"Nale Narene. It's time for me to ascend."

Lord Xeva said to skeleton Nale Narene.

"Yes, My Lord."

Nale Narene bowed his head respectfully.

His current strength was a Foundation Establishment stage cultivator. He was not like Rant Valo who could cultivate very fast. His talent was average at best.

"Take care of things here."

Lord Xeva said to him. He then left the shrine and flew to the skies.

Billowing thunder accumulated above him. It was a thunderstorm that was several times stronger than a normal one. Or in other words, it was an Ascension Lightning Tribulation.

"Lord Xeva…"

Nale Narene watched silently.

Lord Xeva floated in the sky silently. His cloak flapped with the wind and a serene atmosphere surrounded him. It was as if he was a tree that would never budge against the wind. In his case, he won't budge against this Ascension Lightning Tribulation.

BOOM!

Thunder crackled above. Rain then started pouring down heavily.

"Kekekeke. It's coming."

Lord Xeva laughed creepily.

BOOOM!

A bolt of lightning as thick as a bucket fell down from the sky. It hit Lord Xeva directly on his head.

The lightning traveled across his body and created arcs of lightning.

"Kekekeke. Not enough to kill me."

Lord Xeva laughed at the puny attempt of the lightning tribulation to destroy his body.

Suddenly, the clouds above churned. They compacted tightly and another bolt of lightning fell down.

BOOM!

It was at least as thick as an opened umbrella. Lord Xeva's whole body was covered by the lightning.

"AHHHHHH!!!!"

This time Lord Xeva screamed in pain. The lightning attempted to destroy each part of his body at the same time. He was born out of the Darkness Element, and the lightning was attempting to purify it.

The lightning faded and Lord Xeva was revealed. His cloak was no more. The only thing left was his white bones. He floated in the sky in pain as his soul flickered weakly.

"This is scarier than I thought it would be. Kekeke."

Lord Xeva laughed to himself dryly. He underestimated this Ascension Lightning Tribulation.

BOOM!

A tri-colored bolt of lightning suddenly fell from the sky. It contained blue, gold, and purple lightning. They twisted around each other before hitting Lord Xeva.

"AHHHHHH!! I HAVE BEEN LIVING IN THIS WORLD SINCE THE BEGINNING!! I WILL NOT LET YOU KILL ME HERE!!"

Lord Xeva shouted angrily. He used his rage as his fuel to keep himself from crumbling from the pain.

"This is crazy…"

Nale Narene murmured in fear as he stared at Lord Xeva who was suffering in the sky.

"Ahh…"

Lord Xeva looked at his hands that were disintegrating. He thought that he could easily pass this lightning tribulation as he had already lived for so long.

"Lord Xeva!"

Nale Narene shouted in alarm.

"Lord Xeva!"

Suddenly, skeletons rose from the ground and cried out in alarm. They all looked at the sky in panic.

"What do I do now?"

Nale Narene bit his lips in pain. If Lord Xeva dies, he wouldn't be able to inherit any of his supreme cultivation techniques.

Lord Xeva's skeleton disintegrated into dust that scattered with the wind, but to Nale Narene and the other's shock, his soul fire still floated in the sky.

"What's going on?"

Nale Narene and the other skeletons stared at the sky blankly. Does this mean that Lord Xeva is still alive?

Slowly, Darkness Mana gathered around them. It created a vortex with the soul fire as the center.

"Kekekeke. I knew it. I won't die that easily."

Lord Xeva cackled in laughter. His body slowly reformed right in front of them. What was different was that he formed flesh. His skeleton body was no more.

"W-Woah!! This is the first time I took on this form."

Lord Xeva himself was shocked by his transformation. He thought that he would have kept his skeleton appearance.

"Lord Xeva!"

Nale Narene called out to him happily.

Lord Xeva's face was that of a gloomy handsome man. He had very pale white skin that seemed fragile. Black miasma oozed out of his body. A black cloak then took form and covered his body.

"Kekekekeke! This is interesting. This power is unfathomable. I think I have a chance against that immortal from before."

Lord Xeva laughed to himself. He finally got stronger again. His competitive spirit was once again ignited.

"Lord Xeva!"

Nale Narene called out to him.

"Mm."

Lord Xeva nodded his head at Nale Narene.

"Here."

A scroll magically appeared in Lord Xeva's hand. He tossed it towards Nale Narene.

"Thank you, My Lord!"

Nale Narene caught it and bowed to him respectfully.

"Take care of things here. You guys, listen to Nale Narene."

Lord Xeva turned to the other skeletons and said.

"Yes, Our Lord."

The skeletons bowed their heads together.

"Alright. See you."

Lord Xeva waved his hand at Nale Narene.

Suddenly, a golden light appeared from space. It slowly pulled Lord Xeva up, and it slowly got faster and faster.

Nale Narene and the skeletons watched him disappear into heaven.

"Ascension…"

Nale Narene gripped his fists tightly. He had a new goal to reach. Once he settled things in Narene Town, he would pursue it with all of his heart.

This time, 30 years had passed.

Tera had already grown up into a beautiful lady. She was known to suck the blood of virgin men. Though, he was forbidden by Rant Valo to suck their life essences.

Menova had also grown into a beautiful woman. She looked like Floriana Sabina's sister whenever they stood beside each other. The only difference was that there was innocence in her eyes.

"It's time for Veia's ascension."

Rant Valo said to the three of them.

"Mm."

The three of them nodded their heads. They were pretty relaxed as they knew that Rant Valo would step in to save Veia if something happened to her.

They watched Veia from afar. She was standing in a large crater on the ground. This was where they had been training their daughters.

"Hehehe. Come! I don't fear you."

Veia shouted to the thunderstorm above her.

Suddenly, the clouds disappeared. It was as if everything was just a dream.

"Huh?"

Veia blinked her eyes in confusion. She turned her head to Rant Valo.

"Hey! Do your job properly!"

Rant Valo shouted to the sky angrily.

Slowly, the thunderclouds gathered again.

"Do it!"

Rant Valo urged the lightning tribulation again.

The lightning tribulation suddenly gained energy, and it crackled with thunderous booms.

Boom!

A thin bolt of lightning fell from the clouds and hit Veia.

"Ahh!"

Veia screamed in pain. The lightning crawled all over her body causing her to feel pain.

"Veia…"

Rant Valo furrowed his eyebrows in worry.

"Mother…"

Tera watched on worriedly. Menova who was beside her, wrapped her arms around her shoulder.

"Trust in your mother."

Menova's sweet voice murmured into Tera's ears.

"Mm. Mother will be saved by father if something happens."

Tera nodded her head.

The lightnign tribulation stopped after seeing that Rant Valo was frowning.

"Continue!"

Rant Valo shouted. He was squintjng his eyes as he watched Veia pant in the sky.

Boom!

Another lightning bolt fell from the sky. It was exactly similar to the first one. The lightning tribulation was scared of causing her more pain. It feared angering the manager of the universe.

"Ah!"

Veia screamed in shock. It was so sudden that she wasn't able to prepare herself. It felt hot and tingly as it traveled inside her body.

"The last one!"

Rant Valo shouted.

The lightning tribulation obliged and another lightning bolt fell from the sky and hit Veia.

"Ahhh!!"

This time, Veia's voice turned into a moan. She panted heavily as she floated in the sky.

"..."

Rant Valo was speechless seeing her reaction. He was familiar with that state of her. She's clearly turned on from being hit by the lightning.

"Go away!"

Rant Valo shouted to the lightning tribulation angrily. It immediately scattered into nothing, returning sunshine in the area.

"What happened to mother?"

Tera gripped Menova's hand nervously. Don't worry, she's surely fine.

"Veia, what are you doing getting turned on from your Ascension Lightning Tribulation?"

Rant Valo asked her with a frown on his face.

Veia said to him while she rubbed her legs together.

Rant Valo slapped Veia across the cheek.

Rant Valo asked her angrily.

Veia jumped into Rant Valo's embrace weakly. She was panted heavily.

Veia replied to Rant Valo.

"Pervert."

Rant Valo called her coldly.

"Ahh… Take me home now."

Veia pleaded to Rant Valo.

Tera gripped her fist tightly. She swore to herself that she'll not disappoint her father in the future.

Menova agreed with her. They then returned to their home, downcast.
