"A newborn vampire?"

Rant Valo repeated Floriana Sabina's words in confusion. How was she a newborn? The girl clearly looked like someone who is the same age as him.

"You know that humans can turn into vampires, right?"

"I do."

"Humans that recently turned into a vampire are called newborn vampires."

Rant Valo looked at the girl in front of him in shock. If it is as Floriana Sabina said then she is actually a victim of a vampire. He couldn't help but pity her when he thought about it.

Then was she a villager around this area? Rant Valo thought as he looked at her. But no matter how he looked at her, she didn't fit his image of a villager.

"Hmm? You seem to know a lot about vampires."

The girl looked back at Floriana Sabina with interest in her eyes.

"Of course! I have read a lot of books about the subject, you know?"

Floriana Sabina couldn't help but boast to the girl.

"Then tell me… why can't I remember my name and my past?"

The girl said with a serious look in her eyes.

"From what I have read, vampires should be able to remember their past including their name."

The transformation of a human to a vampire is not that violent for the victim to lose their memories. Rather, it only involves pain as the body changes to a vampire body. Such as the growth of sharp fangs, sensitivity to sunlight, and red eyes for example.

"Lil sis, I don't remember my name and my past."

The girl said to her with a blank face. If what she said is true then wouldn't she be very pitiful then? She will be the only vampire to forget her past in all of history!

"You are a hybrid. A succubus and a vampire hybrid to be exact."

Floriana Sabina explained after seeing the way the girl looked at her.

"A succubus?"

The girl looked at her hands and looked at Rant Valo in the distance. Her eyes widened as she realized something.

"So that's why I felt like assaulting that guy over here!"

"Yes. And that also explains why you can't remember your past and your name."

Floriana Sabina nodded at the girl's words and continued her explanation.

"Why?"

The girl asked in confusion. What was the difference between being a vampire and a half-vampire, half-succubus hybrid?

"This may sound like a shock to you but… Succubi are born through sex."

Floriana Sabina explained carefully. There was a serious meaning in her words.

"Sex? Isn't that how everyone is made?"

"Yes, but there is a difference. You were raped to death."

Floriana Sabina bit her lips after saying that. She looked away from the girl's eyes.

The girl widened her eyes in shock. Then doesn't that mean that prior to this, she was raped to death? Shivers ran down her spine as she imagined how horrible that could've been.

"But I'm alive and well!"

The girl looked panicked and shouted the one that confused her the most. She didn't want to accept that she was raped to death. She can't remember any of that happening. That will be too horrible.

"You were revived by your grievances. The darkness element in the surroundings gathered around you and used your grievance from being raped to reshape your body into a succubus."

Floriana Sabina explained bitterly. She only read about it before but now there was someone who experienced something like that in front of her.

As a woman, her heart couldn't fathom how scared and angry she must've been to be revived by the darkness elements in the air. Being raped to death was basically the worst thing that could happen to any girl in the world.

"I… but I don't feel hate or anger…"

The girl clenched her fists in frustration. If she couldn't even remember anything then how could she exact her revenge. She looked at Rant Valo and an idea popped into her head.

"Big Brother, can I taste your blood?"

Rant Valo was surprised at her words. Why would she want to taste his blood now? Does she think that he was the one who raped her??

"I'm a virgin! I didn't do it!"

There was panic in Rant Valo's voice as he shouted at her.

"What are you talking about, Big Brother? I just couldn't resist the smell coming from your body."

The girl licked her lips as she stared at Rant Valo.

"???"

Rant Valo was confused. Did he really smell that bad for her to say that?

"I smell?"

"Yes, it is something that entices me…Ahhh"

The girl took a long whiff of the smell coming from the air and let out a breath of satisfaction.

Rant Valo felt weird when he saw her inhale his smell as if it was some kind of addicting drug. He sniffed himself and found that he just smelled like grilled fish.

"Oh, so you liked my grilled fish after all!"

Rant Valo shouted in understanding. That explains it.

"No. It was different from the fishy smell you have. Your blood smell delicious."

The girl stared at Rant Valo's neck intensely. Her throat moved as she gulped a mouthful of saliva. The more she smelled the smell coming from Rant Valo, the more she wanted to taste it.

"My blood?"

"Now let me taste your blood!"

The girl covered her head with her hood. Then with a flash, she arrived in front of Rant Valo and bit into his neck.

Floriana Sabina appeared right beside her and quickly pulled her away.

"Noo! My blood!"

The girl stretched her arms towards Rant Valo to grasp him, but Floriana Sabina held her back. She only got a little sip but it tasted heavenly. She even felt her cultivation base rise quite a fair bit.

"Don't just pounce on my disciple!"

Floriana Sabina flicked the girl on her forehead.

"Ow! Lil sis, I'm sorry..."

The girl flinched backwards and rubbed the red spot pitifully.
