My Master Is A Tsundere

Inside Rant Valo's core is a huge mass of white light in the center with 5 thin threads intertwining with each other as they connect to his body. The mana flowed from the center of his core to the threads to his body and back. It was all cycling inside Rant Valo's body in a closed loop.

"Master, I wanna test my strength!"

Rant Valo gripped his fist tightly. He wanted to know what's the difference in his strength.

"You can have a spar with Veia."

Floriana Sabina suggested. Since it didn't end well when she was the one to test Rant Valo's strength, she was a bit afraid of doing it again. Who knows what would happen if she couldn't control her strength this time.

"Okay."

Rant Valo nodded his head. He looked at Veia and closed his eyes to clear himself of any unnecessary thoughts. Some lewd thoughts about Veia were still lingering in his mind as he just released some pent-up stress last night.

"Veia, my disciple wants to have a spar with you."

Floriana Sabina called out to Veia. Veia opened her eyes groggily. She was quite deep into cultivation and couldn't make sense of what was happening in the surroundings for a bit.

"Master? Okay."

Veia looked at Rant Valo and nodded her head. There was a trace of bitterness in her heart when she looked at Rant Valo. Her pride as a woman took a hit so many times with him. He always rejects her advances.

"Just spar. Test my disciple's strength."

Floriana Sabina reminded Veia. Veia stood up and walked farther from Rant Valo. She took a stance with her palm pushed outwards.

"Master, punch my palm with all your strength."

Veia spoke. Rant Valo looked at her palm and nodded his head. He wouldn't have dared to punch Veia if he didn't know that she was actually very strong.

"Here I go!"

Rant Valo ran forward with his arms pulled back and when he was at the right distance, he released a punch towards Veia's palms. The wind generated by his fist rustled the grass on the ground.

BAM

Veia did not move back an inch, but Rant Valo rebounded backward. Veia's palm was like a steel wall. His punch couldn't make it budge at all.

"Are you okay, Master?"

Veia asked worriedly when she saw Rant Valo rebounded backward. Rant Valo shook his hand in pain.

"I-I'm okay."

Rant Valo replied with a smile. Even though it hurt for him, as her master, he couldn't show any weakness.

"Master…"

Although Rant Valo didn't show it, Veia was still capable of seeing through his intentions. Her heart felt fluttery again. She was like a maiden in love. Anything that Rant Valo did for her just pulls her strings.

"Ehem! Continue!"

Floriana Sabina coughed when she saw Veia acting all lovey-dovey again. She really couldn't control herself.

Rant Valo opened and closed his right fist and allowed the pain to fade away. He took a stance again and this time he was in front of Veia. He wanted to see how strong he would be if he didn't build up momentum like earlier.

"Ready?"

"Yes, Master!"

Veia responded with joy on her face. She already forgot her bitterness from being rejected by Rant Valo multiple times. There was only happiness inside her right now as she helped Rant Valo test out his newfound strength.

"HaH!"

Rant Valo threw a punch at her palm. Rant Valo's body shook from the vibration. He felt his whole arm ache as the feeling of punching a steel wall couldn't be any more similar.

"How is his strength?"

Floriana Sabina asked Veia. Veia thought for a bit as she opened and closed her palms to try and quantify the strength that Rant Valo has displayed.

"He is about at the peak of the 5th Mana Condensation stage for his physical strength."

Veia replied. For Magic Cultivators, their physical strength is not the same as Sword Cultivators. Sword Cultivators may even have double or ten times the strength of a Magic Cultivator in the same cultivation stage. What Magic Cultivators excel at isn't in physical strength but in their magic.

"Really? He's already at the peak of the 5th Mana Condensation stage in physical strength. How would his magic turn out to be?"

Veia's face was filled with excitement as she thought of Rant Valo's current strength. His Unique Constitution is really showing off its strengths.

"I… I don't remember any magic techniques…"

Veia spoke awkwardly. She could only circulate her cultivation but she could not utilize it. If she could, she would have attacked Floriana Sabina with magic techniques when they first met, but since she didn't have any, all she could do back then was to attack with physical attacks.

"Okay. I will do it. I will set up layers of barriers that will break at each level of cultivation stage."

Floriana Sabina replaced Veia in her position. Rant Valo still felt his arms ache from his earlier punch but he could manage it. He rotated his arm to try and stretch his muscles.

"I only know one magic technique."

Rant Valo said. In the cultivation manual that Floriana Sabina gave Rant Valo, he could only see one Magic Technique. So that's why he only mastered one.

"Just give it your all, Disciple."

Floriana Sabina responded with a smile. She wanted to see what Magic Technique the Cultivation Manual that she picked up has. She was more so excited to see it being used by Rant Valo.

"Fire Shield!"

Floriana Sabina waved her right hand in front of her and a semi-translucent orange wall of fire appeared. She waved her left hand in front of her right hand and the semi-translucent orange wall of fire separated into ten different layers. The first one was completely orange and opaque, while the last one, which was in front of Floriana Sabina, was a transparent orange barrier.

The closer it got to Floriana Sabina, the clearer and stronger the barrier of flames was.
