Hogwarts Outsider

Chapter 86: caveat

Professor Horace Slughorn turned and left.

Matthew walked into the Slytherin common room alone, and the stone door behind him quickly closed on its own.

In the common room, for the first time so many people appeared.

The soft armchairs by the fireplace were filled with students of all grades, and many people stood by, they were all worried about what happened in the past few days...

And for some lovers, today may be the worst Valentine's Day they have ever had.

Matthew first found the only prefect he was familiar with, Jamal Farley in the crowd.

After pulling her to a remote corner, Matthew told her what Slughorn had said before.

"Do you need a password to leave the common room!" Miss Farley was almost taken aback: "Okay, thank you, Matthew, I will tell the other prefects about this... you also remember, please do Don't pass the password out!"

   "Of course." Matthew nodded.

Then, he returned to his bedroom.

Malfoy, Crabbe, Gore, and Knot are all here, and they all look listless.

Being unable to leave the common room for two and a half days is a bit cruel to these naughty first-year students.

"Let's play wizard chess!" Nott suggested.

This proposal was quickly approved by the other three.

"Matthew, are you coming together?" Malfoy shouted.

"No, let's play!" Matthew shook his head, and then sat down at his desk.

  ……

The other four boys yelled while playing wizard chess happily.

Draco Malfoy is still complaining why his pieces are not as good as they used to be.

The whole bedroom is filled with a happy atmosphere soon.

But Matthew was lying at the desk, lowered his head, thinking about something.

   Hermione and Neville disappeared suddenly...

   This is completely unexpected.

   After lunch, what happened--

Did they really investigate the truth?

Still saying... They were just involved in an accident?

Or... They were involved in the truth because of an accident?

Matthew suddenly became a little upset. It was obvious that the entire storm was about to end, why did such an unexpected situation suddenly appear temporarily!

Ronald Weasley is not dead... Adams and Carlo are not dead... Even Justin Finley will not die...

But it's Hermione and Neville's turn, it might be a little different!

If nothing happened to Matthew now...

So by tomorrow morning, maybe Hermione and Neville will appear in front of them alive...Perhaps, they are about to welcome two corpses!

No, Neville may still be alive; but Hermione, if she is really involved in the truth, then she must die.

  Matthew Wickfield closed his eyes.

In any case, he could not look at the two children and walk towards death.

   He can't be cruel.

Not to mention them, but they truly regard themselves as "friends."

So, he made up his mind!

Suddenly, there was a breeze from somewhere...

Then, Matthew's drawer was affected by a mysterious force and opened by itself!

  ……

"What's the matter, why do I feel there is wind in the room?" Malfoy called out a little fuss.

"It's your illusion, Draco." Nott glanced at him puzzledly: "Why is there wind in the room? Keep playing chess, my elephant will eat your horse!"

"Okay!" Malfoy also felt that it was his illusion and didn't care much about it.

Matthew looked at his opened drawer, he knew who did it.

He took out the quaint book from the drawer calmly, and then slowly opened it.

On the page that opened, a large green line appeared on the face:

"do not go!"

Matthew blinked, but he did not expect that this book would actually "care" about himself.

Normally, it shouldn’t be this kind of wise book, tempting yourself to join the adventure, and you can’t kill yourself...

took out a quill pen from the pen holder and dipped it in ink, Matthew wrote calmly:

   "I must go!"

   waited a moment--

"You don't know what you have to face!"

On the page of the book, the green handwriting appeared again, the handwriting was very scribble, as if it reflected the mood of the book... It was very anxious about this.

   and Matthew wrote calmly:

"Of course I know."

   Shu looks a little angry:

"Then why do you have to make such a dangerous choice?" A series of handwriting appeared on the pages of the book. Due to the large font size, a page could hardly fit: "She is very strong, very very strong...maybe even better than yours. A principal is even stronger!"

   Matthew suddenly smiled:

"Then do you know who she is?"

Shu seems to fall into a short silence:

"do not know!"

   Matthew got wet again:

"But I know, if it weren't true, who would take his life to risk it?"

Shu fell into silence for a while, and then the writing on it said:

"I don't understand, where does your confidence come from?"

   Matthew wrote slowly:

"If you can really perceive the surrounding situation, UU reading www.uukanshu.com then I think you will know it right away!"

   paused, he continued:

"For a truly powerful wizard, his power is not in his magic, but in his wisdom!"

And the handwriting of the book seems a bit mocking:

"Do you think you are a powerful wizard?"

   Matthew smiled again:

"of course not!"

He was about to close the book, then put it in the drawer.

However, at this moment, all the previous writing disappeared.

is replaced by a line of words, the handwriting is very neat, and looks very careful:

   "Take me!"

Matthew seemed to hesitate for a moment, he wrote:

   "This is not necessary!"

   He added another sentence:

"Remember not to hurt my roommate."

Then, he carefully closed the book and put it in the drawer.

  ……

Almost an hour later, the house elves delivered the food to each bedroom.

This is what Professor Slughorn said about dinner.

The students who had been crowded in the common room returned to their dorms to eat.

Malfoy and Knott were eating cold quail while they were playing wizard chess. They were so happy.

And Matthew quietly came to the common room, which obviously became much deserted.

He approached Shimen quietly, and whispered the password while no one was paying attention:

   "Merlin!"

The stone gate was slowly opened.

Matthew got out quickly, breathing the fresh air outside Shimen.
