"Okay~~"

Veia left them both alone with themselves. But just as Rant Valo was about to speak to Floriana Sabina, Veia's head popped out from the door.

"Master, you can come to my room later if you want."

There was a playful smile on her face. And suddenly, a fan appeared in Floriana Sabina's hand, and she brought it down to Veia's face.

"Awu! Grandmaster is still so mean."

Veia closed the door reluctantly as she rubbed her nose in pain.

Both Floriana Sabina and Rant Valo observed the door. Only when a few minutes had passed were they sure that Veia had already left.

Rant Valo walked towards the bed and flopped his body on it.

"Ahhh! So soft…"

This would be Rant Valo's first time sleeping in a bed as soft as this one. In the village, he would only be able to sleep on a hard wooden bed.

"I'll take this side."

Floriana Sabina sat on the left side of the bed. The right side would be Rant Valo's for the night.

"Zzzzz…"

Floriana Sabina waited for his reply, but when she looked at him, he was already asleep. She lifted her small hand slowly and moved it towards Rant Valo's head. Her hand stopped midway before it slowly landed on Rant Valo's forehead.

"Good disciple."

Floriana Sabina ruffled Rant Valo's hair as he slept on his stomach. There was a satisfied smile on her face. This disciple of hers never disappointed her.

Floriana Sabina pulled her hand back and sat on the bed cross-legged. She cultivated silently while Rant Valo slept soundly.

The next day, Rant Valo woke up. He glanced at the window and saw that the sun's rays were already flowing inside.

"It's morning already? It didn't feel like I slept for long…"

Rant Valo rubbed his eyes groggily. Sleeping on a soft bed made him want to sleep more.

"Good morning, Disciple."

Floriana Sabina opened her eyes and greeted Rant Valo with a smile on her face.

"Good morning, Master Floriana."

It was a good feeling to wake up, and someone would be there to greet you. Rant Valo could not believe it sometimes that this was his life from now on. It was like the difference between heaven and earth compared to how he was treated back in his village.

"Mm. Let's go, but first, mmmmMM-!"

Floriana Sabina nodded her head before yawning and stretching her arms. After a long night of cultivation, her blood vessels needed to be agitated.

Rant Valo hopped down from the bed and stood up. He looked outside the window and saw many people moving from left to right and vice-versa. It was somewhat similar to how it was back in the village, but there were even more people.

Floriana Sabina and Rant Valo left the room and went towards Veia's room. Rant Valo used his knuckles to knock on the door.

A few seconds later, an energetic Veia greeted them.

"Good morning, Master!"

Veia shouted with excitement. Seeing her master first thing in the morning was very nice. She kind of felt like they were married.

"Good morning, Veia."

Rant Valo had a good sleep, so he was in an excellent mood today. He greeted Veia with the sweetest and brightest smile that Veia has ever seen.

"Waa! Master, you're so handsome."

Veia exclaimed in excitement. She was just like a maiden who has seen her crush.

"Thanks."

Rant Valo didn't know how to respond to that, so he could only thank her with a wry smile on his face. Being called handsome was really embarrassing, especially when it came from a beautiful woman like Veia.

"Master, why didn't you come last night? I was waiting…"

Veia spoke to Rant Valo with a downcast face. She was expectant that her master would come and sneak into her room, but he didn't. In the end, she fell asleep due to boredom.

"I just dropped on the bed, and the next thing I knew, it was morning."

Rant Valo explained to her. Even though he didn't really plan to go to her room, he could only appease her.

"I see… That's a bummer then."

Veia sighed in defeat. If her master fell asleep, then there's nothing she could do.

"Come on. Let's go. That kid must've been waiting for us."

Floriana Sabina reminded them as she urged them to go.

"Alright."

Rant Valo nodded his head, and they all headed towards the Guest Lounge because that's the only other place they had been to inside this mansion.

The moment they arrived, Nale Narene and his mother was already waiting for them. To their surprise, the damage to the room has already been repaired. It's just that there were fewer decorations than before.

"Rant, My mother and I are ready."

Nale Narene stood up from his chair and informed him.

"Aren't you transferring ownership?"

Rant Valo asked in confusion. Although he was a villager through and through, he could still guess that there were procedures to be done before someone could transfer their ownership of the town.

"I already sent the governing city of this town a letter about the transfer. They would be the ones to handle it. We can leave now."

The Governing City of this town is a city that handles the towns around it. This includes Narene Town and many other towns similar to it. They are in charge of collecting the taxes and passing down laws to the region.

"Okay."

Rant Valo nodded his head, and they all left the mansion together. The guards weren't aware that this would be the last time they would be able to see Nale Narene and his mother until a couple of years later. Nale Narene didn't want to inform them as they didn't know what could happen.

The Lohuns and Jernas might decide to take Nale Narene's head so that they could be sure of the ownership of this town.

Rant Valo's group rode in a carriage leading to the west gate of the town. When they reached the gate, everyone departed except for Nale Narene's mother. She was gonna use the carriage to travel back to her hometown.

"See you in a couple of years, Mother!"

Nale Narene bade farewell with a small tear in his eye, and Viynia Narene waved her hand from the window of the carriage in goodbye.

Now, it was only Rant Valo, Floriana Sabina, Veia, and Nale Narene.
