Legend of Infinite Mecha

: Introduction to the basic settings: the world line of the plot chapter

Each group of parallel worlds has a "main world", so two concepts were born: plot and world line.

The plot is the trend of events in the main world, and generally refers to a special period-the period of history and events that CODE needs to know when entering the world is generally the time corresponding to this plot.

In some parallel worlds, due to the unfinished progress of the main world, or when a small number of parallel worlds have just been born, there are also situations where the plot is missing or even non-existent.

In a few worlds, the plots of some other worlds seem to be projected in the form of works such as literature or video, so some CODE seems to know part of the plot before becoming CODE.

The plot also represents the general trend of events in the parallel world, but because it is a parallel world, it is not necessarily the same, but this is enough for CODE to use as a reference.

The world line is used to indicate the development trend in the world. Generally based on its natural development status, the degree of deviation under the actions of CODE and even abnormal traversers is recorded as the "world line rate of change". Increasing the rate of change of the world line may bring the ending or situation that the initiator expects (it can also be said that these changes have led to the increase of the rate of change of the world line), but it may also bring unexpected opportunities or crises. Therefore, the initiator also needs to be careful.

The world that has become a territory, due to the complete protection and intervention of the Century System, can be said to inevitably change the world line, and the general rate of change is very large.
