Meet the principal

Act 90. One more

After leaving the Afternoon Tea Party clothing store, Reiner took Claire to the restaurant with the best reputation in Toronto for lunch.

Smoked pork knuckle with balsamic sauce, steamed prawns with garlic sauce, cumin lamb chops, pan-fried trout, mixed vegetable soup, pork pie, seared beef shoulder, roasted whole chicken with dill, stewed Cheese and potatoes, red wine seafood risotto, chickpea and bacon salad, cold cut lobster with caviar, caramel pudding and other foods were placed on the table one by one. Claire's eyes were shining, she was holding a knife and fork in her hand, and her saliva almost leaked from her mouth. .

"Eat whatever you want."

Reiner felt the gazes from his neighbors and the waiter, and smiled helplessly.

"Is it really true that you can eat whatever you want?"

Stars appeared in Claire's eyes. She suddenly felt that Reiner seemed much taller and had become the second best guy in her heart. By the way, the first one should be the former principal who made her bigger. .

"Eat, I still have this little money."

Reiner picked up a glass of red wine and clinked the glasses with Claire.

"Then I won't be polite."

Claire said, cut off a large piece of chicken with a knife, and began to enjoy the food.

Seeing her eating happily, Reiner felt that his appetite had improved a lot. He picked up a prawn, skillfully opened the shell of the shrimp with a knife and fork, and put it into his mouth.

The fresh smell of the sea and the spicy garlic flavor complement each other, like ripples on the calm sea. The few spices added to the sauce shine like the stars on the sea, and the shrimp meat, the protagonist, seems to rise. The bright moon brings everything together into its brightness.

“It is indeed the top restaurant in Toronto, both in terms of ingredients and cooking techniques.”

Reiner nodded in admiration and looked at Claire who was devouring the food without looking like a lady.

"This is delicious, this is super delicious, this is so delicious!"

She could only use the most basic words to describe the food, but after all, being able to squeeze out the time to talk between chewing was already quite remarkable for Claire.

"Eat slowly."

Reiner said, and from the corner of his vision, he caught a glimpse of several familiar people coming to this restaurant.

That was Mr. Patchwell's family.

Obviously, the two ignorant naughty children must have been tortured by Reiner's test paper this morning, and they looked listless. They were several times more depressed than they were when they were making trouble last night.

The two children had their heads drooped, while their mother was preaching.

"Don't you two usually have pretty good grades? Why can't you even do these basic questions? You must be lazy during this period!"

"But that's really difficult. It's definitely not a basic question!"

Brother James tried to argue, but was silenced by Mrs. Patchwell's glare.

"Stop quibbling. Look at Mrs. Falcion's son. He is one year older than you and is now a full-fledged mage. But you can't even answer these simple questions."

Mrs. Patchwell scolded, making both brothers unable to raise their heads.

The two of them quickly noticed Reiner's presence, not because they were enemies, but because the mountain of food on the table in front of Claire was so conspicuous that it was difficult not to notice.

When his brother Roger saw Reiner, he immediately pulled his brother James's cuff and whispered.

Soon, they met Reiner's gaze. The two brothers felt a chill running down their spines, as if a curse was taking effect. They shuddered and quickly turned their heads as if they had not seen Reiner.

After thinking about it, Reiner suddenly felt a bit of bad taste in his heart. He stood up, came to where the Patchwell family was sitting, and saluted the two adults.

"What a coincidence, we meet again,

I wonder how the questions I presented to the two young masters yesterday went? "

After a few pleasantries, Reiner asked with a smile.

"It seems that these two incompetent children will need more help from Mr. Ian Gray in the future."

Mrs. Patchwell shook her head. Her husband didn't care much about the children's studies, and only thought about those city councilors. Instead, this handsome young man took care of him, which made her who didn't know much about magic feel happy.

"Haha, although those questions are basic, the solution method is very clever and requires more practice to write them. In fact, I have a simpler test paper here..."

Reiner said as he was about to take out the second set of test papers from his storage bag, but two students immediately stopped him.

"Please wait a moment, Mr. Ian Gray, I think we still need to digest the previous test paper..."

Rogge forced out an awkward smile and argued that he didn't want his mother to give them such a rare test paper again.

You know, Rogge and James are a bit tough, but they are still top-ranking top students in school. How could they have been hit by Lena's test paper to such a degree that they could not write a single question after sitting for an hour? Come out, and more importantly, they can’t even understand the reference answers at the end!

This is so evil!

"Yes, yes, we will ask for advice next time we have a chance."

James nodded hurriedly, his body and mind were devastated by that test paper, and more importantly, their mother actually believed in Reiner!

"If that's the case, forget it. There's an exam tomorrow, so just relax more."

Reiner stopped his movements and said rather helplessly but earnestly.

"Mrs. Patchwell, you don't need to scold them too much. Children naturally like to have fun, and they will be more efficient when they combine work and rest."

"I understand, Mr. Iain Gray."

Mrs. Patchwell nodded, and felt that the young man in front of her was becoming more and more pleasing to her eyes. She patted her two sons on the shoulders and said in a commanding tone.

"You two, please thank Mr. Iain Gray quickly."

After hearing their mother's words, the two brothers looked a little ugly. It was too late to curse Reiner, and now they actually bowed their heads to say thank you?

But Mrs. Partchwell is obviously more authoritative in the field of disciplining children at home. Mr. Partchwell is ordering food and doesn't care about what is happening here. Roger and James have nowhere to turn to and can only speak obediently.

"Thank you Mr. Iain Gray."

"You're welcome, this is what I should do."

Reiner suppressed the laughter that kept coming up and just smiled and replied.

His response made the two brothers' skin stand on end, as if Reiner was a demon who could eat children alive.

Many years later, the Patchwell brothers realized that they were the first victims of the Great Demon Lord Reiner who would later make all the mage apprentices facing promotion exams tremble when they heard his name.
