Chapter 130: Introduction New World (9)

Julia had panicked. Dianne was unconscious in the kitchen; and Rosa was knocked down to the floor. What's more, she had seen blood. A lot of blood. Her heartbeats had escalated. Blood thundered in her ears. She suddenly felt light on her feet. Her head felt light. She had started to loose breath. Fear had brought brought horror, and the ensuing horror brought something …. else. Fueled something else. Calmly as ever, Tim slowly turned. Slowly, he started approaching her. "Look at you," Tim said, frowning, "you're just like her … my dead … daughter. So small, and scared, and innocent," he slowly carried his hand toward her. "M-maybe you … maybe you are her."Power coursed through her. Adrenaline rippling through her veins. She opened her mouth and screamed atop her lungs. Suddenly, everything around her had went thrusting away with profound might. The entire house rocked constantly. Everything was sent pitching away from her. That, unfortunately, included poor Rosa and Tim himself, who was the intended target. He was sent crashing into the kitchen counter. His head had fallen to his chest, veins appearing at his neck. "Telekinesis?" he asked, under his breath. Like a lifeless object, Rosa was sent crashing into furniture until eventually meeting a wall. Julia panted loudly, her hair hovering in the air. Then, it lowered to her back again. She quickly looked around, and alas, had turned to the door. She opened the door and ran away. ***Ford had just stopped his hammering. He hammered rather loudly, and yet, through his loud hammering, he was able to discern something else. He halted, slowly looking around.Walker, a fellow worker on the construction job site looked at him, confused. Quite strangely, Walker wore his construction helmet … backward. "What's the matter, Ford? Hands giving in already? You signed up for the hard work so there's a lot more where that came from.""Did you," Ford raised a brow, "not head that?"Walker sneered. "Hear what?""That scream," Ford said. "It was pretty loud and clear to me."Walker scoffed. "Pfft. As if you could scare a grown ass man that easily. Especially not in broad daylight.""No I'm being serious. I did actually hear a sound. It was really clear and loud … it's gotta be near. I'm sure it is."Walker averted his eyes. "It's probably just some wacky teenagers getting physical without each other or something. Why should we

care? There are homeless kids running around all the time. So it might even be possible a grown man like us is the one making her scream."Ford kept that skeptical look to his face. It sounded more like a terrified scream than one of pleasure to me, Mr. Walker.""Again," said Mr. Walker, "Why should we care? What should we do, stop working and get fired just to go run and call the cops? Because there is no way we could take the guy who made the girl scream, assuming he's got an ability. We have none. And even if we call the cops, they're just gonna start killing whoever they see. This isn't the same world we've known, Ford."Ford sighed. "I … I know.""Then let the girl die. She'll just be another insignificant one out of the millions. Oh and," Walker furrowed his brows, "GET BACK TO WORK!""G-got it!"***Tim cried. "No," he put out a hand, "wait-wait… please. You were …" he frowned, "just like her." He slowly climbed to his feet again. "I fucking hate everyone. I hate everything! Especially Ash, who clearly deserves hell. Harshness. Evil. And that I will deliver," walked over to Rosa's body. He held both her hands and started dragging her. "I have to make this worth it. I have to do things right. They must all suffer like me. Innocent, quiet me, who clearly didn't deserve any of this shit." He dragged her to the kitchen, and dropped her right next to Dianne. "He didn't listen to me … I showed him in so many ways how much I admired him. I was loyal to a monster," tears trickled down his cheeks. "What did I ever do? Why me? Why couldn't I be loved like the rest of the gang? Like Miguel or Andrew? Just why did everyone hate me?"He rubbed his eyes; starting toward the kitchen counter. He grabbed a knife, and slowly turned to Rosa and Dianne again. "Actually, this was all planned by the universe. This was my fate. To lose my family and then myself. Therefore," he furrowed his brows, "it's their fates to die as well. It's already decided that I kill the people Ash loves. Because he took mine. All I ever wanted why returned respect and love? Was that so hard to ask for?"He whipped out the knife. "Die. They must all just DIE. All of them! It's not like this world's gonna last anyway? This new fucked up world. Wasn't the old one fucked up enough?"He crouched down. "I'll kill now. I'll cut them over and over and over and over and over and over again … limb by limb. First," he grinned manically, "I'll start with the fingers. Then," he licked his lips, "the toes. The toes should be the most fun. Then, I'll gorge their pairs of eyes out. YESSSS!!" He cackled loudly. "I'll start with Dianne herself!" He separated a finger of hers, and pressed it upon the tiles. Grinning, he slowly raised his knife. He hurtled the knife down at her finger. When suddenly, he heard loud footsteps from behind. He halted; quickly turning around. He had only turned around to receive a blade right to his chest. He groaned aloud. Veins had appeared in his eyes. Noah's eyes widened; as he held the knife with both his hands. He looked down at the knife, trembling. Ultimately, he had let go of it. Slowly, Tim ascended to his feet, towering over Noah. He yanked the dagger out from his chest. "Nice knife, and nice blow, but," he glared, "you should've gone for the head."
