He didn’t dare to walk in rashly. He was worried that as soon as he pushed the door open, the zombie would pounce on him, which would give him a heart attack. “Director Ji, why is the lock in the office broken?” Secretary Liu stared at the lock on the office door and asked in surprise.     

“Yeah, I was just wondering about that. It was just like this when I came here in the morning. Fortunately, the important documents in the office are not lost. Secretary Liu, please arrange for a locksmith to repair it as soon as possible.”     

“Well, okay.” Secretary Liu thought about it, then said, “Director Ji, do you want me to go to the Armed Forces Department and get the surveillance video of the ninth floor?”

Although Ji Hongyi said that, he had another idea in his heart. The night before the previous day, he secretly adjusted the angle of the camera on the ninth floor. The angle of the camera couldn’t capture the corridor at all.

“By the way, Secretary Liu, go to the downstairs laboratory and get a clean test tube and straw,” Ji Hongyi glanced at the water stains on the ground and said.

Secretary Liu nodded and went downstairs immediately, and came up after a while, holding a test tube and a straw in a plastic bag.

Ji Hongyi took the plastic bag, squatted down, used a straw to suck up the remaining water on the ground, moved it to the test tube, and put the stopper of the test tube into the plastic bag.

After explaining the matter, Ji Hongyi took the elevator to the fifth floor. In order to reassure himself, he still had to go to Han Chi’s laboratory. Although it was unlikely to happen, he personally wanted to confirm that Han Chi was not there.

He came to Han Chi’s laboratory and found that there was only a female researcher in the laboratory.
