How to Live as the Enemy Prince

< Chapter 10. You've come too far (4) >

After Hina left, Kalian sent Kiri and two knights to Hanson Village. It's because I was worried that Hale Latran might threaten Norton's wife. Of course, Hale was likely to hurt Norton, so he made sure the prison was guarded as well.

And after I had just met Remain and contacted Alan from the palace, I said,

- Master, I don't think we should go to the Bricen Merchant Guild.

Then I felt Alan questioning me.

You were looking for the Bricen Merchant Guild to remind me that Hale turned his back on Bricen.

I don't know how to greet myself in Brissen, so my steps will be noisy. I didn't even tell Remain in advance. It's weird not to go there.

- Anything else confirmed?

You can continue with the rest, but at the top.

Calian pauses and recalls what happened after he left the dungeon a moment ago.

After Callian got out of prison.

It was Malcolm, the butler, who met before returning to the room. Even though it was Temple of Tensyl, it was strange to take up too much of that position with Hale, so I went to see him behind his back.

Until then, Kalian has only expected Hale to be holding Malcolm's weakness. So I was thinking Malcolm might be able to help me find something that Hale's been hiding, like a ledger or something to prove the deal.

"Save me, Prince!"

So, Malcolm, who saw Callian in the room, lying at his feet, said, "I'm a little embarrassed.

In conclusion, Malcolm had a weakness. It was not great and it was often a matter of money. He owes Hale a great debt and says he got caught up in it.

Therefore, Calian told me that the debt is no longer a problem as we are taking the High Priestesses back from Tensyl. Malcolm replies, instead of being polite.

"I know. But that's not my problem."

The Bible says, "Let me live for another reason."

"If the Earl is really punished for this, so if he finds out that I'm involved in buying and selling anything, I'll die as soon as I get to the Tensyl."

Turns out that putting all this stuff out to pressure Hale scared Malcolm even more. Malcolm's unthinkable words complicate his expression.

"I know you bought something. You sold it. You mean you didn't buy it for Tensyl and bring it to the Tensyl?"

Haven't you ever thought of that?

Hale sent a new one from the blue seagull to the Tensile. That's how he got on with Randall.

"I didn't send it to Tensyl."

Surprisingly, Malcolm shakes his head. An intriguing story begins to tell whether I thought the lifeline was the only thing that could save my life.

"The Earl is utterly hated and has no direct access to the Tensyllables. This time, however, Prince Plants seemed to have found a way to reconnect the broken cord once he was separated from Cezawi."

After Hale turned once from Tensyl, the future of Plants was dark and Calian was also uneasy about Hale's reaction.

You mentioned that you tried to reconnect with Randall, but that neither Randall nor Tensyl met Hale.

Of course, this was not surprising, even though it was interesting. Malcolm decides to take a quick look at Calian's unsurprisingly face and reveal the next story.

"The blue sole bird is completely bribed to the Earl. I was looking for a clue from Cairosis, and I sold it to the Earl, and there's a lot of it. So I wanted to hide that I was a priest from the prince just in case it came out. Anyway, the Earl bought it and sold it again. I made a deal with Tensyl that I would just give it to him from then on."

"Where did you sell it again?"

After that, Callian reminded her of what she felt when she heard the next words.

- Looks like Earl Brissen got his kid's education wrong.

"Leon Brisen, Queen Silique's older brother, the merchant lord of the Bricen Merchants Guild. He's giving away the tennis court."

Lennon Brissen.

He lines up the tent.

Betray Plants and stand with Randall!

It was as soon as Lennon turned his back on his father, Earl Brissen, and his brother Silica. I heard a gasp from Kalian's mouth that I didn't know.

I met an Elven kid and got stuck in the rain.

Callian quietly asks, "Where did you find the path to the second hurricane?"

- What do we do?

The wise wizard, Alan Manasil, was unable to answer his disciple's short question and pressed down on his temple.

Alan turns the wagon around.

I had to tell Remain right away that I think his youngest son caught a bear in a trap he was planning to catch a fox.

* * *

During a very long conversation with Allen and Remain about how to use frozen bears, Calian came back to his room after the supper.

Lennon is Lennon, but catching Hale comes first, so Calian has decided to move on as planned.

It was Kalian who asked me to open the cage at this time through Hina I met during the morning. So if the bird had found its owner right away, it would have a very happy guest in there by now.

That's why Khalian summoned Jan, who was trying to open a visit.

"I just need a cup of tea."

"Yes. I'll get it right away."

Jan nods without a doubt, and Calian slowly opens the door and goes inside.

As expected, there was.

You see an open cage and an open window. And instead of a white dove, a blue sole sits on a chair. Khalian smiles, enchanted to see if anyone would come in.

"You're here so fast."

The blue sole was not as relaxed as before. His expression hardens, even though there are no two tests to help Callian.

The reason was simple.

It's because I read Kalian's letter from her Book of Souls. The blue sole bird rises from its seat and says to Callian,

"I was so impressed with the letter."

If you don't want the fact that you helped the Cairysans set me up tightly, then come find me at my new dealership. That's how Kalian wrote the letter.

"I thought so."

I couldn't help but come as Callian called me. As soon as the White Repairman finds out about this, he will be pursued for the rest of his life. How can he ignore it? A blue seagull faced the unexpected, frowning and asking.

"What are you threatening me with?"

"Proof of Hale Latran's dealings in obsolescence. And proof that they sold the information. I need them."

"Why me?"

According to Malcolm, Hale left no evidence of a deal. I was worried that I would get caught and strangle myself. Of course, I did not fully believe Malcolm's words, so I was more likely to do a search, but not a search.

So I called the blue sole bird again.

Since Hale didn't have to tell the blue soles that he didn't have any evidence, Calian just laughed back and said,

"First, yours."

It shows the pledge that Kalian put on the place where the blue seagull sat. It contained the seal of the oath, just like the one you used when you made the deal with Silica.

"Hand over the evidence and I'll keep your secret."

The blue sole taps the floor with its toes. We're trying to figure out whether to hand over the information and go back, or kill Calian, to shut him up.

The blue sole's feet pause for a moment.

Along with him, a breathtaking life leads to Kalian. Instead of being overwhelmed by life, Calian asks with a bold tone.

"Is this the answer?"

"A bothersome relationship was created."

Calian's gaze subsides.

"If you knew what I was getting myself into, you wouldn't say that."

The blue sole smiled.

Along with him, you hear a small click, and three beads fly towards Calian.

A magic bullet made by condensing the fireball's power.

If any of them were authentic, they would have the firepower to collect each piece with tongs when collecting the bodies.

Despite a sudden attack, Calian quickly spreads his shield and throws himself to the side.

- Boom! Kuang!

The Magic Ammo hits the wall and makes three explosions.

The building shakes. The dust obstructs Calian and the blue sole bird's vision. Calian opens his mouth with an impression.

"Are you here to kill me?"

It's quite expensive, but if you've been preparing it like this, you shouldn't think that you didn't intend to accept Calian's deal in the first place.

I was prepared for an attack, but I didn't expect a magic bullet.

I used to use a knife. Why a magic bullet? '

She handled the sword very well. I've never fought a battle that would send a magic bomb like this.

In a hurry, I could understand why.

It was Bern who advised the bluebird to become strong enough with just one sword.

Oh, shit.

Soon after another click, a magic bullet flies towards the place where the shadow of Kalian is visible. Callian dodges again, and the explosion sounds again.

- Kuang!

In the end, the wall, which was hit by four magic bullets, collapses.

The landscape of Latran was visible through a large hole. Calian disappears, looking at the wall of the luxury room where the windows were no longer needed.

"I'll kill them all."

You hear Yan and the knights coming out of the visit.

The room was not big enough for many fights and the blast range was quite wide. Because of this, Kalian once again locks the door.

"Don't come in."

As the dust clears, you see another magic bullet in her hand. Kalian surrounds the shield with zinc, and the Magic Ammo flies at the same speed as Memory.

- Yuck!

Kalian pulls out his sword and does not avoid the incoming magic grenade. This castle was different from the royal palace of Cairis. So I thought, if a magic bomb hits the wall again, the building might actually collapse.

Kalyan wields his sword around the shield and strikes the Magic Ammo. A massive explosion erupts again from the magical blast that flew out of the breached wall.

The blue sole moves one step closer to Calian.

Callian grunts in annoyance.

"Anything else?"

The blue seagull draws his sword and says,

"Nothing."

At the same time, the body of the blue sole moves rapidly. Her blade flies out, rushing towards Calian's neck. Kalyan raises his sword to stop the attack.

- Ka-ang!

The sound of two swords clashing against each other makes me nervous.

It was an ordinary steel sword that had been swarmed many times while practicing with Kyrie. It must have been difficult to withstand the right error.

Because of this, Kalian wraps an error around his body instead of his sword. Then you twist your sword, unleashing an attack on the blue sole, and immediately lower it. The blue sole flicks its sword back and forth.

And that moment.

Kalyan disappears from view of the blue sole bird.

The blue sole swiftly turns around to retrieve the sword. One day, Calian's sword is flying back behind her. The tip of the sword is fast enough to be invisible. The dangerous blue sole twists instinctively, but it can't stop the arm from chopping long.

Kalian raises his sword again.

Then the blue sole took something out of its chest and blew it again. You hear a click.

"You said no."

The distance was too close.

I didn't have enough room to get rid of it.

Calian's sword glows darkly, deciding at the same time.

Whoo-hoo!

You hear a clear sound with a slight tremor. The blue orb glows coldly with its blade.

Kalian draws a sword with the power of error and drops a magic bullet that has already flown all the way to the surface.

- Screaming!

A magical bullet filled with red energy falls to the ground, cut in half without being able to overcome the power of the error. The blue vision lingers in the air for a long time, then fades slowly.

There was no explosion.

Instead, you hear a sharp crack and the Kalyan blade shatters. He didn't make it.

Calian closes his eyes.

"What to do. Me, you."

Calian looks back at the blue sole bird as Bern's eyes for a moment. Then I called out to her in a cold voice.

"Eila."

The blue sole bird doesn't even realize that Callian is calling out his name right now. You stare at Calian's broken sword. His eyes were filled with frightening light.

A sixth sorcerer stands before her now.
