How to Live as the Enemy Prince

< Chapter 7. Roses were about to bloom (1) >

It wasn't until morning that I came back to the palace and woke up to catch my breath. Jan, whose eyes had turned pale, was sitting right next to her, staring at her. I got up and took a step back, as if a hot Kalian were protruding.

"Surprise."

It was hard to see the sheer veins of blood in Yann's eyes, and the sheer crunchiness beneath them.

"I waited all night, you said grow up."

"My prince."

Jan looks serious and cuts off Khalian's words.

"Morning tea, why are you eating?"

I suspect it might be poisoned, so Calian makes a very fat face.

"You gave it to me."

It was a small reprimand.

Of course, I didn't want to blame her for not knowing it was a poisoned car. Even Kalian, the great party, did not suspect poison. I was just a little grumpy at the stubborn diligence that brought me that car every morning.

Yan reaches out to the bedside table, not knowing if he knows what he's trying to find out.

There was a morning tea that I hadn't had yet.

Jan took it to my mouth without hesitation.

Calian's eyes turn sharp.

- Tak!

Kalian snatches the Tea Cup from Jan's mouth to touch it. Tea water flowed down the floor in the wind. Yan stares at the brown water splashing on the carpet and clenches his fist without even knowing it.

Callian was furious to see that.

You want me to tell you what I hid, or you want me to kill you.

Why is everyone so extreme without asking nicely?

"What are you doing!"

Khalian shouts at Jan, his hands hastily reaching out to examine Jan's face.

"Did you swallow it?"

Jan takes his hands off Kalian. It was an unusual behavior, but I was distracted by it. Khalian raises his voice again, as Jan becomes stuffy.

"Did you eat it?"

"I haven't eaten!"

Jan yells at you. Khalian doesn't blame Yan for that. A moment later, Jan opens his mouth.

"I poisoned the prince with my own hands."

Then I looked at her without saying anything else. Jan's expression revealed everything he wanted to say. I repeated all kinds of profanity, anger, and regret.

It was all about Jan himself, not Calian.

"I wonder why someone who can't even use a knife would get a knife."

That knife. I didn't buy it for nothing!

"It has to do with the prince's condition. I was reminded of Lord Manasil's poisoned son in Riverne."

Kalian stares at Jan in surprise.

I had no idea what was going on with Alan. When I saw myself for the first time, I understood why Alan was looking around so much and how the inside knew about his condition.

"Then I remembered the poison. That's what I thought. Morning tea, I think that's it."

When I took the cup of tea, I was already positive.

I was worried that I would blame myself for that personality, but luckily, Jan responded more calmly than I thought.

"· · · · · · · Silica?"

Normally, Jan did not call Silica away.

If I said yes, I was ready to invade the Haycia Palace right away. Khalian glances at Yan for a moment and quietly replies.

"Why, to avenge me?"

"There's nothing I can't do."

It was a cold voice. Blood disappears from Yann's fist. Kalian shakes his head.

"The elephants stay put. I'm at war."

Yan, who was about to say something, shuts up.

This is the sound that Kalian is making in his head. Jan looks at Kalian for a long time, losing her horse.

Eventually, a surprised voice squeezed out of my lips.

"· · · · · · · Hull."

There were too many corners that resembled Slayman in the first place.

I couldn't help but notice the Kalian hanging around Jan all day. You don't think so, but you notice that Remain hasn't said anything for days, which will lead him out of the palace. Of course, I knew it was Alan who called them elephants.

Callian sat in front and said in a resolute voice to the baby elephant who was dreaming.

"You can't start a war between Siegfried and Bricen with a single car. So you can't interfere. It's my job. Let it go."

Herbs are like herbivores.

Don't let their beliefs hurt.

"It will be resolved on Tuesday anyway."

Callian, speaking in a relaxed voice, drinks the tea that was left in the cup.

* * *

Callian sends a wagon to bring Alan into the palace. It was because the apostles' farewells and luncheons were held without the princes' attendance, as Yan expected.

Alan gives out a document in fear of meeting with Calian. It was a recollection of what the wizards had put together, what Silica had done. Callian welcomes it with a happy face.

"Thank you. Please tell the Association that you have been through a lot."

"I'd ask you to bring it, but as you can see, it's not going to be very helpful."

Callian smiles meaningfully.

"It depends on what you're using it for. That should do it."

Callian looks at Alan and opens his mouth again, allowing him to put it in the safe for later viewing. It's because I needed to talk about what Alan should be doing from now on.

"Let's take a walk."

It was not a good day to walk because the sky was still cloudy and the wind was strong. However, Khalian leaves the room worried about leaking the contents of his conversation with Alan, and he quietly moves away.

"Of course."

Callian was so fortunate that on the first day he came here, he passed right by where he swallowed his anger while looking at the Sispanian sculpture.

And as Callian's voice was heard, there was a thin layer of silent membrane around them. However, the membrane moved together as they walked together. If I could see the veil from the outside, Jan would have something to say to Alan.

"I had magic, but I didn't have to come out."

Kalian smiles quietly.

"It's good to have a wizard."

"Speak freely."

You say so, and Alan leans toward Calian. Khalian nods again.

"If I really touch magic, you'll want to control whether it's the Duke of Silica or Brissen. I'll roll my head to make excuses to get in the way. And as time goes on, it gets worse. Of course, I can only respond with your name or association, but I think it would be better if you had more proper authority."

Alan smiles. It was because I saw the intention to speak out.

"Will you use me as your shield this time?"

"You know, there are too many birds. But not a shield."

Calian shuts up for a moment and finishes his thought.

"Weapons. Enough to fend off the Knights of Bricen."

Alan smiles slightly. I realized that something really interesting was about to happen.

"I'm excited."

"Yes, you'll like it too."

"So what kind of weapon do you want me to be?"

About the time they stepped into the Rose Garden, Kalian answered.

"The Wizards."

Alan tilts his head when he hears an unfamiliar word. They're not knights. They're wizards.

"An army of wizards, literally."

The wizards of Cairys, Balkans.

Calian's heart thumps as he recalls it.

How could I forget?

The power of an army of sorcerers that took over the lives of Bern and Cecretia!

- The White Devils.

This is what the people of Cecritia call them. If they appear covered with white armor, white capes, and white masks, disaster strikes.

A group that destroyed its walls, collapsed its valleys, burned cities and froze knights. Those who lost Cecretia in seclusion were truly evil.

However, it was something that did not exist at this time.

"I'm building a Wizard's Bandit."

Callian pushes back once more. Surprisingly, Alan shuts up and follows behind. It wasn't because I didn't understand what Kalian was saying, or because I was reluctant.

"Is that possible? You know the tribe of wizards. They are not accustomed to group behavior, nor can they be trained and grown together like knights."

It was because I wasn't sure of the possibility.

It was a understandable response. Everyone did. When Remain wanted to assemble the Wizards and build an army, he was told there was no one he didn't laugh at.

Alan's thinking the same thing right now.

How can wizards build an army? Will such an army ever work? Go.

"It was possible."

It was a more convincing answer than anything. It was a testament to the past and the future.

"That, too, I did in Cairys. It was only in Le Maine's hands."

"Huh."

Alan laughs nonsense and Callian speaks.

"When Remain said he had changed his mind about wizards in the morning and created the Wizards, he was not worthy of opposing him. It'll just disappear. Thanks to you, we were able to do it once, so there's no reason not to do it sooner."

Alan doesn't answer.

He had already begun to think about how to make and operate it. However, since there were more important facts to tell before that, Calian interrupted Allen's thoughts for a moment.

"It took me a long time to become a proper soldier. Immediately after the Wizards' appearance was complete, Remain died. It was a mystery."

The cause of death is unknown at all. The completed Wizards are handed over to Plants, who inherited the throne.

For this reason, the Wizard's power was realized by Plants, not Le Maine, and Cecretia sensed it.

"So it won't be easy this time. It's risky. It's not just about collecting wizards with your reputation."

"You're not asking me if I can do this because it's dangerous, but because there's something I have to do, and it's dangerous, I hope you're right."

"Yes, that's right. I need it, but I'm worried."

Alan looks at his disciple's bold face for a new and dangerous task and leans slightly toward Calian. And he spoke in a small voice, as if to tell a secret story.

"Actually, I'm good with magic."

It means don't worry.

Callian nods, smiling, and Alan opens his mouth again.

"But it won't be easy to get started."

If Allen were to step up and form a Wizard's Bandit, House Bricen would not ignore and abandon the work as Remain had done before. There must have been a disturbance.

"Yes. That's why I'm telling you."

Callian looks at the tree shaken by the wind for a moment, and reveals the most important story in this matter.

"Le Maine will soon be able to exchange gifts with Silica again. as if instead of paying off Plants' mistakes, you were partially reducing the benefits of the Brissen Merchant Guild. instead of paying for silica's mistakes this time."

"You're finally going to wreck a single-car."

As soon as Alan understands what he has to say, Calian sticks out his tongue.

What were you thinking trying to fool this guy?

"You know, you're fast. That's right. The car, I'm going to clean it up. But as I said before, you can't punish Silica for this. So I'm going to try something a little different."

Just the Wizard's testimony and the fact that he imported the poisoned cremosa did not prove that Silica had given Calian a single tea. Moreover, when it turns out that he drank a single tea, Calian has no intention of punishing Silica with it, as the people around him would be harmed by the ropes.

"May I ask how?"

Callian smiles lightly instead of answering. It meant that I would not discuss the details yet.

"I'll do what I can to negotiate that Silica poisoned me. And then, after Plants' mistake, and then Silica, you won't be able to make a sound out of it. So at that time, you can ask Earl Brissen and Silica not to interfere with the creation of the Wizards."

Alan nods.

"And there's something the Wizard Association can help you with when biting cars. When you're done, do me a favor."

"Very well. You may speak at any time."

Alan opens his mouth, joyfully answering, thinking of someone for a moment.

"By the way, when the prince's single-car problem is solved, Remain will be relieved."

"What do you mean, Remain is at a loss?" "

"Actually, the day I got here, I was a little upset about Lemaine's operation. And then I started to tell him what kind of gift Silica was giving him."

Along with this, Alan explains what went on and on at the time. Calian gives you a moment's thought, thanking you for your hard work. Soon, he nods.

"Thanks to you, we'll get more from this. We may have to get lucky."

Callian comes back to the story he used to tell.

"Anyway, since we don't know when they're going to do something as big as try to kill the prince again, we must negotiate this time. In order to do that, we need to have a Wizard's contour in place. So start right away. Talk to Le Maine. I'm sure Le Maine had a lot on her mind."

"You're too old for your teacher."

"Jan says you're incredibly strong. So I'm going to be blameless."

Allen's gentle laughter rings a small bell inside the silent membrane.

"As you wish."
