"I'm just going to tell my wife that she has been conscious for several months."

Fernan was a belated reply.  From the beginning, he had no intention of explaining everything that had happened to Julia.

She ran away from this castle, and she settled in a new place, and for various reasons she returned to him……  Then it got to this point.

Reminding her of everything she had done in the past two years was nothing good for Julia.

Even if she wanted to leave him again after knowing everything about her, he had no choice now.

Wherever she goes outside, the eyes of the emperor will reach her immediately.  By now, he must be on high alert and watched the woman Fernan stole from the temple.

“Yeah, if you do, I’ll make sure to match your words.”

Kalosa, who looked at his serious face, replied that he would graciously cooperate.

Fernan nodded his head lightly.  First of all, this was the best.

“…  I was unconscious for three months?”

It was the next morning that Julia found out about her condition.

The maid, who bowed her head in front of her, answered with a quick glance.

“Yes. That’s why you have to meet the High Priest regularly to take your medicine.”

Julia let out a gasp as if she still couldn't believe it.

But she knew that the maid wasn't lying.

This was because, in her memory, the world that spanned spring and summer had turned into a completely reddish autumn in one day.

Julia suddenly raised her gaze and looked at the maid in front of her.  It was definitely the first time she had ever seen her.  Not only this maid, but all the servants in the castle had changed.

Moreover, Melissa, who was her full-time maid, said she had resigned a few months ago and had gone down to her hometown.  For Julia, it felt like only a day had passed, but in the meantime, so many things had changed.

 Knock. Knock.

Then someone knocked on the door.

While Julia was clearing her messy head, her maid ran and opened the door.

“Grand Duchess, the priests have come.”

At that, Julia turned and looked at the door.

An old man and a young man entered through the open door.

It was the priests who had been treating her until now.

 “How are you feeling?”

The old man who was walking to the table asked her.

"You must have been surprised that the world suddenly changed, because you haven't woken up for that long."

Julia gave a small reply to the words that saw through my confusion.

 "Yes……  ”

“It’s hard to say that you’ve been cured yet, so you’ll have to keep seeing me.  You have to keep taking your medicine.”

The voice of the old man that followed was crude, yet strangely soft.

About the time she thought that the voice was strangely unfamiliar, Julia made eye contact with the young man who came in with the old man.

His pale green eyes faintly distorted as soon as they met hers.

His expression seemed somehow distressed, so Julia tilted her head with a puzzled face.

 “Come on, please sit down.”

At the call of the old man, Julia, who had finally removed her gaze from the young man, slowly sat down in front of the table.

“Can you give me her hand?”

As Julia meekly reached out her hand, the old man scattered a faint light from his fingers on her palm.

Julia opened her mouth slightly for an instant at the strange sight.

It was the first time she had ever seen the power she had only heard of right in front of her eyes.

The old man, who glanced at her twinkling eyes, even forgetting the confusion, opened his mouth to explain.

“It is to absorb power and sense the changes in your body.”

 "Ah……  ”

Perhaps because of the explanation, Julia could vaguely feel the energy of the holy power flowing through her body.

She asked cautiously while the old man folded his arms and assessed Julia's condition.

“By the way……  What caused me to collapse?”

Julia has been thinking that she has no chronic disease. So it was very sudden for her that she couldn't wake up for a long time, a whole season.

The old man lowered his gaze slightly, then lifted it up again and responded indifferently.

“You had a heart problem.  You can think of it as an acute attack or something like that.”

 “…my heart?”

Julia asked back with her eyes wide open.

It was surprising that she had a heart problem, and it was an acute attack, which was not expected at all.  Of course, she could not say that she had good physical strength.  When she was young, she was often sick.

However, she could not see a doctor at will, except for severe symptoms that stood out.  Because the Marquis would not allow it.

She didn't even know she had a proper medical checkup, so she didn't even know she had a heart problem that she didn't even know she had.

While Julia narrowed her brow with a serious look, the old man's words continued.

“It was pretty dangerous. You managed to survive because you met a capable priest.”

The old man shrugged his shoulders as he crossed his arms.

Julia raised her distant gaze and looked at him.

Although she still didn’t feel real, that didn’t mean she didn't believe it.  Her world changed overnight after waking up.

And this priest in front of her saved her.  As Julia was about to open her mouth, the old man raised his hand and stopped her from speaking.

"Give thanks to your husband, not me. It's the tenacious man who recklessly brought me here to save his wife."

 “… ”

Julia's eyes soon filled with doubts and twitched slowly.

Fernan went looking for the priest to save her….

It was such an unbelievable sentence that for a moment she felt like it didn't make sense.

Still, her heart instinctively began to tremble little by little.

 ‘His Highness, for me…  ’

Julia clasped her hands while biting her trembling lips.

Meanwhile, the young man, who had only been standing silently next to the old man, opened his mouth for the first time.

“…  Do you remember anything about what happened before you fell?”

Julia, who had her head slightly bowed, raised her eyes and looked at the young man.

Just like when she first met his eyes, the man still had a somewhat anxious and distressed face.

Perhaps it was her mood that caused Julia to feel that the man was somehow familiar.

Then, Julia slowly opened her lips.

 “No, not at all.”

 “…I see.”

The young man, who lowered his eyes, murmured hopelessly.

As she looked at him quietly, the old man spat out in an indifferent tone.

“When you’re healed completely, your memories will automatically come back.  Don't worry too much."

After saying those words, the old man took a small bottle out from his pocket and placed it on the table.

It was filled with things like pearls of red color.

“First of all, take only one pill today. If you overdo it, you will get sick, so take this medicine only when I visit.”

She thought it was a strangely shaped drug, but Julia nodded her head obediently.

Her maid, standing by her side, brought her a glass of water.

After confirming that Julia had swallowed one of the pills, the old man slowly got up from his seat.

“If you have any problems, find me right away, and then I’ll see you later.”

After moving his stiff shoulders a few times, the old man turned his body and crossed the bedroom.

Julia, who got up at the same time, followed them together to see them off.

As she approached the door, Julia met the young man's eyes again.

As she hesitated, the young man bowed to her with a complicated look.

As they did, they walked down the hallway.  Julia watched their backs as they left.

Halfway through the hallway, the man suddenly looked back at her.

But by that time, Julia had already entered the bedroom.

 “…ha."

A gloomy energy descended over the green eyes.

Cedric, who was unable to leave the castle due to concerns about Julia's condition, felt as if he had been confirmed killed a while ago.

Although he knew she lost her memory, Cedric was in fact unable to give up his feeble hope.

He thought that if he made eye contact with her and talked to her, she would remember him, but again, Julia did not recognize him at all.

‘…  If I stayed here longer, there would be no benefit to Julia.'

Currently, the only thing Julia remembered was her husband, the Grand Duke.  But Cedric couldn't take his steps at ease.  What was important was Julia's heart.

She may have lost her memory now, forgetting all her feelings, but he wasn't sure if she would want to stay here if her memories returned.

Cedric clenched his fists. So, he was going to wait even if she didn't recognize him.

May all her memories come back.
