Chapter Twenty-Seven: Cautious Leonard

In the evening, Leonard quietly left the Leaky Cauldron Bar again and went to the location designated by Midgard.

After arriving at the location, Leonard did not appear rashly at the street entrance, but stood in the shadow where the kerosene street lamp could not be found, observing the movement leading to the alley.

It is not that he is overly cautious, but that he may be subdued by Fenrir instead of killing him in order to prevent Midgard.

In that case, the letter to meet at the designated location in Leonard Road could be a trap.

Leonard would rather be in trouble than bury his young life on a possibility.

At the entrance of the alley leading to the alley stood a middle-aged man who looked silent.

Is that Midgard’s men?

Leonard squinted and waited for a while, during which three people passed by the alley without attracting the middle-aged man’s attention.

Leonard still didn’t move, he began to look around, observing the places where he might ambush people, but his afterglow never left the middle-aged man, lest there suddenly change and he didn’t notice.

After a round, Leonard found no suspicious person.

Just as Leonard was about to use the Disarming Charm to knock the man down before approaching, Midgard walked out of the alley.

Myself also came? Then there should be no problem.

Leonard finally let go of his heart and came out of the shadows.

Seeing this, Midgard showed such an expression.

“I suspect that if I don’t show up, you probably won’t show up.” Midgard smiled, “I am impressed by your caution. ”

“I call it taking responsibility for my own life.” Leonard said.

“Oh? Is it? Then I’m curious, what are you going to do if I don’t show up? Midgard asked curiously.

“I’m going to knock him out and ask who he is.” Leonard glanced at the middle-aged man who was not smiling, and said with a stall hand.

The middle-aged man glanced at Leonard, and his eyes changed slightly.

“You’re really interesting.” The corners of Midgard’s mouth raised: “Let’s go, go to me, find a way, if you can’t send a letter in the future, you can go to me directly to find me.” ”

Midgard led the way in front, and after the middle-aged man broke, the group of three crossed the dimly lit street and came to a courtyard.

There were many people lying in the courtyard, everyone with injuries on their bodies, and the shabby clothes gave Leonard the illusion of coming to the gang.

“These are werewolves?” Leonard looked at them and asked.

“Of course, except for werewolf wizards, even the best relationships of others will not choose to live with werewolf wizards, which has nothing to do with discrimination and is responsible for their own lives.”

Midgard glanced at Leonard, “Just like you, would you choose to live with a werewolf?” ”

“Nope.” Leonard said without hesitation.

“That’s not it.” Midgard shrugged and led Leonard into the house deep in the yard.

The middle-aged man stopped at the door and acted as a guard.

Inside, Leonard and Midgard sat down at a table with a dusty pile of gold coins that looked particularly tempting.

“What’s going on with these galleons?” Leonard asked as he put the white essence in his pocket on the table.

“Oh, these things are the private property of that guy from Fenrir, he buried all the gallons who squeezed his men in the ground.” Midgard pouted, “Stupid. ”

“It’s really stupid, money can only be useful if it is used, otherwise it is just a bunch of good-looking metal.” Leonard agrees with Midgard’s assessment.

This is not to say that not saving money to spend it is a good habit, but money in addition to the necessary buffer money, other money is either used for money to make money, or to improve themselves, simply put good looks is a fool.

For an organization, some benefits, some rewards can effectively improve the enthusiasm and sense of belonging of its subordinates, and squeezing its subordinates to accumulate wealth is simply exhausting its resources.

Is it any wonder that after Fenrir was seriously injured, Midgard said that he was dead, and who died if he did not die?

“By the way, is Fenrir really dead?” Leonard asked.

Midgard glanced at Leonard helplessly: “Dead, it’s true, I cut off his head with my own hands, do you want to show you the head?” ”

“Good.” Leonard nodded without hesitation and added, “It’s not that I don’t trust you, I’m worried that you will be deceived.” ”

Midgard sneered, took out a bloodstained bag from under the table and threw it on the table, “Then take it and see, say it in advance, don’t be scared and can’t sleep at night.” ”

Leonard opened the cloth bag and saw a face with a slump face, even his eyes covered.

Even though he had been prepared in his heart, he was still startled: “How did he become like this?” ”

“His face bone was hammered by me, and he didn’t have time to heal, and that’s how it turned out.” Midgard spread his hands, “Be careful, be scared and can’t sleep.” ”

“I can’t sleep, I just think that Fenrir’s death is extraordinarily strange.” Leonard wrapped Fenrir’s head, “What are you doing with his head so good?” ”

“Take it to the Ministry of Magic to receive the reward, he has a wanted warrant on him.” Midgard said.

“Wanted? How much is he worth? Leonard was a little allergic when he heard the wanted warrant, which was his profession in his previous life after all.
