And like this, both of them were scheming against each other without one knowing that the other was plotting against them. It is kind of funny and very ironic if you think about it.

Like this, the days passed, with the old man making his barrier which will assist him in making the system user his slave. One fine day, he received a message from the system user that she had spotted a few humans.

The old man was delighted upon hearing this news because of two reasons. One, the life sources of the humans can give him an enormous amount of mana if he refined them. 

Two, this showed that the spells he casted on the system user were effective. She was starting to become his loyal servant without knowing it herself.

She could have not bothered to tell him about the humans. Frankly speaking, she really did not need to. She could have just killed them and given him one human's mana core.

But, unknowingly, she told him that a few humans had entered the cave. This showed that her mind was beginning to show loyalty towards him and treat him like her master.

He had to thank her for calling him 'master' when she freed him. He really did not know why she called him that. Maybe her sense of humor was really bad, or maybe she was just sarcastic, but due to her calling him that, he had come up with this ingenious idea.

He felt proud of himself and was continuing to make the barrier. After making a bit of the barrier, he was suddenly struck with the urge to examine the auras present in the whole cave. He wanted to see how many humans were there, and if there were any females among them.

It had been ages since he had enjoyed a female... he desperately wanted to f**k a b**ch.

So, he spread out his aura throughout the whole cave, using a subtle aura detection spell that will not trigger the senses of the person being examined, as he did not know if there were any strong mages or 'witches' as they called among the human group.

It would be disastrous if he accidentally alerted one of the humans. Even though the masked figure was considerably more loyal to him now, that did not assure that she would not punish him if he messed up.

He examined the whole cave system, and at the start found two women. One of them had a quite powerful aura radiating from her, while the other had a mediocre aura radiating from her.

He was quite tempted to see how they looked, and thus he made quite a risky move and used a vision spell, which allowed him to see the women's figure. 

As soon as he saw them though, he felt himself drooling. He had a raging boner.

They were absolutely gorgeous!

He wanted to go and literally f**k them right now. He was about to contact the masked figure, requesting her to bring one back alive when he suddenly felt a powerful wave of energy threaten his very essence of being.

He immediately stopped the aura detection spell as he stood there silently, sweating profusely.

'T- that was just a tracking s- spell! W- why is it s- so powerful?!", he thought.

He had no more thoughts over the girls or any kind of lust clouding his mind. 

After waiting for a minute, he immediately examined the rest of the cave and found one aura which completely shocked him.

He felt his heart lurch as soon as he detected that aura. It was of a system users.

It was not exactly like the masked figures. The masked figures was different from all the species he knew, but always felt broken and lacking, as if it was just a piece of it's original self.

The aura that he had detected now had the same traces to it like the masked figures, suggesting that it was of a system users, only it felt complete and powerful. It felt extremely oppressive. 

The old man felt his throat go dry while his heart started beating rapidly. He immediately contacted the masked figure through his mind link and shouted to her, 'I FOUND THE AURA OF A SYSTEM USER! COME BACK QUICKLY!'

After he did that, the first thing he did was calm himself. He took deep breaths in and out and sat down. He thought about his discovery with rapt attention.

The aura that he felt was extremely different from the masked figures, yet similar in a way.

Just who was this masked figure? He was sure that she wasn't a system user.

Just when he felt a headache coming up due to all the questions that he had suddenly wanted to know the answers off, the masked figure came running into the core of the cave through one of the tunnels.

As soon as he saw her, he felt the urge to joke with her a bit and said after groaning a bit, "Why did you take so long...? I called you ages ago. Yeah now massage my legs for me."

He smiled brightly when he felt her raging anger through the mental link that they had voluntarily established amongst themselves.

[Author sighs and says, "Editor - san, gimme some more ideas... what do I do?! I gotta increase the word count.

Editor puts his chin in his hand and enters deep thinking mode and says, "I have an idea, but isn't increasing the word count like this cheating the readers?"

Author sighs and says, "Of course not. I'll be writing the rewritten version too right? So they'll get double the content if they unlock this one chapter. The first one being the old version one and then the new one with cannibalism and all."

Editor smiles and says, "Well that's more fair I guess. So, maybe you can add a long lengthy authors note that you remove when you write the rewritten version?"

Author smiles guilty, "Yes... that's the only way. I'll definitely remove it afterwards and give them quality stuff... I mean I'm forced to do this now because I have boards, [a very important test in India ] , and have to prepare for it while preparing for the monthly exams they keep... so I'm not really free till June 10th."

Editor whistles, "Deym. That's a long time from now."

"I know, but I have these monthly tests to prepare for, and like boards are considered like a divine test in India. There are students who suicide upon failing them and all.", the author says while sighing.]

Please read the story from the start again. I'm rewriting it. I assure you it'll be good (pats chest). Like I'm including stuff like a secret group of assassins for Harry, and all. I'm also thinking of including a function like scope of personality that will give him powers to examine all his citizens and kill those who are not loyal [Grins evilly and scarily.]
