Jin stood before Kai. They were in the wide fields where farmers were supposed to use to plant more crops after having been given a fief by the Wizard. However, this field had not any plants and there were no farmers either. There were only tumbleweeds and shrubs blowing or rolling in the gusts of wind. 

The Innkeeper and Stevan were spectating from afar. This was a battle between companions over a sister. Kaylie was present as well. They had to bribe her to get her to show up as the person who would heal their injuries after the fight. 

There was still apathy in Jin's eyes. "Are you ready?"

Kai smiled. "Just some ground rules first," he folded his arms. "We're not allowed to use our abilities. Not until it's reached five minutes since the match had started."

"So what will we be using," Jin smirked.

Kai clutched his hands to the dual blades at his sides. He clutched his hands to the handles, and yanked them out of their scabbards. The blade shrieked, and when rays of sunlight hit them, they gleamed radiantly.

Jin smirked again. "Fine..."

Jin suddenly closed his hand. A dagger manifested in his palm. He squeezed as it became green then solidified. His hair blew. His eyes glowed. Finally, he whipped the dagger out.

Kai lunged toward Jin. 

Jin took the defensive route. Kai slashed at him. He sidestepped. Kai slashed with his other blade. Jin ducked. Kai quickly slashed again. Jin slashed to block. Their blades clashed and locked. Kai started exerting force onto Jin's blade.

Jin pushed his blade forward with all his might and dragged it to the left. Kai's blade was almost knocked out of his hand. He quickly dashed backward. Jin spun and slashed. Kai held his blades in the form of an 'x'. The blades clashed.

Kai quickly dashed backward. He slashed at Jin's blade. His blade hit Jin's blade—sparked—and ricocheted. Kai attacked again. Jin didn't let down his guard. Jin blocked.

Kai started attacking relentlessly. Again and again and again. Jin had to dodge and duck and block more times than he could have counted.

Jin blocked again. "You're wasting your energy." He dashed left. 

Kai dashed toward him. "Mind your own business." He slashed.

Jin dodged again. "Fine." 

Kai leaped into the air. He spun in circles while slashing as he fell. Jin dashed backward. Kai bolted toward him. Jin raised his blade in a hand hanging right. Kai slashed with both his swords. Jin retracted his sword, and quickly ducked instead.

Kai kicked Jin.

Jin dashed backward again.

Kai lunged toward him. 

Jin raised the defensive dagger. 

Kai slashed. "You haven't attacked a single time yet!"

Jin dodged. "Mhm."

Kai slashed with his other blade.

Jin leaped backward, into the air, and landed on his feet again.

Kai clenched his teeth and furrowed his brows. He bolted toward Jin once more. He thrust both his blades forward. Jin spun, dodging. He immediately attacked again. Jin leaped high into the air. Kai leaped into the air with slashes. Jin dodged midair, flipped and landed. 

Kai came soaring down from the sky.

Jin simply veered his head to the right. Kai missed.  Jin hit Kai an elbow as he fell. Kai pithed to left. He quickly got to feet while sliding and then bolted toward Jin again.

Jin dashed left. Kai attacked. Jin dashed right. Kai stacked. Kai fumed. "I've had enough of this crap!" Suddenly, a red dome appeared around him, following him. Kai started slashed at the speed of sound. Swooshes and shrieks.

Jin dashed backward but then Kai bolted toward him. Too fast. Jin raised his blade. Kai slashed many times in a single second, knocking the dagger out of Jin's hand. Kai slashed at Jin's chest thrice. Jin dashed backward again, closing his hand.

Kai lunged toward him again. Jin dodged a few times but had also gotten cut and slashed a few times. Kai smirked as he slashed relentlessly.

Kai outstretched his hands and started spinning like tornado toward Jin. His blade was a hairsbreadth away from Jin. Jin quickly vanished. He reappeared afield. 

Kai spun around and found. He started scuttling toward him.

Jin started slashing at the air. Green slashes of energy burst out and traveled toward Kai.

Kai slashed several times, blocking all of attacks while scuttling toward Jin.

Jin continue slashing.

Kai continued slashing, hitting all of the attacks before they reached him.

Jin lowered his blade as Kai pounced him.

Kai slashed swiftly. His blade went right through Jin's head. Kai clenched his teeth. The attack did no damage. 

Jin quickly thrust his blade into Kai's stomach. Kai groaned. Jin smirked. Kai raised his legs and kicked off of Jin's chest. Jin slashed at air. He flipped midair and landed on his feet. From the time he looked up, a green slash of energy hit him to his head. He groaned as he lunged toward Jin.

Jin stood stiffly as Kai assaulted him. He slashed. 

Kai slashed, hitting the energy. 

Jin lowered his blade.

Kai lunged in. When suddenly, a shockwave left Jin's body. Kai was sent pitching into the air. Jin spun, and hurled his dagger. The dagger impaled Kai's thigh. Jin closed his hand, spun, and hurled the dagger again. The dagger penetrated Kai's neck as he fell.

Jin closed his hand, and vanished. He reappeared directly below falling Kai. A shockwave emanated from his blade. It sent Kai flying across the fields.

Kai rolled on the floor. Wincing, he slowly stood. The shockwave had thrown him off. Where did that come from? Kai looked around, and hadn't found Jin. He swiftly dropped a sword, and opened his hand. A blue ball manifested in his palm. Jin appeared. Kai thrust the ball into the ground.

A giant, blue dome conjured around them. And everything in this dome wasn't even half their natural speed. Plant growth had slowed. Gravity was slightly affected. The air had slowed. And fortunately for Kai, Jin was also in this slow motion.

He was amidst his own blue dome. He slowly raised a hand. Jin's blade was swooping at him. He looked up as he blocked with the blade in his left hand. Their blades slashed. Two seconds later, there were sparks. They both retracted their blades. A red ball manifested in Kai's offhand. 

Jin slowly dashed backward in light of getting out of the blue dome. Kai slammed his hand into his chest. The red ball had exploded, and his body started to glow red. His breathing quickened. He picked up his other blade from the floor and dashed out of the dome after Jin.

Jin avoided going near the blue dome, thereby making himself stay at his natural speed. Kai, on the other hand, was much, much faster than Jin's 'natural speed'. 

Kai lunged toward Jin and slashed. Jin hand my blocked in time. He groaned. Kai slashed again. Jin stomped. Kai went pitching across the fields. But then, he bolted toward Jin again. Jin vanished and reappeared.

Kai had relocated him. He scuttled toward him again. 

A shockwave left Jin's body sent Kai pitching into the air once more. Jin slashed at the air with a barrage of attacks. The green slashed of energy hit Kai many times. He groaned. Jin spun, and hurled his dagger at Kai. The dagger impaled Kai. Jin spun, and hurled his dagger at Kai again. Kai was about to hit the ground. 

Jin reappeared below Kai, closing his hand. A shockwave knocked Kai back into the sky. 

Another Jin appeared on the other end of the field. Kai was about to hit the ground. The clone used a shockwave, knocking Kai over to Jin again. Jin also used another shockwave. This happened relentlessly. Jin and his clone played catch with Kai.

Then, Jin furrowed his brows. It was time to end this. He appeared right below Kai. Then, more than ten clones appeared next to him. Then, he vanished, leaving his clones there. Kai crashed down toward the group of clustered clones. 

Kai's eyes widened. 

Every single clone used a shockwave simultaneously. Kai's bones cracked and twisted as it propelled him into the air again. He went pitching up, almost as though he was going to touch the sky. When suddenly, Jin appeared in the sky.

Kai's body went straight for Jin.

Jin dashed downward, and thrust his dagger into Kai's chest. There was a massive explosion that knocked Kai back down toward the ground. Kai's bones broke into pieces. There was a green glow to the explosion. 

[Gamma Explosion]

Kai soared through the air as he fell. Jin appeared below him, midair. Jin thrust his dagger in an upward motion. It entered Kai's flesh.

There was an explosion more than ten times bigger than the first one. Kai's body was crushed. Jin vanished.

Jin reappeared on the surface, sauntering on his feet toward the spectators. Kai's head fell right into his hands. He kept his face stern. His eyes glowing a violent green.. A monster was in the making.
