How to Live as the Enemy Prince

< Chapter 13. Found (1) >

Ten days have passed since I met the Sispanians.

And Kalian is still in Siegfried's castle.

- Are you just saying you won't come?

Callian laughs at Allen's words, mixed by half a bruise and half a grim grin. It's a smile of half the remorse and half the gratitude that Alan is waiting for.

- The later your schedule is, the more silica prepares. You'd better get back here as soon as you can.

I never planned to stay like this for so long. But I haven't solved the problem I told you about.

Callian stayed in Siegfried Castle for ten days because of one thought Yan gave him.

On the day after meeting with the Sispanians, Kalyan met Slayman and stabbed him hard, he had a brief conversation with Slayman about whether Jan knew what he was like. Then I asked Slay a question.

'I think the Grey Bricen Change Bag will recognize my error, what do you think?'

'Since the change bag is known to be more skilled at swordsmanship than the late Evan Brissen, it is likely that you will notice an error in the prince's body.'

Only Slay nods, thinking the same.

'Is there no way to hide the error?'

The Path of the Sword is the path of enlightenment.

Each of you gets an epiphany in a different way and enters the path of the sword. They were all different ways of realizing the error, so they could not teach it. That's why there were only six Sodmasters on the continent.

Growing up in a renowned family or training in swordsmanship from a sorcerer increases your chances of getting on the sword path. There was no guarantee that I would be enlightened.

The number was extremely small, so it was natural to know each other's strengths roughly. Therefore, there was no need to hide the error. The same was true of Bern, so Calian could not conceal his error at first.

However, Kalian, who is not Bern, was different.

Callian.

An unofficially unknown sorcerer.

So when we fought the Grey Brissen Change Bag, we thought that even if we fought, we would hide the fact that the 15-year-old 'Wizard' had realized the drama of the sword.

As if I hadn't told Jan about Khalian's identity.

'I've never thought about hiding an error.'

Slay was no different. Slayman shakes his head heavily and replies:

After hearing the answer, Kalian's eyes reach for Arsen.

Callian calls Arsen, who has no way to hide his intentions, but he seems to know a similar solution somehow.

'Sir Hertz.'

Arsen comes over to Calian with a look on his face, trying to get him to do something else, and Calian asks a simple question.

'Do you know any magic to hide Mana?'

Arsen immediately replied.

'Yes, I know. Now that you have four circles, you can use them too.'

A sorcerer, yet unknown to the world.

And Calian laughed, knowing very well that the source of the circle and error are the same.

'Please tell us how.'

This way, Kalian learns the magic of hiding Mana.

The magic itself was not so difficult, but the problem was in maintenance. It took me a whole week to walk, talk, eat, and sleep to keep the magic going. And it took three days again to completely conceal the error.

Slay was the only one who could confirm that the energy of the error had leaked from Calian. He was unable to leave Siegfried Castle. So I stayed for ten days.

I feel so good now! All I see is a quiet prince who's never been near a knife. '

And I finally heard from Slayman that that morning, I didn't feel any energy at all. So Calian was able to find a more familiar cemetery and talk to Alan like this.

Callian looks around for a moment.

Still a lot of monuments. And as always, Jan stands quietly waiting for the conversation to end.

- I was prepared for a long time. We're really leaving tomorrow.

Callian asks Allan, who said so.

- Perhaps the briefcase has already departed for the capital.

- Delegates have been delayed as far as possible. It's only a matter of a few more weeks before we can leave.

The sooner Grey arrives, the sooner she can delay her arrival to Cairysis.

- Thank you, sir.

- And we're about to take a preliminary apprentice exam at the Magic School. Perhaps you can expect to meet the students by the time Prince arrives.

- You'll be busy acquiring the Bricen Merchant Guild, but you're already ready for the Magic Academy.

It was a progress of the magic institute I had entrusted to Melpire Pollun. Kalian looks quite surprised as it has progressed much faster than expected.

- Yes, we're working very fast. You still don't seem to have enough hands. I'll choose the right person to help with the Magic Schools, so please find out if you can become a top talent.

- Even if we do, we won't be able to get anyone in Siegfried to the capital.

- You keep forgetting the good stuff.

Alan continues to send a pranky voice.

- like Alan Manasil or Kiri. I want you to remember that the future you know has a name for me.

- I don't remember anything in particular since I didn't pay much attention to the top. I don't have anyone that comes to mind right now, but I'm going to think a little bit more.

- Yes, thank you.

After speaking with Allen, Calian returns to the castle, recalling his memory.

That evening, another great supper was held at Siegfried Castle. Even though I didn't say I was leaving now, Ahn Slay had prepared that I would leave soon, since all of Calian's work is done.

And the next day.

Callian makes his move to Siegfried, receiving a return from Slayman and Demirea. The knights, including the eggs, were not with them. Rachel's magic was able to move quickly, but there was a limit to how many people could use magic. Khalian, Kirrier, and Arsen alone were enough power anyway, so it wasn't that big of a risk.

"I won't look after you again."

Khalian smiles and replies to Slayman, saying in a small voice that he cannot hear.

"It's not going to be the same at the time."

"Hahaha! What an exciting sound!"

After asking Le Maine and Allen to say hi, Calian and Slayman split up again for a while.

To get back to Cairosis.

* * *

The streets of Astricia in the capital, Cairysis, have been crowded with nobles since morning. The subject of the conversation between the nobles gathered in every cafe was a letter tied to the inbound foreground.

- A brilliant light flashes as Calian enters the cispanian cavity.

It was already a famous Calian because it resembled the Sispanian. So, we were divided on what the meaning of the content was.

I'm tired of hearing that the Sispanians have chosen Kalian as their next great king. It even makes a silly sound that tells me that Calian is not the Sispanian.

So, it was natural for all the young people of Cairysis to come to the 'Polish Sorcery Academy Preliminary Apprentice Recruitment Exam', which started just that day, as they knew that news would be delivered around this time.

"Good job · · · · · · viewing, Manasil. I'll be going, then."

As I watched the test ground of the crowded Magic Academy, Uriah, chairman of the Association of Wizards, quickly stepped back, saying: Then Alan's body disappears, standing in front of him, and reappears from behind Urea's back.

"Don't warp three paces ahead! How hard can that be?"

Suddenly, I see Alan smiling behind him, and Uriah raises her voice without my knowledge.

It's a warp, not a teleport. A skill of 6 circles.

Alan is using high-level magic that he wants to use, but can't.

He smiles softly and points to the chair in the center of the table, whether or not he heard what Uriah said.

It was noisy, so I told him to hurry up and sit down.

Uriah wept.

"Manasil. I knew, of course, that Baron Melpire Pollun was going to set up a magical academy. I also know that the preliminary recruitment test is today. I think it's really nice to have a magical institute in Cairys."

I meant it.

Uriah was very pleased with the future magic of Cairis and gave Melphir Pollun the words of encouragement.

"But I'm really busy helping myself."

The morning of the entrance exam at the institute, Alan came to visit. Then I came all the way here with tears, saying I have somewhere to go.

Isn't that Uriah, the Chairman of the Wizard's Association?

If you have a college entrance exam, it won't be a bad idea to just sit together and glow.

Even though I was dragged to the testing ground, Uriah, who thought about it, fixed the thought of running away. And he agreed to walk to the long table of the temporary testing ground and fill a seat. I also thought that if I didn't have enough people to supervise the exam, I would help.

Euria Seyren, principal of the Polish School of Magic, but what's that nameplate in the middle of the table?

Out of the five signposts, why is it that the one in the middle is the biggest and even that one is painted in gold?

Uriah expressed her determination to refuse.

"Get someone else to do it."

At that point, Alan nods slightly, pointing once more at the chair. A deep sigh comes out of Uriah's mouth.

In this way, Alan goes without saying a word and chooses the right person to help with the magic institute.

Time passed again.

The way back to the capital, Cairosis. Khalian stayed three days in Reddington Castle, set on a low cliff along the lake.

It was because Veronica, Alan's granddaughter, said that her leg had been injured. Rachel's magically accelerated speed prevents her from avoiding the pits on the floor.

Fortunately, Kiri quickly captured Veronica, so that no one was hurt, and Veronica's words became more than healing for Hina. Of course, it was not powerful enough to heal all the wounds at once, so it took time for all the horses to heal.

Thanks to this, Kalian came to Reddington Castle and couldn't help but be amazed at the early morning appearance outside of the Lord's castle. It was because the big lake with the calm fog and the blue sky were quite beautiful.

A small admiration flows from behind Kalian, watching the swarms of flying water birds.

"Beautiful and peaceful."

It was Kiri.

It was such a beautiful place for Kiri to speak first. As agreed, Jan lowered his warm mint tea.

"The Lord Reddington himself is a good match for this place. It's known for being thoughtful and thoughtful. I'm going to Cairosis soon, so think about taking a rest for three days."

"Yes, you should."

Kalian nods, smiling.

It was as Jan said.

Now, four more days from here, this is Cairysis. This is where Allen and Remain, and Silica and Randall are waiting.

When I arrived at the palace, it was clear that I would not have come this far for a while, nor would I be as relaxed as I am now.

"I have a bad feeling about spending a day and going. I'll take my time."

"Yes, Prince."

That relaxation.

The relaxation I was trying to keep in mind, but it only lasted for a day.

"· · · · · · · Oops."

That afternoon, three wagons appeared outside the window at Reddington Castle. Calian's jaw rises long as he sees Griffin's crest with the sword carved next to it.

"What a pleasant coincidence."

It was a sentence from the Bricen family.
