My Master Is A Tsundere

"Done."

Rant Valo moved away after placing most of the yellowberries in neat rows on the rectangular woven rattan. Floriana Sabina stepped forward and she did the same motions she did before. The rectangular woven rattan rose into the air and a small red snake escaped from Floriana Sabina's palm.

The snake swirled and the yellowberries were dried. A few hours later, Rant Valo stopped Floriana Sabina. He became worried that it would become as hard as rocks again.

"Okay, I'll stop."

The fire disappeared into nothing and the woven rattan fell to the ground. The yellowberries were stuck to it so they didn't scatter all over the place.

Rant Valo bent over and grabbed a piece. He placed it inside his mouth and chewed.

"This! This is better."

Rant Valo's face was dazed as he enjoyed the soft and chewy texture of the sweet and tangy dried yellowberry. This was what he was looking for. Eating that rock-hard dried yellowberry was just an insult to this delicacy.

"Let me try, Disciple."

Floriana Sabina crouched and ate one. Her eyes widened as amazement filled her face.

"You're right!"

She exclaimed while chewing on the dried yellowberry.

"Master… is it really that good?"

Veia looked at the glass jar on her arms and the dried yellowberries that they were eating. She was confused because she thought that this rock-hard dried yellowberry already tastes good. How would that taste any different?

"Try it."

Rant Valo grabbed a dried yellowberry with his fingers and moved it in front of her mouth. Veia's eyes sparkled seeing Rant Valo's gesture and she ate the dried yellowberry. And of course, while licking Rant Valo's fingers in the process.

Rant Valo pulled his hand in reflex. He shivered a little bit as he felt his spine tingle from that.

"W-why did you have to do that?"

Rant Valo asked her as he stuttered.

"Master is delicious! Hehehe."

Veia teased him as she chuckled. She chewed on the dried yellowberry in her mouth and her mouth formed an 'o'. It was like she just had a eureka moment.

"..."

Rant Valo was speechless at her. He looked at his slimy fingers and felt the temptation to lick his own fingers to see if he really tastes that good. But Veia's saliva was on it so he threw the idea out of his head. He instead walked towards the lake to wash it.

"Master, you're right!"

Veia exclaimed as she bent over to get another one. It was kinda addicting eating these soft and chewy dried yellowberries.

"I told you. Hahaha."

Rant Valo laughed brightly. It was a great feeling to prove yourself right.

"Why don't we make more?"

Rant Valo suggested. And so, they spent a whole day drying up all of the yellowberries that they have. It was actually quite a lot and it filled 3 jars full of dried yellowberries.

"I don't think I'll get bored of this as a snack."

Floriana Sabina said as she walked. They were now moving farther and farther from the river as the town was not in that direction.

"Yeah."

Rant Valo nodded his head in agreement. Eating something this delicious; there's no way he would get bored of its taste.

Veia was silent as she munched on one dried yellowberry after another. She already became addicted to it.

"Are we near the town yet?"

Rant Valo looked at Floriana Sabina as he asked. This path that they were taking is different from the conventional one. If they took the mud road it would have taken longer but he would have been able to estimate the distance.

Right now they were still in the middle of a forest, there was no clearing in sight. If Floriana Sabina wasn't here then Rant Valo wouldn't have the guts to even do this.

"We're about two-thirds of the way, Disciple."

Rant Valo felt relieved after hearing that. It shouldn't take a few more days to reach the town at this rate.

"Veia, don't you want to drink my blood anymore?"

Rant Valo turned to his left at Veia who was still eating the dried yellowberries. She had been the number one consumer of it.

"Hm? Oh, right! I'll drink your blood now!"

Veia was a little bit confused at first as she was minding her own business and eating but she quickly remembered that Rant Valo's blood was very delicious. She hugged Rant Valo and bit into his neck.

Rant Valo was caught off guard by her attack. His neck was bitten into and blood was sucked out of his body.

A few seconds later, Veia released her mouth from Rant Valo's neck and released a satisfied breath.

"Puah~ Master's blood really tastes very good."

Veia's eyes were clouded with lust as she stood there and looked at Rant Valo. Rant Valo was still feeling the pleasure from her drinking his blood. Every time she does it, he never gets tired of it.

"..."

Floriana Sabina was watching them squirm in pleasure earlier. It was not a pleasant sight for her. It was like she was watching them do something lewd in broad daylight.

"Let's go."

Floriana Sabina spoke to both of them and she walked ahead. Both Rant Valo and Veia looked at each other and followed after her. Veia's fingers touched Rant Valo's hand.

Rant Valo turned to look at her and he saw her looking at him shyly.

"Um, Master, can we hold hands?"

Veia's face was red as she looked up at Rant Valo in embarrassment. Her hand was open right beside Rant Valo's hand.

Floriana Sabina's ears perked up when she heard Veia's words. She heard what she said loud and clear.

"H-hold hands!?"

Rant Valo exclaimed in shock. This was something he would never dream of. Someone actually asked to hold his hand. They would steer away from him back in the village, yet here was Veia, doing just the exact opposite.

Rant Valo's hand slowly moved towards Veia's hands in an attempt to hold hands with it.
