I Will Conquer The World!

The three other kings had their jaws drop as they looked at their ancestor with absolute horror.

The king of Veolomid realized that he had severely underestimated the humans. Not only had he underestimated their power, he had also underestimated their ruthlessness and overestimated their desire for money.

He had not expected that the humans would be so powerful to successfully win the battle against the witch kingdom, let alone successfully annihilate their army and then their whole kingdom. And add that to their sudden ruthless behavior.

After all, a kingdom being massacred was extremely rare. Normally, the citizens of the kingdom that was conquered would be made into slaves. Considering the witches beauty, they could be made into valuable slaves. While killing them was more merciful than condemning them to a life of slavery and s*xual abuse, it was still not in line with the humans' money grubby nature.

After all, they released war prisoners for godd*mn money! They were basically just releasing future enemies for temporary gains!

If the demons actually united and used all of their forces to battle the witches, they should be able to defeat them. But, the problem was that they were not united.

Out of the four demon kingdoms, the kings of two kingdoms desired peace, and would only defend themselves if someone attacked them.

The witches too would not really bother to attack them, as they were not the main problem that they had to get rid off.

The witches aimed to first get rid off the other two demon kingdoms, Veolomid and Duigruzar. The kings of these two kingdoms actively attacked them.

They wanted to expand and gain more powers. If both Veolomid and Duigruzar attacked the witch kingdoms together, they should probably put up a strong offense against the individual witch kingdoms, and be able to fight the two witch kingdoms if they battled together on equal terms without having a disadvantage or advantage.

The grand ancestor of the demons did not usually get involved in these matters.

If not for the king of Duigruzar calling for an emergency meeting which made the grand ancestor look in to the humans more, they probably would have fought with the humans as individual kingdoms, causing their eventual destruction.

The kings of the other two demon kingdoms on the other hand, did not know what to feel.

They were utterly shocked and slightly scared, but that was it. But, a question now appeared in their heads.

'Would the humans accept peace?'

The king of Allmamath raised the question that popped up in his head, thus breaking the silence that was enveloping the room.

"Grand ancestor, will the humans accept our offering of peace?", he asked.

The grand ancestor smiled and said, "I cannot say that I am a hundred percent sure that they will accept our peace offering. But… it is very likely they will if the whole demon realm offers peace, that is, all four of you agree for peace."

[Author sighs and says, "Editor - san, gimme some more ideas... what do I do?! I have got to somehow increase the word count. Like give me a good idea, won't you? All you do is complain all day about this and that. Gimme an idea and prove that your useful and not just a baggage who keeps remarking that the male lead is too cruel when this is supposed to be a story that has an 'anti hero mc' tag!"

The editor growled, "I don't complain unreasonably! Some of the things you add are so unreasonable! But I'll excuse that as this story is supposed to have an evil male lead. But now, you've taken it too far in the rewrite. I mean for goodness's sake, four children who are cannibals?! The leader of the holy church is evil?! I mean come on! You also told me that you plan to make most of the characters lay in the gray area!"

The author sighed and said, "I have no time for arguing over petty matters like these with you Editor - san. Just give me an idea to increase the word count. Nothing less, nothing more."

The Editor put his chin in his hand and entered deep thinking mode and says, "I have an idea, but isn't increasing the word count like this cheating the readers? And also, start appreciating your editor more. I'm doing this for free you know?"

Author sighs and says, "Of course not. I'll be writing the rewritten version too right? So they'll get double the content if they unlock this one chapter. The first one being the old version one and then the new one with cannibalism and all." 

He completely ignored what the editor said about appreciating him more.

Editor smiles and says, "Well that's more fair I guess. So, maybe you can add a long lengthy authors note that you remove when you write the rewritten version?"

Author smiles guilty, "Yes... that's the only way. I'll definitely remove it afterwards and give them quality stuff... I mean I'm forced to do this now because I have boards, [a very important test in India ] , and have to prepare for it while preparing for the monthly exams they keep... so I'm not really free till June 10th."

Editor whistles, "Damn. That's a long time from now."

"I know, but I have these monthly tests to prepare for, and like boards are considered like a divine test in India. There are students who suicide upon failing them and all.", the author says while sighing.]

Please read the story from the start again. I'm rewriting it. I assure you it'll be good (pats chest). Like I'm including stuff like a secret group of assassins for Harry, and all. I'm also thinking of including a function like scope of personality that will give him powers to examine all his citizens and kill those who are not loyal [Grins evilly and scarily.]

Gimme your Power Stones, please! I'm not getting many good features, and it may help if I enter the top 200. The 199th novel has like 380 Power stones, so gimme 400!

The last time I checked, a piracy website was letting people read my first 59 free chapters, which were of the old version. Yeah also since I rewrote the first fifty nine chapters, you can just read them. If you like that version, then follow it, or just follow this old version. But I have to warn you, in that version, Robinson and Lauren are killed by Harry, three new characters are introduced, and Harry is much, much more scheming.

I admit, this is not the best book. But, I am trying my best to at least make it into a memorable experience for all you readers.
