After the light died out, the only thing left on my table was a small piece of paper. As I picked it up, I noticed the black ink used to write on it.

Focusing on the important part, I read the note.

It was a single sentence. One single sentence that was being protected by a cosmic level lock.

'Search for the holy black inlaid with gold.'

That's it.

A single sentence.

As I finished reading the note— it vanished. It had disintegrated into thin air.

Regaining my stability, I thought of the words.

What was I supposed to understand from this? Holy black inlaid with gold.

My immediate guess was Mecca.

But why would he ask me to look at Mecca?

And for some reason, I felt he was unlikely to be referring to Mecca.

I rushed towards my mom and asked if my father ever visited Mecca and she replied with a simple no.

She asked if I was able to open the box but I denied it. She seemed confused by my Mecca question but chose not to pursue it further.

If it was not Mecca then what was it?

I was still going to check Mecca but if that was not it… then I am clueless.

An hour ago I was whining about having no new project… And now I had one that seemed out of my league.

"Just what did you involve yourself with, dad…"

[Early Morning]

I was unable to sleep the entire night. The same words, "Holy black inlaid with gold" denied me any sleep.

Since, I was unable to sleep— not that I needed it after injecting myself with the serum…

I decided to jog.

The message left behind by my father was confusing but I had time to decipher it— hopefully.

However, today I couldn't worry about that as I had another issue to deal with.

After then there was the S.H.I.E.L.D launch… and only after that would I be free.

The jog helped me relax my mind and as such— I was able to focus on the pending task.

After having breakfast with my mother and checking on Mavros— I went to the lab.

It was the lab where I kept the genetic samples as well as any biology-related items.

And deep inside the lab— I stored the immortals.

Nearly ten immortal beings, including Romulus, were floating inside glass tanks filled with a solution that prevented them from waking up or using their powers.

Now, there was no reason for me to keep them alive but...

They are to be made into sacrifices.

I took out a small piece of paper from my pocket and smiled as it had the coordinates to a very special place.

I looked at the immortals once again and took a deep breath as I teleported.

I appeared in the middle of a vast forest. It was far more beautiful than the Savage Lands and the air in the area was intoxicatingly good.

But beautiful didn't mean it was safe.

"I am not here to cause any harm." I declared. "I know about your existence. You just want peace and someone to help with your loneliness."

The vine tightened its grip around my leg.

"I needed a place to live and help provide shelter for my kind." I continued. "I can provide you with both company and energy."

Surprisingly the grip around my leg loosened as the land began to shake.

"It is not a lie. I know you need life force to stay healthy… and thus I have brought gifts."

Using my spatial manipulation, I teleport three random mutants in front of me. And even before they could speak— I bound their limbs and covered their mouths using duck tape… Which I created on the spot.

The mutants wriggled on the ground like worms but I gave them no attention.

Well, no one paid any attention to them for a while but after a few seconds— countless vines sprung towards the mutants— dragging them out of my sight.

Looking at its reaction, I smiled.

"That's merely a gift. And if you let me and my people live here— I will provide you with enough energy to sustain your life force… forever."

The vines came towards my face and revolved around me before falling on the ground and returning to their normal form.

The ground cracked and a small plant sprung out from it.

The small plant— in an instant became a tree… And the tree formed a humanoid face.

"Hello there…" I greeted.

The sentient island stared at me.

"In a few years— if you allow, I will populate this place with my people. And do not worry as I will make sure that those people never cause harm to you." I ȧssured. "If you agree, I will provide you with life force."

The face stared at me for a very long time… but I didn't flinch. It was examining me, checking if I was trying to lie or trick it.

But as it realised I wasn't trying to fool it. It gave a nod.

The forest cleared a little, revealing a beautiful lake and a cliff.

"Beautiful…"

This place... was none other than the sentient island, or the living island—

'Krakoa.'

Once part of the biggest mutant habitat that was ruled by Apocalypse— which was later split in half.

Krakoa is one of that half.

"Thank you." I said with a smile. "Now let you repay your kindness."

Saying that, I teleported all the Externals that I had and even Romulus.

The sentient island stared at me once again.

"You can absorb their energy for eternity and they will still not die." I looked at the Externals. "Well some might but they will simply revive." I smiled. "So, you have an infinite supply of energy, Krakoa."

Just like before, the mutants were dragged away by the sentient island to drain them and keep itself strong.

Krakoa would have let me live with it even without those sacrifices but I remember Krakoa being notorious for secretly kidnapping its inhabitants and feeding on them. So, I solved the problem by providing it with enough immortals to keep it happy.

And if required I could obtain more… After all, there is no shortage of immortal mutants in the world.

Even the fact that it only feeds on beings with X-genes doesn't bother me as I have provided it with near an endless supply of food.

Yes, this was my project 'Eutopia.'

A project which ensured that the superpowered people under me could live in peace— away from racism.

I was going to make sure that such racism and marginalisation never takes place, but if anyone wanted to live in a place where it was peaceful.

Eutopia will be there for them.

And with that, that first phase of my plans was nearly coming to an end.

A few more things— and I could move onto the next phase.
