How to Live as the Enemy Prince

< Chapter 19. Brother (4) >

It wasn't just Raven who had to stop at all.

Chase, who I was looking for at the last moment, is right in front of me. I pulled my hands, feet, horses, eyes, everything. Calian pulls with all his might.

"I've been dying to meet you, Prince Kalian."

Calian's mind that ruled the mind suddenly turned white. That's what Kalian wants to say right now. But it was Chase who brought it up.

You don't know anything, so you're only saying that because you think you've met the three princes.

Let's not shake him.

Do not be shaken.

Callian opens his mouth, barely smiling.

"Me, too."

I pretended not to answer, but I couldn't say the name Chase. If I said his name, I thought the word "sir" would come out together.

So I shut up after a short speech.

"You can share your greetings, so please have a seat."

Allen, who was quick to notice, came up with this remark.

Thanks to this, Kalian is able to sit down without saying anything else for a moment. It was because I didn't have to be shaken.

Alan picks his tongue without a sound when he sees Khalian like that. The smart-ass couldn't keep up with Chase.

I didn't want to blame him because it was natural. I just felt sorry for him. And I just want the Remains who made this Sadal to come in quickly and start the lunch and finish it.

Of course, it wasn't just Allan who noticed that Kalian was unusual. Plants is also looking at Calian with strange eyes.

'What's wrong with you today?'

I had this face.

Only after the eye contact with such plants did Callian regain consciousness. I realized that Chase wasn't the only one here.

You can't just bubble up your life as Calian, who has always been a conscientious and adaptable person. Callian clenches his fist under the table and looks back at Chase.

Then I had to put my strength into my fist again.

Tailan Castrin stopped the entrance of the Balkans before he had to defend Chase, and so he put Cecretia's death on hold three days later. It's because he, who was also Bern's teacher, is now looking at Kalian with a very interesting face, not with his pupil's eyes.

'· · · · · · · · Master.'

When Callian found Chase at the entrance to the palace, he saw Tailan beside him. Because of this, Kalian was able to undo the spell that covered his error before he entered the señor coffin.

It was fortunate that the talented Khalian was able to take this in the meantime. If Tailan didn't feel the power of Khalian, he doesn't know what would have happened.

Chase, sitting in front of you, smiles softly, notices Tailan looking at her, and talks back to her.

"I was surprised to hear Prince Kalian had recently risen from the sword."

"I just got lucky."

Callian gives you another short answer, and Chase nods. Then he looked at Plants and said,

"It's a personal story, but I envy you, Prince Plants. Having a brother like that."

If you're so jealous, just take her and make her your sister.

Since meeting Chase, Plants, who has been under scrutiny, has been looking at Calian sitting next to him for a moment, wondering how he would respond.

It was actually a thoughtless look.

However, I can see Kalian's face. Yeah, I saw his face.

Plants' eyes narrowed.

Now I get it.

The reason I've been feeling reluctant is because of the smell of Kalian that guy in Sacritia. And why it smelled so Kalian, the reason why.

I couldn't understand it with any common sense, but I found out.

Plants turns his head again and looks Chase straight in the eye. And he gave the answer in words that were not in any detail at all.

"Of course. I'm always thankful."

"I see."

"I'm proud of my brother no matter where he is in the world."

I spoke to him like this because he looked like a kind brother who wouldn't have two worlds.

Chase nods lightly, even though you've already heard about how bad things are between the two of you.

Of course, Chase nods.

Alan and Kiri are unable to move elsewhere, doubting their ears. In particular, Alan reflected on his suspicion of Plants touching alcohol again momentarily.

When Chase mentioned the word 'younger brother,' Kalian once again felt discouraged. I could also immediately understand why he had said a kind word that didn't suit him.

"Thank you very much, sir."

Callian lets out a small laugh.

Plants.

You figured it out again.

· · · · · · · Like a loving older brother.

After meeting Le Maine, Slay looks at Jan, who was standing next to him. Then I opened my mouth in a serious voice.

"I heard what you said."

"What do you mean?"

"What he said to Le Maine about why Calian was on the Sodmaster."

"Oh, that."

Slayman shakes his head as he looks at Jan, looking at him with a poop face without knowing anything. I can't be mad at that face.

"Yes. I've thought about that sometimes. I wonder if this is him."

He's Slayman's kid, by the looks of it.

Once the hair color and eyes were the same, Jan was clearly an elephant.

Jan frowned.

"I've been undetected since I was a father's son. I don't have any guts."

Jan was somewhat of a herd to be seen as the Duke's son. Of course, Slayman was also the Duke of one country. So they are both rich.

Slay stares at Yan like that and opens his mouth.

"That's right. That's my boy."

"Yes, it is. Why are you saying that all of a sudden?"

I am thankful that Kalian took me with him without hesitation.

"It's just, my mind is so complicated."

Even Khalian couldn't endure Jan being the Duke's son, so there was no silver in him. As a father, I had nothing to say to Callian.

Soon, only Slay raised his hand and stroked Jan's head.

"Yes · · · · · · · · ·. Stay healthy. All you need is to be healthy."

Why don't I know that Jan is living a really healthy life just because I've been looking at Jan all my life? What else can I say now?

Yan, who tied up his frizzy head again, asked.

"Cesar of Cecretia is here today. Have you met him?"

Chase was so famous that he reached Cairys. I was curious about what it would feel like when I actually saw it. However, since we haven't met since Khalian left Yan for lunch, we should ask Slayman.

Seeing Yan like that, only Slay grins ferociously.

"If I had met Prince Secretia, one of you would be dead in this palace today."

"What are you talking about?"

"An article called Tailan escorting Ceza. If I had met Cesar, I would have met him. I wish I could have fought you once."

Then Jan insisted as if he was saying something that didn't matter.

"You said you'd lost. Leah's young. You have to live long."

"You're such a pretty boy."

I remember saying something to my father once.

Thanks to Plants, you've barely recovered from your luncheon.

After returning to the room, Kalian immediately leaves the terrace.

Chase is staying here for the full moon.

I was on my way to see Allen, so I thought I might be able to schedule a longer conversation with him.

Full hours are long.

So as time went on, it was going to get better and better.

- Tak!

He sits on a terrace chair, ruling himself like that, and someone comes up and puts something on the table. Turning around, it was alcohol.

Kalyan sees it and disappears. Instead of saying, "Why are you here in broad daylight?", he gave a quiet voice.

"I quit drinking."

It was very different from not drinking. Moreover, it was not a sound that came from Calian's mouth. Nevertheless, Plants sat next to Calian without any reaction.

"I can't believe my brother stopped drinking."

"Sir, have some. You loved it."

"I never drank."

What are you talking about?

Calian turns his head in surprise and looks at Plants.

"You mean you've been pretending to drink."

Plants opened his mouth in a seemingly insignificant manner.

"Now that we know what we've been hiding from each other, let's pretend we're not."

"You gave me the same price for a secret I didn't drink. That's a lot of calculation."

Callian laughs out loud.

After a few moments, Calian rises to the vault in the bedroom. And inside, I pulled out a sword. One of the two steel swords I came across this morning, it is less nimble and heavier.

It was made for the Bricen sword.

"I thought that was the price you gave Raven. Wrong count."

Callian opens his mouth, placing the sword in front of Plants. Then he showed me the scar on his palm and said,

"Raven just has to pay for this scar, and I'll pay for my secret black. I'll just keep what you didn't drink a secret."

Plants did not say anything else.

Raven had nothing to say, since the scar was originally cheap.

"Lord Hertz lost his sword anyway, so use it."

That damn wizard.

Plants' eyes suddenly became ferocious.

After a moment of irritation, Plants reaches out and draws his sword. Soon, he became completely fascinated by the sword that was gently drawn out. He had forgotten about the sword that Arsen had just broken.

Callian adds an explanation.

"The creator said he would capture enough of the error, so I want you to study hard."

"The price of keeping secrets is too high."

"Not too much."

Khalian did not insist on saying that the sword was originally used by Plants.

There was no sword left for Slayman, who was supposed to be the original owner of one. It was my idea to give it to Kiri.

I decided to take the sword for Slayman, which is just a good price for taking care of my missing son. Callian's calculations are quite accurate.

Soon, Plants drops his sword next to him and opens his mouth quietly.

"You have to explain yourself."

"What are you talking about?"

"Why does my brother look dead and alive in the sound of someone else's brother?"

It seemed to make sense but never understood.

"I think you've figured it all out."

Even so, Calian expressed a silent expression with a short spell. I felt like I needed to tell you a story.

Instead, there was one question before that.

I thought I would know the answer now, but I wanted to ask you once.

"If · · · · · · · · · · · ·."

Calian looks at the Arfia Palace, who is so unlucky.

Thinking of Chase who would be there by now.

"When you say you really want something, But what would you do if it was in someone else's hands?"

"I don't have a habit of taking what's in someone else's hands."

"If you really need it. Would you still like to leave it?"

"Yes."

I didn't know why he asked, but Plants gave me an answer first.

Kalian nods with a grim look on his face.

Then it's foolish to think why you started a war. Whether someone changed the nature of Plants or started a war on behalf of Plants, Plants doesn't know the answer to that question.

Knowing the answer doesn't change anything.

I just wanted to see what Plants was really thinking, and that was it.

"Time has passed backwards."

So Callian opens his mouth quietly.

Plants does not look at Kalian, and his words are brief.

"I was his brother, and now I'm your brother."

I couldn't say more.

How can I tell you what this enemy, who has no hobby of stealing from others, has done?

Then I suddenly smiled at him, thinking about how he had appeared at the luncheon.

"It's not easy to say that to me."

Plants just nods.

I wasn't even more surprised. I was surprised by so many things, and now I'm just going to do it.

And Plants decided not to ask what was really going on with Calian's age of sobriety. Smart Plants knew there was a time when not knowing was beneficial.

So, he didn't even ask what he had taken from her.
