"Who would like to go first?"

Reiji asked the two. They can just step forward so they can already start summoning their Arcana.

The Sentient Shinai knows that it might be unfair to Stasis who performed really well in the fight but he was of course planning to give something to the young man later on.

Vinete quickly replied as she seems to be quite excited. She's hoping that she'll also get a weapon that is suited for her. Of course, it might be best to get a sword but getting an accessory might be good as well.

Unlike Stasis who took a very long time to summon his Arcana, only about three seconds passed before the Arcana manifested. 

A cloud of red aura appeared in front of her as a small silver dagger showed…

Vinete immediately commented as she held the weapon. Then, the information about the Arcana surfaced in her mind.

The young lady couldn't help but smile after seeing that she received an Awakened Arcana!

Aside from that, she realized that the skills she has were also very powerful! Especially the combination of the Silent Steps and Shadow Cloak!

She'll become a perfect assassin at this rate!

'Haa~ It doesn't really matter what rank I'll get.' Mourad thought as he looked at his master to confirm whether he can already start.

After getting a confirmation, Mourad started the process…

It took about the same time as Stasis before he managed to pull out his Arcana…

Vinete smirked at the man… This guy has beaten her twice in terms of swordsmanship skills! However, it seems that she really has more talent when it comes to being an Arcanist!

Then, she looked at the forming Arcana… and noticed that it was quite long similar to a sword. 

"Wait… What?! Isn't that…"

"A Gun-Type Arcana!" Mourad saw the Arcana in front of him and held it immediately. 

After seeing the grip and the trigger, he knows that it's really another version of a gun… 

They weren't new about the existence of a gun since the half-imps or cultists doing outside missions were able to get and spread this information to them.

However, those guns they've seen on the records were quite short… This one, on the other hand, has a long barrel!

Reiji had seen this firearm a few times on TV so he wasn't that clueless. Though he is not an expert with guns, he knows that the Arcana is similar to a rifle meant for hunting… It even has a scope attached to it!

'That looks impressive…' Reiji commented after seeing the simple and clean design of the rifle.

This Arcana truly gave him a surprise considering that only pistol-type Arcana have appeared in the past few years.

Mourad then checked the details of the Arcana.

Mourad looked at the skills and found the two Awakened Skills he got.

The Invisible Blast Bullet and the Homing Bullet. 

'Ugh… What now? Am I going to be an evil beast hunter or something?'

The young man pondered as he has no idea how to properly use this weapon.

"Master… Do you have a gun training you can share?" 

If he doesn't know anything, he just has to ask someone who most likely knows.

"Hmm? Well, it uses your energy as its bullet, right? Just have some practice by shooting a target at varying distances. Just train your accuracy, I guess."

"Accuracy… That's right… Normal Energy Bullets cost 2 units of Spiritual Energy. I'll probably use this skill most of the time. Master, the last time you check my Spiritual Energy, it was at 580, can you tell me if it is still the same?"

"Ahh! Me too, Master! You said I have 490 energy units before." Vinete joined in the conversation.

Reiji then used this Appraisal ability and found their improvement. 

Mourad increased to 650 units while Vinete increased to 550 units…

"H-how come you have such a high Spiritual Energy?!" 

Vinete couldn't help but feel cheated… She thought that since she has an Epic Arcana, she would have higher energy as well.

However, Mourad is not listening to her as he was calculating the amount of Spiritual Energy needed to use his Awakened skills.

"Just the homing bullet needs 110 units. I need to increase my Spiritual Energy more…" The young man pondered as he stared at his rifle.
