My Daughter is an Assassin

Chapter 38: Slap Your Own Daughter in the Face!

Seeing that Judith had joined them, Borg decided not to interfere anymore.

This was already a war zone. If they wanted to get to the embassy, they would have to take a detour, which would take them at least two hours.

Judith had intended to complete the competition and assassinate a rebel general, but when she saw her father, she gave up the idea.

Compared to this competition, her father's life was more important.

On the way, because there was no danger for the time being, Judith's heart slowly relaxed. She couldn't help but ask Borg some questions.

"Hello, sir. May I ask, did you come here alone?"

Borg was surprised to hear his daughter's question, but he quickly reacted.

Judith still thought that he didn't recognize her, so it was time to put on a performance.

"Hello there. You can ask, of course! I have a daughter who insisted on coming here for vacation, so I had no choice but to agree. But I couldn't initially come with her as something happened at my great-grandmother's house, so I was delayed for a day. Who knew that this would happen when I came to this country?"

After Borg finished speaking, Judith almost exposed herself because she couldn't stand her father's tricks anymore. At first, he said she was his cousin, then he said she was his great-aunt, and now he said she was his great-grandmother!

Which was it!

And how come she had never met all these relatives in the ten years they had been together? Did he think her stupid?

Because of this, she was now very sure that her father was late because he wanted to sleep in.

"It seems that you are really a good father!"

Of course, Judith would not expose herself, so she could only praise him.

Hearing this, Borg felt a warmth in his heart, and the panic on his face eased up.

"Ah, brother, don't be so proud. Last time, didn't you say that your daughter is unruly? Why are you so worried now?"

Eric, who was standing in front, couldn't help but interject when he heard their conversation.

He didn't know that the masked female agent was Borg's daughter, Judith, so he didn't hide his words. How was he supposed to know that this girl was the same girl Borg had spoken to him about?

Borg's expression changed when he heard this, and he retorted, "Slander!"

"This is pure slander! You are slandering the great love of a father!"

"If I didn't hear wrongly, you were the one who said that last time. You even said that your daughter was stingy! You always snitch on me. I'm all anxious. If you don't believe me, you can ask your daughter. She's right here!" Borg retorted to Eric.

Borg didn't want to be questioned by Judith about what he had said. This wasn't the time or place for it.

He wasn't worried that Judith would find out why Linda's family was here. He would be able to find out when he checked.

Fortunately, Judith hadn't seen him dealing with those mercenaries. Otherwise, his identity would have been exposed on the spot.

"Dad!" Linda immediately shouted at Eric after hearing Borg's words.

When Eric heard her, he looked helpless.

Did I offend you? Why did you suddenly turn to me? Eric thought.

He was a man in his forties, and he was about to cry. He looked helpless.

Borg didn't care about Eric's helplessness and continued, "Also! What did you say about your wife? You said she was like an old lady, managing things. You said that if she wasn't your wife, you would have slapped her!"

Borg increased the intensity of his attacks, wanting to direct the cannon fire towards Eric.

When Eric's wife heard this, she didn't move. Then, she stretched out a hand towards Eric's ear…

Borg knew there would be no problem now, that Eric wouldn't dare to slander his name again. He wouldn't dare to talk nonsense about him in the future.

"Brother, I didn't provoke you!" Before Eric was dragged away, he looked at Borg helplessly.

At that moment, Borg suddenly realized something, and he continued, "Aiya! I'm sorry for saying the wrong thing! I forgot that sister-in-law and niece are here. Sister-in-law, eldest niece, don't mind me. What I said just now was all fake. It was all fake. Believe me!"

"F*ck!" Eric shouted when Borg finished speaking.

Because of Borg, his wife and child believed what he said was true!

The rest of the crowd secretly laughed when they saw this scene. They almost forgot that they were trying to escape.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Just then, a burst of gunshots echoed around them.

Everyone immediately found cover and hid.

"Go to the left!" Judith said.

Borg immediately realized that the worst place to go was the left!

Because to the left a fierce battle was raging. He didn't even need to look carefully. He could hear it just by listening.

The place where the gunshots came from was indeed a battle ground, but the gunshots were scattered, and it was hard to tell where they were coming from.

So, Borg continued to act and said to the crowd, "I-I don't think we should go left, Special Agent... There seems to be gunshots on the left side!"

As soon as Borg said that, everyone stopped and looked at Judith.

Facing so many people, Judith didn't dare to look up. If she wasn't wearing a mask, then everyone would probably be able to see her flushed face!

Her dad was right… She was just distracted and didn't notice it.

She calmed down, listened and found that it really was the case.

So, she had to concede with her father's words and whispered to him, "You're smart!"

Borg looked embarrassed. He didn't want to slap his daughter's face, but he had no choice…

His daughter's detection ability was too weak!
