How to Live as the Enemy Prince

< Chapter 6. No offense (5) >

Kalian stares at you silently. Of course, I didn't take off my hood.

Behind him are four men with swords blocking the door. In front of him was a table made of iron, and the man sitting across from him was looking at me with something in his hand. These are all the certificates that Kalian has given me.

"Three florins earning over 6,000 florins. Amazing."

Kalian doesn't answer. He shrugged his shoulders and lowered his certificates, hoping for a special answer.

It was obvious why the man summoned Calian like this. The amount has grown too much. Callian, who thought he would make reasonable bargains or threats, would have to suffer enormous losses to get all that money out.

"No matter how much we run a gambling den, we have a master's office. I'll pay you."

The man who said that tapped the table with a light fist. Then the man behind put one of his pockets on the table.

Calian glances at the man with a questionable face as he gives away his money. The man who could not see his face covered in the hood, but saw his head move, smiling and saying.

"Oh, but why did you call me?"

The man opens his pocket of money toward Calian. It appears to be asking you to confirm that you heard the gold coin, but Kalian doesn't look back.

"I'm a little worried about giving a kid this much money."

Suddenly, his voice changed.

Maybe someone heard him yelling at Kiri.

Anyway, what they're saying is

'I'll give you money, but I can't right now. Come on, grow up.'

This is what it means. As if someone had ordered the sheep, the person who had just put down the money pockets shouted.

Calian looks at her for a moment and opens his mouth.

"I know it's a lot of money."

All I could see under the hood was my lips. His lips were smiling. It was a boy's voice, but it did not seem embarrassed or surprised.

Kalian shakes his head slightly and says in a disappointed voice.

"I thought you'd come to negotiate, though."

The man points to Calian's head instead of his answer.

"Take off that stupid hat, kid."

Kalyan raises his hand and grabs the tip of the hat.

Then, I pressed a little deeper and replied briefly.

"No."

"A person should look him in the eye and say, Isn't that right?"

Seeing that he had quite a lot of money, he thought it would be unusual. However, seeing that he had come without an escort, it couldn't have been a very high family. With such certainty, the man is acting like this without being up or down.

"Take this off."

Calian's lips twist. It was a smile I learned from Plants and was very good at helping people plant.

"Something's come up. Really."

A smile resembling that of Plants had an outstanding effect. A man utters a blasphemy and gestures at the man behind him. The man who took out the money pouch walks up to Callian and reaches out and snatches the hood.

At the same time, Kalian makes his move.

- Shhh!

Kalian raises his left hand, grabbing the edge of the hood that was about to peel off, and pulls out the knife in his hand. Then he stood up and turned around and lowered the back of his hand, holding the hood.

"Aah!"

When the man grabs hold of my hand and starts screaming, Khalian sits back down one day.

"What, what!"

It happened so fast.

Since Calian's condition was best, he was able to move this much with a dry twisted body. For a little while, of course, and once or twice, but it didn't matter.

The four men blocking the door with their colleagues' screams draw their swords.

Then the terrifying energy emanates from the Kalian.

A dark life filled the surroundings with clear flesh.

The man could not speak. I was cold sweating on my back. He also dealt with the knights' lives, but it was definitely different. The men around Calian were no different. The end of the knife trembled without my knowing it.

Those who have lived in these places are quick to notice.

Unlike a knight who puts his sword through his throat without killing himself. I knew that if I realized the power advantage, I wouldn't be so desperate.

"It's no fun to underestimate old age. Don't be curious about faces. Put the knife away, put the noise away. Negotiate first, threaten later."

The voice of Kalian in front of him is still echoing, even though he's half cut off from behind now.

"If you understand, you can start over."

Calian smiles as if his life had been washed away. The smile gave me goose bumps. The hood only made my mouth look harsher.

'Dammit! I called in that maniac with the knife!'

If we call the men outside, we can win. The man quickly rolls his head to assess the difference in power.

'It moves fast. There's no way those slowpokes are gonna follow that speed. Besides, he's living like that, and half of him can't even draw a knife and die.'

The results of the calculation were simple. I decided it was better to fight and take money than to see blood and take money.

He doesn't even have to face the sword. He's worried about losing. It was just as Callian had imagined.

'If you give me all the money, I'm dead too. What should I do?'

A man had his reasons.

Even though he pretended to be strong and brought all that money out, he really couldn't get that big money out at once. It would be disruptive to the business immediately and there would be insufficient payments.

However, since Calian spoke of the negotiation, the man decided to believe it and make an excuse.

"It's hard to pay all at once. If you tell me where you live, I'll give you money every week."

- Cadduk!

The tip of Kalian's knife scrapes at the iron desk. A creepy sound rang out. Callian said.

"Carl, noisy boy."

The man gestures, remembering what Kalian said a moment ago. The sword in four hands reaches back into the sword, and two of them flee with screaming teeth.

The man opens his mouth again.

"You got it? Now, when you tell me where you live · · · · · · ·."

- Cadduk!

That's not the right answer.

The man grips his teeth.

"Yes, it's actually hard to give all that money at once. We have to raise our winnings every week!"

Calian picks up the knife and brings it to his lips, telling him to be quiet. The quiet voice resumes again.

"Don't bother to find out."

"No, what am I supposed to do if I can't afford it?"

The man shouted without my knowledge. Then he makes a hot, dying voice.

"No, I didn't mean that. I just want you to tell me what you want."

Kalian taps his desk with the tip of his knife.

"I won't take the money."

It was the most pleasant sound I ever heard. There was a color on the man's face. But Kalian's words were not finished. To the man, the words were like the Blue Ceiling Power.

"Give me a person instead. Monster's Eye."

"No, it's not!"

- Cadduk!

"Oh my God, really!"

The man frowned momentarily. There's an excessive need for a grudge. I thought I'd try it.

Calliando notices a change in the man's heart.

If you give us a little more time here, we'll have a fight, and we'll find out that you're just a child. So don't give me time to think.

Kalian grits his molars.

"He's just starting to become money, and the Master!"

The man who said that shut up without me knowing.

Kalian's knife, not the sword, heard it make a small reverberation.

- Whoo-hoo!

Immediately, the blue energy envelops the knife and extends out sharply.

A blue error appeared on the knife that seemed to cut down anything. The man's eyes widen in horror.

Those who had seen what they heard only spoke took a deep breath. Then, I looked at the tip of Calian's hand with my 'No way' eyes. Calian quietly stood up in front of the man, proving that he was right. He picked up a knife with the same error as the length of the sword and lowered it.

The man shrugs, startled.

"· · · · · ·!"

At that moment, there was no sound.

A knife lowered silently, as if it were any pudding, pierces through the table. Only the blue light lingered like a nightmare.

Beneath the table, I felt a chill in the day of the error that passed between my knees. The man stepped back without me even knowing it. I can clearly see the bare leg with the trousers cut long.

"What are you!"

Kalian bows.

Weep, blood rushes up from within you.

Kalian grabs the corner of the table with both hands to support his body, and his teeth swallow the blood close together.

'You can't do it twice.'

My heart aches like a tear.

Callian barely opens his mouth and pretends to be relaxed.

"Your life in 6,000 florins will change the eyes of a monster."

Your voice trembles. It was meant to endure pain, but all you can hear in a man's ears is to endure anger.

"Madness! The sorcerer!" A hundred men like me. No, a thousand men can't fight! '

A man quickly notices the situation and nods in haste.

Then he glances at the two bosses who crouch behind him with open eyes. It meant to bring him in, and the two of them rushed forward.

Kalian reaches out and grabs the knife.

The knife, which I thought would not withstand the error, was surprisingly intact. The craftsmanship of the craftsman was good, and there must be a reason why the error was expressed and disappeared in such a short time. Kalian is missing.

'I was weaker than Carl.'

Callian is back in his seat. I lowered my head and took a slow breath to hide my sore face.

Five minutes passed, like five years later. The pain was reduced to a reasonably tolerable level. After a longer time than I thought, Calian taps the desk with a knife. The sound seems to diminish the lifespan, causing the man to stumble.

"I'll be back in a minute!"

Immediately after that, the office door opened and the men who had just left jumped in. But there were only two of them. He didn't bring Kyrie. The man asked urgently.

"Where's the kid? Where's the kid?"

"What he says · · · · · · · hina, he won't leave it · · · · · · · ·."

Kalian looks up in surprise. The wind almost took off the hood I was defending.

Hina.

I've heard of it.

'No way, earlier?'

The man opens his mouth urgently as he hears Calian's head.

"You said you'd come with me?"

"Yes. Hina, the same half-breed."

"I don't care, bring him here! Get me two or three of them. Just do it!"

"Yes, yes!"

You hear the sound of running again. It didn't take long this time.

- Cheers.

The door opens again. And there were four of you. One less man's men was Kyrie, and the other Calian was the one I saw a while ago. She was the silver-haired girl who delivered the certificate.

The man who saw them said with a glance.

"Here. Take them all. Go quickly."

Glug, Kalian rises from his seat. Then the man and his men flinched and retreated.

"Follow me. Both of you."

Kalian walks toward the door, saying that he has nothing more to do with the others.

"Ah."

The man sweeps his heart with relief, but Calian suddenly turns back and approaches again.

"Why, what's the matter?"

Callian, standing in front of the man, reaches out his hand.

I was surprised that the man who saw it was difficult.

Have you changed your mind? You want money too? '

Kalian smiles.

"I want my entrance fee and my principal back."

5 Doubloons.

I have to save it.
