After Luo Rui fled from the living room, Jiang Ran walked out slowly from the corner of the stairs.

Si Xu put away his book after he heard the movements, got up and looked at her. “You’ve woken up — do you want to eat something?”

“It's nothing.” Jiang Ran's tone returned to normal. “I have no sense of direction. Can you accompany me there?”

She was trying to sound him out, but she could guess his reply after she asked him that.

“Okay.” Sure enough, Si Xu said, “I'll accompany you there.”

Jiang Ran followed the man to the kitchen and along the way, she heard the team members they encountered greet him politely.
