Su Ran’s eyes beamed. She turned to Su Han and asked, “So, you already know that he’s your birth father?”

“Father?” Su Han acted like he had heard nothing but a big joke. Looking at Lu Shao coldly, he said, “He’s not good enough to be my father.”

One sentence from Su Han and the not-so-peaceful atmosphere froze all of a sudden. Even the temperature seemed to have dropped by a few degrees from Lu Shao’s long face.

Lu Shao’s eyes deepened and a look of sternness flashed passed them. His hands, resting next to his body, tightened slightly.

Using almost all of his self-control from his thirty some odds years of life, he finally stopped himself from teaching this kid a lesson right then and there.

Except that, Lu Shao’s look in and of itself radiated pressure.

As calm as Su Han was, he was still just a 12~13-year-old child. When confronted by someone who had been in high places for years, he was, after all, in a weaker position.

Even so, he was lost focus for a brief second before he stared back at him not wanting to show any signs of weakness.

Standing on the sideline, Su Ran suddenly felt that it wasn’t easy just being a passerby. She, too, was nervous for her son when watching this “warfare” unfold.

She thought to herself: Oh, son, he is your birth father. This is not a matter of whether he is good enough or not, okay?

Su Ran had never noticed this previously when she was only around one of them at a time. When the two of them were standing side by side, they resembled each other a lot!

Especially when the two of them were staring at each other.

If the mood wasn’t so awkward, Su Ran would very much like to pull out her camera and take a picture right now.

“Ahem, Mr. Lu.” Su Ran cleared her throat and gave Lu Shao a meaningful look.

What she was trying to say with her eyes was: Em, Mr. Lu, this is, after all, my son. I don’t think it’s quite appropriate for you to stare at my son like that right in front of me.

Reading Su Ran’s message from her eyes, Lu Shao seemed to have noticed that as well and quickly reined in his look.

The look that he gave Su Han, though, still wasn’t all that great.

“I’m not good enough? Name someone who is good enough then?”

“Anyone is fine. As long as he isn’t you!” Su Han acted like a lion cub that had been enraged. He stared at Lu Shao angrily.

“You are but a scum who had wronged my mom. How are you able to stand here and tell me that you are good enough? This woman must be blind to think that you are a nice guy and being fooled by you over and over again!”

She fell for him in the past and now she fell for him again. How was this woman so stupid!

“You didn’t want to be with her back then so why are you back now? Was it fun crawling back like a groveling dog?”
