Episode 69 – I’ll Take It From Here

The next day, school was off, but I was able to meet with Iori. Of course, I was going to talk about Aika. It was the first time I had met with Iori on a day off since our date, and I was supposed to go to Iori’s house today.

I did what she asked me to do and went to her house.

She also told me that I shouldn’t respond to Aika’s feelings.

The declaration of war was issued separately, but……

I secretly thought of asking [I want to continue.] well, that’s my ulterior motive.

Well, putting my ulterior motives aside, I rushed to Iori, who was probably waiting for my report.　

When I pressed the doorbell, I was greeted by Iori. Gaku san and Kaori san were picking up an old musician friend today, so it was just the two of us for now. This could be my chance !? I was too much of a snob to think of this as a good opportunity.

After being guided to Iori’s room and getting comfortable, I told her about yesterday’s events.

–“I see….I understand how you feel, she’s pretty selfish.”

“Yeah…but, I can’t blame Aika for supporting me when I was at the bottom.”

“Hee.”

I was glared by her.

I may have said something wrong, but I don’t want to hide anything. I want Iori to know why I put the guitar down in the first place. In that case, Aika’s story cannot be avoided.

“But my feelings haven’t changed. I’m only looking at you, Iori.”

She smiled back at my words with satisfaction.

“Well said. Here’s a reward.”

“Nggh !?”

The unexpected overlap of our lips. It was as thick as the first kiss.

Iori and I kissed for the second time…….

I feel pathetic that I haven’t been able to do it myself yet.

And then I closed my eyes for some reason. Am I a maiden !?

–I was still in the aftermath of the kiss, and Iori continued.

“Aside from that, the ‘declaration of war’ is really annoying ! Is she mocking me?”

Iori is getting more heated than usual..

“W….well.”

“I can see the results…rather, the result was already there, but I’ll take it from here ! Tell Aika san.”

“Y…yeah.”

Since we go to the same school, it would be nice if the two of them could tell each other themselves…..I think. But, if I do that, I will spread the fire even more. Actually, I thought it might be because she was worried about me.

“Well but……I give you credit for not keeping a lid on your feelings.”

It was a very Iori-like answer.
