Chapter 2861: Luck

"Finished," I said as I looked at the work, I had just done; it took a couple of hours, but I was glad I finished with it; now, no enemy would be able to leave my core once they entered inside.

The thing I have created, should I say upgraded, is the small spatial domain. I had this when I was a master; I had created it to lessen the load on my core when I brought the enemies inside.

I have made enough preparation in my Inheritance and used appropriate spatial resources during the breakthrough that I do not need to create the spatial domain, but as I had said, I will be dealing with the Grand Lords; those bastards have numerous tricks.

So, even when I was sure of my abilities, I made these extra preparations. So, no matter what tricks the caged enemy would bring, I would be able to deal with it.

This spatial domain I had created is pretty amazing; every time it would use, it burns very precious resources, the spatial resources are not easy to find, but I will use it every time I capture a Grand Lord; it will be very much worth it, even when the Grand Lords did not have the bloodline.

I tried a few things before I walked toward the last thing; I wanted to see it the moment I had finished with the breakthrough but did not have it till now.

It took me a moment to appear beside it, as I took it outside, just beside my study station. It looked good there, like an art piece, but it is not an art piece, but my breakthrough formation, which has been crystallized.

The crystallization is not rare; with the amount of energy passed through these runes, I wouldn't be surprised if it had been crystallized.

Though, it still had a surprising factor; the crystalized runes still preserved the majority of rule-bending power and remained herbal energies, likely due to the special properties of the violet energy.

The combination of three things created something different; it inspired me to create something that might help me in my next breakthrough.

I tinkered around it for nearly an hour, taking many notes and making many plans before putting it away and opening my eyes.

I had a lot of work to do, but I will do it later.

There are people I have to greet; look at the brightest minds of both races. Those who could solve this maze are exceptional people, and I want to see who they are.

So, I opened my eyes and got out of the abode; the moment I did, the gaze of one Grimm and two humans fell down on me.

"Zaar!" said the Grimm, "Grandmaster," said the two humans.

I smiled at the humans before turning to old Grimm. There are not many old Grimms, but this one, the bastard, is nearly four hundred years old, and like that bastard Krah, it is a former member of the coven, resigned more than a century ago to find a way into the Grand Lord, but till now, it was not able to.

"Rhiey; I did not know your mind is still working enough to solve the maze," I said to old Flame Tusk Hogman. "If a child like you could solve it, then it wouldn't be any problem to the great me," it said grandly.

"Still, it was nearly a day later than a child," I said before turning to the humans from glaring Grimm, both of them surprisingly Grandmasters and young; the woman is only twenty-five years old and the man twenty-seven.

"Grandmistress Sera, Grandmaster Harode, congratulations on solving the maze; it is not easy to solve in such a short time," I congratulated.

To be honest, I had thought the humans that would solve the puzzles would be among the best known with experience, but these two have clearly surprised me. I should not be; if I could do it, then others could do it.

"Thank you, Grandmaster," they said.

"If you don't mind, come inside my abode; I will treat you to some wine and snacks," I said, hearing that a look of hesitation couldn't help but appear on their face.

"Don't worry; it will not impede your breakthrough; it might even help you," I said, seeing the reservation on their face.

The boost they have gotten had taken them to their peak; it was so much that they were not able to be

Hearing that, the women's eyes lit up as if she remembered something. "You are too kind, Grandmaster," said the woman happily and walked toward the door, seeing that the man also followed with some hesitation.

"See you later, Rhiey," I said to the Grimm, who was already glaring at me, before entering inside.

"Please, take a seat," I said and waved my hand immediately; a sumptuous feast of snacks appeared in front of them. From the rarest cheeses to precious fruits and meat, there are empty crystal glasses, which I will fill with the bottle of wine in my hand.

"Thank you, Grandmaster," they said as they took a seat while staring at the snacks in front of them.

What I placed in front of them was not a normal thing; even High-Grandmasters would be hard-pressed to get their hands on those things, especially the wine, which had aged well in my core.

"Don't be shy; eat," I said, seeing them looking at the feast hesitantly while I poured the wine into the empty glasses.

After a moment of hesitation, the girl took a bite of the grape while the man picked the slice of cheese; both of them closed their eyes the moment they took the bite.

"I assume both of you are planning on making a breakthrough now that the boost has taken you to the peak," I said as they became comfortable.

"Yes, it was our great luck that we had survived the maze; without gaining the power of High-Grandmaster, it would be impossible for us to survive the next challenge," said the man as he picked the slice of the fruit.

"It is a miracle that both of you survived," I said to them; I was literally shocked by how they had survived. It is very hard for a Grandmaster to survive the maze on their own; without any protection, they would die in the maze.

"It is," said the woman before finally taking a sip of blood wine. This is a diluted one, so a Grandmaster could drink it without getting burned to death.

I did not ask them how they have survived as I am looking at it at my core; the women were part of the project and thus had my seed; it had recorded everything.

As I watched the recording, I couldn't help but get shocked. The sheer luck this woman had is simply amazing. In her time in the maze, she had come across many enemies, but she had always had someone to protect her; even jill had protected her once, and she even survived the battle of the Grand Lords in the maze.

I have heard about some people having such luck, but it is my first time seeing it.
