( Max's POV )

Max was unaware of what the one's in the higher realms were scheming, all he could do was play the hand that he was dealt and do it as best as he could.

OR SO he would have liked to make the one's in the higher realm believe as the reality was anything but that.

Internally, Max was laughing his ass off at the opportunity that had suddenly presented itself, as for him, the test could not have been made any easier.

Max had now absorbed the souls of 3 monarchs.

Angakok, Bavuma and Dracula and had a pretty solid understanding about the laws of creation and destruction as well as how to condense the soul.

He was already on the verge of basic mastery in terms of creation and destruction when he took the test and within the first Twenty minutes of the test starting, Max successfully achieved basic mastery in both, absolutely stunning those watching from above.

Creation energy was the amalgamation of all the positive elements in the universe.

Fire, wind, time and Void fused together formed the law of creation, with time being the critical binder in the process which was the reason behind why everything created decayed or changed form once it began losing time energy.

Destruction energy on the other hand was the amalgamation of water, earth, space and darkness as fused together it held the power to reduce anything in creation back to its liberated energy state and Max who had the mastery of all the basic elements could do so with ease.

Although there was much more to the laws of creation and destruction than just this basic exercise, however, in this test that was no longer necessary as the second that Max cleared the first two conditions he immediately turned his full focus around to the most difficult part of the test which was to condense the soul.

Condensing the soul was a time intensive process and probably the most challenging part of this entire promotion test as it needed one to use the law of gravity coupled with a strong use of divine essence to condense the free flowing soul energy within the soul vessel to slowly liquify.

Max already understood the theory behind attempting this technique and got straight to it after clearing the first two test conditions as the celestials watching him from above were dumbfounded by his insane speed.

The one who was shocked the most was the perfect warrior himself, as he had assumed that with Drax out of his body Max would not be able to harness the knowledge that was required to clear the promotion test, however, little did he know that in the months leading up to this test, Max and Drax had often talked and theorised about the knowledge they gained from absorbing the souls of monarchs as Max was more than prepared on his own when he walked into the test.

********

( Meanwhile Rudra )

Rudra was a bit worried when the perfect warrior tried to put him in a dilemma but as he saw Max's progress in the promotion test he could not help but grin from ear to ear as he felt relieved that his brother was above the petty schemes that the celestials could produce.

The perfect warrior had miscalculated it seemed and instead of impeding Max's growth this time around and forcing Rudra to use the one artefact that could prove to be a game-changer in the future, he has instead given Max a free pass to becoming a monarch with the perfect evaluation and Rudra felt sure that he was suffering a heartache from seeing Max progress so fast.

Unlike most other celestials, instead of challenging the perfect warrior for his throne the second that he ascended Rudra was more patient before throwing his first challenge.

He wanted to collect all the information that he could by talking to other celestials as well as understand the strengths and weaknesses of the perfect warrior to formulate a strong strategy to fight before making his first attempt.

However, now that Max was showing something so interesting to him, Rudra could not help but feel drawn to taking a day and see Max progress instead as somehow it felt even more satisfying to see him face-slap the perfect warrior without even realising what he was doing.

Rudra felt regretful that the perfect warrior was not in front of him at the moment as he wanted to see his reaction right now as he could bet that it would be one of dismay.

He had tried to rig the odds against Max, however, ended up helping him instead which must be making him feel stupid.

Although the road to condensing a liquid soul was long and despite knowing the method of how to do it, completely condensing a soul within 14 days was an incredibly hard job, Rudra was confident that Max was going to achieve it.

He remembered his own attempt at becoming tier8 and how it took him close to 1.5 years to condense his soul, however, just like Max he too aimed for perfection in the test and passed with a SSS rating.

However, while SSS would have been the ceiling for Max as well, with the perfect warrior's intervention, he now had the chance to achieve the impossible SSS+ grade in the final promotion system test and just thinking about it gave Rudra the goosebumps.

SSS+ rating in the final promotion test meant that Max would get to choose one more special skill than what a normal warrior could!

If he could provide a skill to his brother just like the celestials provided to him, then he could pass down his ultimate ability to Max giving him a peerless foundation.

Thinking about this, Rudra suddenly felt the wheels in his head turning fast, as he realised that he had as much time as Max completing his promotion test to have his first bout with the perfect warrior as only by fighting him would he understand what was the most important skill that Max needed to have in his arsenal to defeat him.

This put him on a timeframe as well, as he needed to collect information, formulate a plan and fight the perfect warrior before Max successfully completed his promotion.
