“Rumors are just unproven stories, aren’t they? As far as I can remember, you and I are supposed to be a couple, according to the rumors,” Mu Shaoqing attempted to provoke him, but in a playful way.

For a brief instant, his friend’s face darkened.

Mu Shaoqing slowly rose to his feet and grabbed his phone on the table. He then threw a glance at the man who was clearly stung by the mockery. “Shaoang, tomorrow night’s race is canceled. We’ll compete another time.”

“You’ve never failed to keep an appointment. Where are you going?”

The man was baffled.
