42. The Charm of Celebrity Larry

Translator: Ann Yi.

Larry said angrily, “Do you know that this man is mine?”

As if he was afraid that people wouldn’t understand him, Larry walked over to Frost and squeezed into his embrace.

Frost saw the amber-eyed boy in a daze. When he saw him throwing himself into his arms, he did not push him away but hugged him instead.

This made Larry very happy, and that sissy guy left feeling quite embarrassed.

Even though Larry was satisfied with Frost’s attitude towards him now, he didn’t forget that Frost had been avoiding him for two days. Whatever the reason was, Larry had to find out.

“Hi, my little sweetheart, why are you here alone?” Larry seduced Frost.

Frost saw that the person he missed had changed into a different personality; he angrily pushed Larry away and walked out.

Larry was taken aback. What exactly happened? Everything was fine just now. Why did he get so mad all of a sudden?

Something was off. There must be something that caused Frost to be hiding from him.

No, Larry had to figure it out, otherwise he wouldn’t be able to fall asleep tonight…

“Meow. Meow. (Why are you still here? Dr. Frost has run away. Why didn’t you go and chase him?)”

“I’m not even anxious about it. Why should you be anxious?” Larry suddenly laughed.

“Meow. (How ungrateful you are!)”

A teenager was having a discussion with a cat in the nightclub. Everyone found it strange. When they wanted to ask him about it, he disappeared into thin air.

When Frost returned home, he didn’t see Larry. He looked for Larry everywhere and couldn’t find him. He thought to himself, “Did the little fox leave me?”

“No… he wouldn’t.” Frost said in disbelief.

Larry wasn’t in a hurry to go back. Instead, he wandered around with Murk.

“Murk, is there a potion that can make people tell the truth after they drink it?” Larry looked at him before asking.

Murk rolled his eyes at him and meowed a few times. “Meow. Meow. Meow. (If there were a potion like that, the world would be in chaos. If the police had this kind of potion, there wouldn’t have been so many people who get wronged. And no criminals would ever escape.”

“Are you doubting my IQ or your IQ?” Larry said thoughtfully.

“Meow. Meow. (You’re not saying that Mirrocle has this kind of potion, right?)”

“Bingo! You are so smart. That’s exactly what I wanted to say.” Larry said with a smile.

And before Murk could react to it, Larry quickly ran in the direction of Mirrocle’s house.

“You go in there first to explore for me.” Larry said as he placed Murk on the ground.

Murk was unhappy. “(Don’t you think it’ll take us half the effort if you go in there directly? Come on. That idiot is your avid fan. Whatever you want, just name it. He would let you have it even if you want his life.)”

Why did Larry feel that Murk sounded a bit jealous when he said that?

Could it be that Murk liked Mirrocle?

If that was the case, it would be big news. Who would have thought that Murk would like someone he usually hated?

Larry knew Murk wouldn’t do as he said so he knocked on the door.

When Mirrocle opened the door, he saw a boy with amber eyes. Before he realized who he was, he saw Murk and reached out to hold him.

He looked at Murk as if he was a pampered baby and said, “Where did you go these days, you little naughty cat?”

“Meow. (It’s none of your business.)”

Mirrocle didn’t understand what Murk was saying, and he yawned at the same time when Murk meowed.

Larry translated, “Murk just said something to you.”

“What did he say?” Mirrocle looked at Larry excitedly.

“It’s none of your business.”

“Haha, it’s not surprising that he would say something like that.” Mirrocle smiled and scratched his head.

Last time Larry saw how the two of them interacted with each other. It turned out that Mirrocle cherished Murk so much, which meant that Murk was very important to him and that Mirrocle couldn’t live without Murk.

It was just that the two of them weren’t aware of that.

“I need to ask for your favor. Can I go inside and have a talk with you?” Larry didn’t want to waste any time, so just he got to the point.

“Oh!” With the pressure of Murk’s staring, Mirrocle opened the door and let them in.

Larry asked, “Do you have a potion that can make people speak the truth when they drink it?”“

“No.” Mirrocle said without hesitation.

Larry lowered his head in disappointment.

Murk couldn’t stand it anymore. He said, “Meow, Meow. (Little fox, don’t believe what he said. He definitely has a potion like that. He just doesn’t want to give it to you. Tell him that you are Larry. He will definitely give it to you immediately.”

Larry didn’t believe that his name would be so useful, but he still gave it a try. “Hello, my name is Larry.”“

“Ah!” Mirrocle jumped up in surprise and hurriedly ran to his bedroom.

A while later, when he came out, he was well-dressed up.

Larry caressed his nose uncomfortably and continued to ask, “Do you have a potion with that function?”

“Well, I…Why do you need it anyways?”

“Meow. Meow. (Why do you have so many questions? Just give it to him! And don’t ask more questions.)”

Murk was suddenly unhappy.

Mirrocle noticed it too, but he couldn’t understand what Murk was saying. He looked at Larry for help.

“Why do you have so many questions? Just give it to him. And stop asking questions!” Larry repeated Murk’s words resignedly.

This time, Mirrocle didn’t hesitate at all. He took out the potion and gave it to Larry.

After Larry got the potion, he didn’t want to stay here anymore. “Thank you. It’s getting late, I’m going back.”

“Meow. Meow. (Take me with you. Take me with you.)”

Murk didn’t want to stay either because he was too sad.

“He says that he doesn’t want to stay here anymore. He wants to leave you.” Larry told Mirrocle.

Mirrocle suddenly became overbearing and he held Murk tightly. He didn’t want him to leave.

Larry left without any sympathy.

When he returned, he smelled the heavy smell of alcohol the moment he entered the living room. When he walked in, he saw Frost lying by the sofa.

This was the first time Larry saw Frost like this. As far as he knew, Frost was a clean freak. How could he make himself so messy? This was unprecedented.

“Hey!” Larry walked to his side and crouched down.

Larry didn’t know if Frost heard it or didn’t hear it.

Larry was going to carry out his plan. Just as Larry was about to get up, someone grabbed his hand and he fell down.

“Ah!” Larry covered his face reflexively.

When he realized what had just happened, he found out that he was in Frost’s arms.
