"Good job, Murphy."

Bill Rossis came over first, with a smile on his face, "Better than I expected."

"Thank you." Murphy returned with a polite smile.

Following Bill Rossis is Joel Graham. He just glanced at Murphy, but said nothing. Murphy offered to extend his hand and said politely, "Thank you for coming to watch my movie. ."

Joel Graham nodded to this side, shook his hand lightly, turned and walked along the passage towards the exit of the projection hall.

Needless to say, Murphy can also tell that this one is not interested in "Fruit Hard Candies."

The black woman Jones Butler then came over, greeted Bill Rossis first, and smiled at Murphy, "It's a very good movie."

Murphy shook her hand outstretched firmly, "Thank you, I am honored by your compliment."

Compared with these two people, Baker Larsente, who finally walked over, was more casual. He waved to Bill Rossis and Murphy, "Can we talk while walking?"

"Of course." Murphy made a please gesture, leading the way, a few steps to catch up with Joel Graham and Jones Butler who were walking in front, the two of them were being led by Paul Wilson Next, walking outside the theater, he timely invited, "I booked a seat at the Fiero restaurant, do you have time for the three of you?"

"Sorry," Jones Butler said first, "I have to get out of the field."

Joel Graham also shook his head and refused.

The group of people walked out of the theater at this time. The car called by Bill Rossis was already waiting here. After Paul Wilson stepped forward to pull the car door, Jones Butler and Joel Graham quickly got in the car. It looks like it's really going to be on the scene.

After this period of adjustment, Murphy completely recovered his calm, and it is normal to be rejected. Compared with the buyers of these distribution companies, his new director is really a humble little person.

Baker Larsson walked over from behind, but didn't get in the car. Instead, he stopped in front of Murphy. "Director Stanton, your film is very interesting, but the audience is a problem..."

He originally looked at Murphy's face, his gaze gradually moved down, "I personally like this film very much, but considering the audience, it must be carefully considered."

This gaze was a little hot, Murphy felt very uncomfortable, but couldn't say anything.

Baker Larsenter's eyes finally stopped on his strong chest, and the conversation suddenly changed. "Dinner will be avoided. I know there is a bar outside San Tiao Avenue. If we are interested, we can go over and have a drink."

He raised his eyes and looked at Murphy, as if waiting for a suitable answer.

Putting it here, Murphy may not understand the meaning, but now he does not understand.

Without any hesitation, he shook his head and refused, and casually made up a reason, "I'm sorry, I quit drinking."

"It's a pity..." Baker Larsen didn't get entangled, and turned into the car.

Looking at the car going away, Murphy looked calm. Of the three professional filmmakers, at least two would not pay attention to "Fruit Candies" anymore.

He said that he didn't expect anything, that he would attract a peep of glass. He had no objection to comrades, but he lacked the slightest interest in doing basic things.

It is true that if he follows some potential game rules in Hollywood, the road will be smoother, but this does not mean he has to sell himself.

Standing here alone, Murphy turned his head and looked back. On the steps in front of the theater, Paul Wilson and Bill Rossis were standing there, probably not hearing Baker Larsson's words with his face. Somewhat curious.

Not far behind them, there is a middle-aged man looking at this side, he was standing here when he first came out.

The screening of "Fruit Candies" is over. The deserted ones are beyond Murphy's estimation. In the fantasy, the situation of countless distribution companies crying and vying does not appear. It is just the sensible expression of Jones Butler and Baker Larsson. Out of interest, the latter may also abandon the film because of his refusal.

Shaking his head vigorously, Murphy sighed. This road to Hollywood is far more difficult than imagined.

But no matter how difficult the road is, it can't scare him, nor can it stop the determination to climb up. He must break out of his own world in this extremely complicated circle.

Now is just the beginning!

Turning around, Murphy strode back to the theater door. Just stepping up the steps, the middle-aged man behind Bill Rossis and Paul Wilson suddenly walked over and came directly in front of him.

"Hello..." the middle-aged man said politely, "I want to ask, are you the director of "Fruit Candies"?"

"Yes," Murphy looked at him, as if he had seen him in a theater before, vaguely remembering that he had changed seats several times, from the last row to his row, and asked, "May I ask you who?"

"My name is Tony Guzman." As he spoke, the middle-aged man stretched out his right hand, "From the Fox searchlight."

Murphy stretched out his hand and shook it. "Hello, Mr. Guzman, nice to meet you."

This is what he said sincerely. The other party is obviously a professional filmmaker and buyer, and he didn't accept the invitation yet. After watching the film, he took the initiative to find him, indicating that he is at least interested in "Fruit Hard Candies".

"Hello, Mr. Guzman." Bill Rossis on the other side voluntarily moved in and introduced himself, "Bill Rossis, Murphy's agent, from CAA."

Hearing the last name, Tony Guzman took a serious look at Bill Rossis, shook his hand and greeted him.

I have to say that the name of CAA is really loud enough.

"Two..." Tony Guzman asked directly the doubt in his mind, "Who is the producer or investor of the film?"

"The film was made by my Stanton Studio." Murphy knew the purpose of his question. "It all comes from my personal investment, and the copyright is all in the hands of Stanton Studio."

Tony Guzman nodded, "Let's put it this way, Director Stanton, I am a little interested in this film, and I may need to show it with my colleagues later."

"No problem." Murphy took out his business card and handed it over. "Welcome anytime."

After receiving the business card, Tony Guzman put it away and gave Murphy another business card of his own. This time the goal has been achieved and he will not stay anymore.

"I'm going to catch another show." He said goodbye, "I hope we have a chance to cooperate."

Murphy shook his hand and said goodbye, "I also hope to have the opportunity to cooperate with Fox Searchlight."

Sending off Tony Guzman, Murphy didn’t plan to stay anymore. He sealed the film with Paul Wilson and returned to the hotel. Early the next morning, he received a call from Bill Rosses, Jones- Butler wanted to take a few others to watch "Fruit Hard Candies" again.
