“Youyou, remember that I don’t want the spicy one. Buy a vanilla ice cream for me too.”

Ning Youyou looked at Xiao Lan and Xiao Hong who had gone toward the lift to go upstairs to the VIP area and nodded her head gently.

She bought the junk food and the vanilla ice cream they wanted. Then, she walked toward the lift with the things in her hand.

Getting onto the lift, her phone rang at that moment.

She took it out and found that it was a call from Qianya. She answered the call immediately. 

“Qianya, it’s me.”

“Youyou, it’s been a few days since we last met. Did you miss me?”

“Yes, of course I miss you! I did nothing else except missing you.” Then, she smiled. Qianya always liked to joke with her.

“I’m so happy to hear that.”

Ning Youyou leaned against the lift and smiled softly while holding the food in her hand. She did not even realize that somebody had entered the lift from behind her.

“Fine, I’m not messing with you anymore. Youyou, do you remember what I told you last time?”

“What?”

“That we’re going to gather someday. My brother has a day off this weekend. What about we go and have a meal at the international restaurant?”

“Is it this weekend?”

“Yes, it’s for your sake too since you don’t have to work on weekends too. So, we’ll meet each other this weekend.”

Ning Youyou thought for a while before answering, “Sure!”

“Good, you’ve promised me. I’ll come and pick you up that day. See you! Darling! I’ll blow you a kiss! Muah!”

“Muah!” Ning Youyou placed a kiss on the phone too as she smiled.

Then, she hung up her phone and thought about what they talked about on the phone just now. They were going to dine out this weekend with Qianya’s brother, Yi Beichen. It had been four years. She did not know how he was now. Surely, that energetic and lively boy had become quite handsome now!

Then, the lift reached the top floor and she did not get to stand properly with her heels. She staggered and fell forward.

“Ah!” She held the things in her hands subconsciously and she tried to grab onto something as she was falling forward. However, her arm was grabbed by somebody at the next second. Then, she fell directly into a warm embrace.

Ning Youyou was shocked suddenly. She froze there completely as she could smell the faint scent of cigarettes.

What was happening?

She recovered her senses and looked up anxiously and found herself staring at a handsome face.

That man was extraordinarily handsome! 

His facial features were so handsome just like that of a sculpture. Unfortunately, he was wearing a pair of sunglasses and almost his entire face was hidden. How nice would it be if she could take a look at his entire face!

Suddenly, a familiar feeling engulfed her completely. She did not get to say anything else. The man released her and she staggered and fell down sitting on the floor.

“Oof!” Ning Youyou sat down on the floor harshly, hurting her hip. What was he thinking?

He had helped her when she was about to fall down. Now, he released her all of a sudden. He just did not know how to treat women nicely.
