I Will Conquer The World!

Harry grinned demonically as he said, "Really? Why can't I see your system? You have no system, YOU LIAR!"

The masked figure's eyes widened under her mask. 'H- How did he know?', she thought.

Harry smiled softly as he said words that were dripping with sarcasm. "No reply? What happened? Won't you say now that the gods used to play with you when you were a child? Or maybe something like your system went for a vacation and your waiting for it to return?"

The sarcasm was so obvious that it was not even hidden by Harry. I mean seriously, who would say that the gods were their childhood friends. And how the hell can a system go for a vacation?

The masked figure said in a solemn voice, "Child, you do not realize who you are talking with. I really am the master of the great system Feryliuy. How do you know I am not? I had conquered around 50 worlds in my peak. But due to an incident, I lost all those worlds to another conqueror. Let me live and I'll help you in conquering those 50 worlds. I still have a lot of connections with the big shots of those worlds. I can for sure lead a revolution."

She tried her best to sound genuine, as she was mixing a truth with a lie. She 'had' a system, but it wasn't Feryliuy. She had heard of the system which called itself Feryliuy. Apparently it had taken control over it's host to an uncanny state and made him disrupt the order of the worlds. The gods had to come down personally to kill it's host and destroy the system.

But, the gods had immense losses as they lost two gods to the clutches of the void due to the system user. 

After that, the gods decided to take measures to curb threats like Feryliuy, and assigned one god to supervise each ten system users. The gods assigned to supervise the system users were generally amateurs who opted voluntarily to gain some credit.

But, it is true that she did conquer 50 worlds in her peak. But it was not an achievement worthy of bragging. There were system users who have conquered 1000's of worlds.

The incident occurred just when she started gaining momentum. 

She was taking a gamble on this one. She sincerely hoped that the boy in front of her was just a newbie who still did not know about the system wars. She hoped that he was atleast slightly naïve and gullible.

'50 worlds?!', Harry thought with surprise. That was actually a large amount.

[No host, it isn't. Once you conquer a few worlds, gain a large army and proper technology, worlds aren't that hard to conquer. The hard bit is snatching the worlds from properly established system users who most of the times have larger armies and better technology. Don't leave a potential threat alive for a few worlds.]

Harry fell in deep thought. He had expected that there would be more system users, but he did not expect that he would have to snatch worlds from them.

He finally decided that what the system said was correct and lifted his sword, ready to kill the masked figure, when the masked figure felt her heart beat fast as she came up with a proposal that should make him leave her alive.

"I'll help you gain complete control over your system!", she shouted.

"Complete control?", Harry asked, stopping his sword mid slash.

"Yes! Yes! Don't you hate it that your system doesn't let you kill anyone? You always have to be peaceful! Isn't that not fair?", she tried her best to tempt him. What she said wasn't a lie. Her system didn't allow her to kill absolutely anyone else other than the soldiers of the other army during her conquest of other kingdoms and worlds. She couldn't kill the soldiers that she captured too. They were treated as wartime prisoners by the system and she had to treat them well.

Hell, she couldn't even kill spies that betrayed her kingdom! She could only imprison them. 

She thought that as long as the dude wasn't a guy who loved peace, he would definitely agree with her.

Harry on the other hand, was thinking. It is true that the system was quite strict in terms of killing in the start, but as time went on, it softened up, and now it even encouraged him to kill. There was no need for him to risk trusting this random woman who he just met and was extremely dangerous to control his system when it freely let him kill.

Harry smiled as he came to the decision of not risking it and lifted his sword. Without delaying anything, he slashed it down at her neck, not giving her any more chances to blabber and try to trick him.

JUST REREAD FROM THE START! The story follows a different plotline this time and also has a different pace. SO JUST DO IT! [Shouts and growls madly like a beast]

[Author sighs and says, "Editor - san, gimme some more ideas... what do I do?! I gotta increase the word count.

Editor puts his chin in his hand and enters deep thinking mode and says, "I have an idea, but isn't increasing the word count like this cheating the readers?"

Author sighs and says, "Of course not. I'll be writing the rewritten version too right? So they'll get double the content if they unlock this one chapter. The first one being the old version one and then the new one with cannibalism and all."

Editor smiles and says, "Well that's more fair I guess. So, maybe you can add a long lengthy authors note that you remove when you write the rewritten version?"

Author smiles guilty, "Yes... that's the only way. I'll definitely remove it afterwards and give them quality stuff... I mean I'm forced to do this now because I have boards, [a very important test in India ] , and have to prepare for it while preparing for the monthly exams they keep... so I'm not really free till June 10th."

Editor whistles, "Deym. That's a long time from now."

"I know, but I have these monthly tests to prepare for, and like boards are considered like a divine test in India. There are students who suicide upon failing them and all.", the author says while sighing.]

Please read the story from the start again. I'm rewriting it. I assure you it'll be good (pats chest). Like I'm including stuff like a secret group of assassins for Harry, and all. I'm also thinking of including a function like scope of personality that will give him powers to examine all his citizens and kill those who are not loyal [Grins evilly and scarily.]
