The holy light embraced Lu Changsheng and Xuan Xin.

A golden piece of Kasaya1 emerged. It was called the Eight-treasure Glazed Kasaya, considered the top treasure of Buddhism. The Kasaya was embroidered with ancient sutras and could protect the wearer.

This was the reward for Xuan Xin from Buddha.

Xuan Xin had now completely awakened and grasped Mahayana Buddhism.

As he bathed in the holy light, Lu Changsheng’s body transformed. He had been given the purest body in Buddhism.

While this was happening, endless purple air poured into Lu Changsheng’s body.

Yin and Yang reached the peak of balance. The halo of Buddhism and Daoism joined together as they formed the pattern of Taiji.

Lu Changsheng’s body reconstructed itself into something completely different.

“This is… The Ultimate Body of Innate Yin and Yang!” A leader from the Saint Land of Yin and Yang exclaimed.

“Isn’t this the one of the strongest constitutions ever in history?!”

“What? I thought it only existed in legends!”

“The Ultimate Body of Innate Yin and Yang? It’s also commonly known as the Constitution of Dao, the third most powerful constitution on the list! It’s only a step away from the Deficient Constitution of Chaos! Just above it is the top constitution; the Perfect Constitution of Chaos!”

“The Lord of Boundless Heavens! I’m so blessed to see this with my own eyes!”

“Yin and Yang reached the perfect harmony within Changsheng’s body. He’s extremely close to the ultimate Dao. If he takes a further step, he’ll have the Constitution of Chaos! His name will be remembered throughout the course of history!”

“The Lord of Boundless Heavens! Daoism will thrive for another a hundred thousand years because of Lu Changsheng!”

As the audience looked at Lu Changsheng, their eyes were filled with admiration. They had sheer admiration and respect for him, there wasn’t even a tiny bit of envy.

Theoretically speaking, they should have envied Changsheng for his marvelous talents, however, this didn’t happen at all, it was as if they all agreed that Lu Changsheng deserved everything he received today.

Perhaps it was because of Lu Changsheng’s appearance and demeanor.

At this time.

The endless halo started shimmering again.

If looked at afar.

Zenith Heaven looked incredibly beautiful as the sacred holy light of Buddhism bathed it.

At this time, someone suddenly shouted out, “Can you see that? What’s under Senior Brother Changsheng’s feet?”

Upon hearing this exclamation, the audience immediately looked at Lu Changsheng’s feet.

A gold lotus platform slowly emerged under Lu Changsheng.

This was another top treasure in Buddhism, only the most profound person could have it.

The gold lotus platform engraved with ancient sutras slowly raised Lu Changsheng into the air.

The formidable purple air poured into the platform as if it was resisting the power of Buddha.

In an instant, the color of the lotus platform turned cyan. Mysterious voices that were chanting sutras came from nowhere.

“The level-twelve Cyan Lotus!” When the lotus fully took form, more exclamations quickly followed.

Lotus platforms were divided into different levels: three, six, nine, and twelve.

A level-twelve lotus platform could avoid all disasters and even stop karma. Its abilities were incredible!

The cyan lotus platform under Lu Changsheng’s feet was one that reached level-twelve.

It meant that Lu Changsheng possessed great insight, wisdom, perseverance, extraordinariness, and remarkable power.

In the eyes of Buddhist monks, this was the most remarkable treasure one could receive.

In the small Leiyin Temple, the four Great Monk Masters only had level-six lotus platforms. It was of a different color compared to Lu Changsheng’s, his lotus platform looked rather special as compared to theirs.

As this happened, a level-nine lotus platform appeared under Xuan Xin’s feet.

All of a sudden, an ancient voice came from the deepest parts of the western desert.

“Xuan Xin, you have already awakened. Now that you have learned Mahayana Buddhism, the task of promoting it to save all living beings in the world is your duty.”

This was the will of Buddha. In the air, a huge projection of Buddha transpired all, looking rather awe-inspiring.

“Changsheng, you’re the Mentor to All Buddhist Monks. You have great insight, wisdom, perseverance, extraordinariness, and remarkable power. From today, all Buddhist monks should pay their greatest respects to Lu Changsheng by bowing and kowtowing to him,” the will of Buddha continued.

Lu Changsheng was now the Mentor to All Buddhist Monks, the glory he received was immeasurable.

Despite all this, Lu Changsheng still remained rather calm.

He was a cultivator. He didn’t need this title and the lotus platform under his feet.

Honestly speaking, apart from its appearance, Lu Changsheng didn’t really like it.

His ideal vehicles for powerful cultivators were legendary, ferocious animals.

That included Qilin, the White Tiger, the Vermilion Bird, the Black Tortoise, the Dragon, the nine sons of the Dragon King, and such. At the very least it had to be a jade gourd, or maybe a famous legendary sword.

But since it was for free, Lu Changsheng didn’t really mind accepting it.

“Mentor!” Xuan Xin knelt down again and kowtowed to Lu Changsheng.

Meanwhile, all the monks in the western desert knelt down.

“Respect to Mentor!” They kowtowed in an extremely respectful manner, regardless of their status.

“Since you’ve learned the truth, it’s time for you to go back.” Even though Lu Changsheng’s tone was calm, but in fact, he was actually quite still worried. What if Xuan Xin wanted a fight after the debate?

What could Lu Changsheng use to fight?

Use his abilities in the Qi Refining stage?

“Mentor, I want to follow you and keep listening to your instructions,” Xuan Xin said.

Because Lu Changsheng stopped reciting the sutras halfway. Xuan Xin was eager to learn about the rest.

Follow me?

Lu Changsheng shook his head as he looked at Xuan Xin.

“The rest of the sutras aren’t with me. Following me around isn’t going to give you anything,” Lu Changsheng responded.

Xuan Xin asked out of curiosity, “Then… where is the rest of it?”

“It’s on the road.”

“Where is the road?”

“You’re too infatuated!

“You’re still obsessed!” Lu Changsheng scolded him twice.

Then, he sighed before answering Xuan Xin, “The road is under your feet.”

To make Xuan Xin leave as early as possible, Lu Changsheng continued to look very amiable. He walked towards Xuan Xin, once he reached him, he gave the latter a gentle stroke on the head. Upon finding his head a bit prickly, Lu Changsheng withdrew his hand.

The road was under his feet?

Xuan Xin was stunned for a moment, after a brief lapse of silence, he then understood.

“Thank you, Mentor! Thank you for teaching me! I understand now!” Xuan Xin’s heart was filled with joy. He stood up and then bowed to the audience in the hall with his hands folded.

“I came all the way here as my sins kept piling because of the deep obsessiveness in my mind, this turned into a cleaver and hurt many people. Today, Mentor has enlightened me and helped me jump out of the karma. I hope that I can be forgiven for what I have done. I’ll pledge to do a hundred good deeds everyday to compensate for the trouble I’ve caused,” Xuan Xin’s apology was very sincere.

Many young cultivators folded their hands. They agreed to forgive Xuan Xin.

After this, Xuan Xin left Zenith Heaven and set off to find the remaining sutras for Mahayana Buddhism.

This was the end of the debate.

The result was rather good.

“Our mighty Senior Brother!” Someone suddenly exclaimed.

And then, the crowd started to chant, “Our mighty Senior Brother!”

“Our mighty Senior Brother!”

“Our mighty Senior Brother!”

The deafening cries almost brought the palace down.

The debate was truly brilliant. Lu Changsheng lived up to all the expectations anticipated of him, it was even more so than they imagined.

His victory was genuinely glorious.

At this time, a weak voice suddenly cut in, “Shouldn’t there be a fight?”

The others immediately retorted, “Fight? Are you kidding us? Eldest Senior Brother is only half step from ascending to the celestial world.”

“That’s right! I was told that Senior Brother Changsheng is ascending very soon. Xuan Xin is far from being Eldest Senior Brother’s rival!”

“I see! Senior Brothers, you’re all right!”

“Save the whispers for later. Let’s celebrate Senior Brother’s victory first!”

The discussion was immediately put to an end as all of the audience continued to chant, “Our mighty Senior Brother!”
