Hogwarts Outsider

Chapter 41: 1st victim

   Matthew's face changed slightly.

If I remember correctly, Mr. Tang should have taken Crabbe, Gore and Ronald Weasley to the prize showroom.

The prize showroom is much larger than Professor Rozier’s office. It would take at least several times longer to clean it up.

And now on my own side, it's just finished.

Then Mr. Tang suddenly appeared such a strange reaction, does it mean...

Matthew's heart suddenly had a bad feeling.

Navi Longbottom is a Gryffindor who is full of courage...He did not hesitate to drop the broom in his hand and ran to the position where the sound was heard.

Harry Evans did not hesitate to follow him.

But Matthew stood there awkwardly, for a moment.

sighed a little helplessly, and he had to follow.

After all, if there is any accident and staying here alone, it will be more likely to arouse suspicion!

  ……

Soon, they found Mr. Tang at the top of the stairs on the first floor.

There are many students around, although they are backing a little bit.

Although the golden retriever "Mr. Tang" used to be fierce, but it has always been able to score and never hurt people.

But now, it is like a mad dog with rabies, it bites when it sees people.

Several students have been bitten by it.

Mr. Pringle has also heard the news and is trying to subdue it——

It's a pity that Mr. Tang seems to be in a state of denial, grinning at its owner while barking violently.

"Don... Don... Don..." Mr. Pringle whispered his pet's name.

But the only thing that responded to him was barking.

Pringle looked a little angry, and he yelled, "Donald!"

The Golden Retriever shivered suddenly, and Mr. Pringle swooped and caught it.

Matthew, who was onlookers, couldn't help but laugh.

"What's wrong?" Neville looked at him curiously.

"In the Muggle world." Matthew could only explain in a low voice, "This is the name of a very famous duck."

   "That's it." Neville nodded.

Suddenly, he slapped his forehead sharply, as if thinking of something.

He grabbed Matthew and Evans, bent down, and said softly, "Mr. Tang, it seems to be with Ron and two of Matthew's friends who are in charge of cleaning in the prize showroom?"

"It seems to be." Matthew nodded.

"It's awful!" Neville's face changed suddenly: "There may be something wrong with them, let's go and see!"

Involved, he took Matthew Wickfield with one hand and Harry Evans with the other, and ran towards the prize showroom.

Matthew was held back by Neville, unable to get away.

In desperation, he had to keep up with Neville as much as possible.

"I think we should contact the teacher." While running wildly, Matthew said out of breath: "If something happens, we need the teacher's help!"

"You're right!" Neville nodded: "Then Matthew, you are responsible for contacting the teacher, and I and Evans will see what's going on."

This time, he finally released his hand.

  ……

Matthew took a breath, a little thankful that he had come up with this idea.

If something happened in the prize showroom, wouldn’t Neville Longbottom take him to give the head away?

I am just a weak, helpless first-year freshman.

He looked around, the nearest teacher's office...should it be Professor Slughorn?

   No, Professor Slughorn is sick...

The nearest one should be Professor Flitwick on the third floor.

Ma corrected his head and prepared to go to the third floor.

At the first turn, he collided with a witch head-on.

Matthew got up from the ground with a little shame—

"Wickfield?" The witch said coldly, with a bit of surprise in her voice.

   "Ro...Professor Rozier..."

Matthew suddenly realized that he was wrong. Except for Professor Slughorn, the nearest classroom office should be Professor Rozier's.

"Why are you here?" Professor Rozier asked sharply, and she frowned.

"Because Mr. Tang had some accidents suddenly, he became extremely manic and hurt people at the stairs on the first floor!" Matthew quickly recovered his calm and calmly explained:

"And when we were in Mr. Pringle’s room, we heard that Mr. Tang, Crabbe, Gore, and Weasley of Gryffindor should clean up in the prize showroom... Longbottom was worried about the prize showroom. When there was an accident, I rushed over, and I was about to find the teacher... Professor Rozier, would you like to go see it?"

"Prizes showroom?" Professor Rozier frowned, but her dark color also eased a bit.

"Come with me!" She strode towards the prize showroom, her riding boots banging on the marble floor.

  ……

A few minutes later, they came to the prize showroom.

To be honest, the situation here surprised Matthew Wickfield.

Crabbe and Gore, two large men, collapsed to the ground like dead pigs, and they both fainted to death.

But the condition of the two of them is much better than Ronald Weasley.

"Ron... Ron..." Neville shouted Weasley's name there, crying in his voice.

   And Harry Evans, shivering.

Because Ronald Weasley, the poor Gryffindor boy, has fallen in a pool of blood.

There are only two wounds. On his neck, it seems that two small holes have been pierced by fangs... The wound is still bleeding, but the blood flow has become very small.

The boy's eyes are still open, but he can't see any vitality, and his body is constantly twitching and trembling...

Matthew shook his head slightly. It seemed that he had guessed right before. There really was an accident here!

  ……

In addition to Neville and Evans, Ron also has a wizard beside him.

is a teacher. He is holding a magic wand and pointing it at Ronald Weasley's wound, as if trying to heal it.

After hearing the footsteps, the teacher raised his head and revealed a pale, haggard, bloodless face.

   is Professor Troka!
