From previous years, the freezing period of the sea will be maintained until the beginning of spring. I’m afraid that the zombies in the urban area will come to the island through the ice surface.”

During Han Chi’s speech, he caught a glimpse of Secretary Zhang raising his hand to look at his watch two or three times, as if he was in a hurry.

The meeting these days is also to implement this matter.  Professor Han can rest assured that the mayor will not joke about the lives of the whole island.”

“I know that, what I mean is that it’s not so safe to only arrange for personnel to stand guard. I think we can put explosives on the ice on the border of the island. If a large number of zombies come at that time, we can directly ignite the explosives and blow up the ice. In that way, we can provide more time for our safe evacuation.”

If you are saying that they will come to the island with a purpose, the probability is very small, and Professor Han does not need to worry too much.”     

“But as the ancients said, if there is no foresight, there will be immediate worries. My suggestion is only to add an extra layer of insurance to the lives of the people on the island. Besides, it is not troublesome to install explosives at the island boundary. No matter how careful you are, you can’t be too careful.”

Seeing that Han Chi was so tangled, Secretary Zhang was too lazy to argue with him again and said perfunctorily, “Well, Professor Han is right. You can’t be too careful about this kind of thing. Professor Han, don’t worry, I’ll convey your suggestion to the mayor.” 

After speaking, Secretary Zhang looked at his watch again, presumably showing a very anxious look.     

Han Chi was also a sensible person, knowing that Secretary Zhang didn’t want to listen to him anymore, and it was inconvenient to speak directly, he took the initiative to give Secretary Zhang a step down, “Secretary Zhang, are you in a hurry?”     

Secretary Zhang nodded and said, “Yes, there have been too many meetings recently, and there are too many things that need to be arranged before and after. If Professor Han has nothing else to say, I’ll take my leave.”

Han Chi nodded, “Secretary Zhang must convey my words to the mayor. It would be great if Mayor Sun had time to see me.”

As for whether the mayor has time to see you, it also depends on the mayor. As you know, there is a major event coming, and the mayor is also very busy.”

Han Chi did not speak for a while after hearing that. Secretary Zhang was afraid that he would entangle him again, so he hurriedly made an excuse to leave.
