Chapter 84: Secret room

"Oh, this is incredible." Ron touched his forehead, he felt as if he had discovered something extraordinary.

They found the crying myrtle on the tank of the last toilet inside.

"Oh, it's you," she saw Harry and said, "What do you want this time?"

Harry looked at Cronos, he didn’t know why Cronos brought them here?

"I want to ask, how did you die?" Cronos said, Cronos only remembered that the secret room in the original book was in the toilet of the crying Myrtle. But he didn't mention where it was, and Chronos had to ask Myrtle to find out.

Myrtle changed her whole appearance, she looked like she had never been asked a question that suits her taste.

"Oh, it's terrible." She said with gusto. "It happened here. I died in this small room. I remember it clearly. I hid because they kept making fun of my glasses. The door was locked and I was crying. At this time, I heard Someone came in and they said something strange. I guess it must be a foreign language. Anyway, it was a boy's voice that really attracted me. So, I opened the door and told him to use his own toilet, and then—" Myrtle said triumphantly, her face full of radiance, "I'm dead."

   "Where is it?" Cronos asked.

"It's almost there!" Myrtle said, and she pointed in a vague direction.

Cronos walked over, Harry and Ron following him. Cronos began to check every faucet on the pool. Finally, on the side of a copper faucet, Cronos saw a small snake.

"That's it, Harry. Snake language to it." Cronos said, pointing to the copper faucet.

Harry stared at the small snake carved on the faucet. He shook his head vigorously a few times, and the light of the candle would make the carved snake look real.

   "Open," Harry said.

But Cronos didn't hear these words anymore. It was a sigh of voice, which really sounded like a snake.

"You really are a freak, Harry." said Ron on the side.

In an instant, the faucet was shrouded in a brilliant white light and began to rotate. Then, the sink also began to move. In fact, the sink sank, revealing a pipe, wide enough for one person to slide in.

Cronos glanced at them and said, "Let's go!"

After talking about Cronos, he was the first to slip into the tunnel. The tunnel is filthy, dark, and seemingly endless. He could see many other pipes extending from side to side, but none of them was as large as theirs. Twist, rotate, and slide down steeply. He knew that he had slipped to a position far deeper than the school and the dungeon. He could hear the sound of Harry and Ron slamming down the corner behind him.

"Fluorescence flickers!" Cronos grumbled at the wand, and it lit up again. "Let's go." He said to Ron and Harry. They started to set off, walking on the wet ground, with very loud footsteps.

"Kronos, there is something ahead..." Ron shouted hoarsely, clutching Kronos' shoulder.

They were shocked and watched. Cronos could only see the huge, curved outline of the thing, lying on the corner of the underpass, and it didn't move.

"It's just a huge snake skin! Let's go!" Cronos said, he himself was taken aback by Ron's surprise, and even forgot the plot in the original book.

The underpass turned one turn after another. Finally, when he climbed another bend, a solid wall stood in front of him impressively. Two snakes entwined with each other are carved on the wall, and the eyes are studded with huge shining emeralds.

"Harry, it's up to you." Cronos pushed Harry.

Harry walked forward, only to feel his throat dry. Imagine that these stone snakes are real, their eyes are lifelike.

"Turn on." Ha said with a low, faint hiss.

The wall cracked, and the two snakes separated. The two half walls slid away in balance and disappeared without a trace.

Harry and the others were about to enter when they were stopped by a hand by Cronos.

"Harry, your mission is complete, you don't need you anymore. You don't need to go in." Cronos said without looking back, he felt that his back must be taller in Harry's mind. stand up.

Harry and Ron glanced at each other, and they both saw firmness in their eyes. However, they haven't waited for them to speak.

"If you have to enter, I won't care about you." After Cronos said, he raised his leg and walked into the secret room. Harry and Ron were stunned, and when it came to their senses, Chronos' figure was already drifting away.

Cronos is now standing at the end of a stone chamber. He began to look at the legendary secret room~www.readwn.com~ The stone room was quite big and dimly lit. More stone-carved pythons are wrapped around the towering stone pillars, rising all the way, disappearing into the ceiling in the darkness.

When he reached the last pair of stone pillars, a sculpture the same height as the stone chamber jumped into his sight. The sculpture stands close to the back wall.

Cronos had to crane his neck to see the huge face above: it was quite old, like a monkey, with sparse long beards hanging down to the bottom of the stone robe, and two gray legs standing in the stone room. On the smooth floor. And between the legs, lies a thin figure, face up wearing a black robe. A brown and tousled hair.

"Hermione!" Harry and Ron whispered, rushed to her side, and knelt down. "Hermione, don't die! Please! Don't die!" Harry and Ron were almost crying.

"Hermione, please wake up!" Ron looked at Hermione's pale cheeks in despair, and begged in a low voice. Hermione's head was drooping lifelessly.

Cronos just took a look and knew that Hermione was not dead. There are still ups and downs in her chest, she should have been stunned by a certain spell.

But Cronos didn't find Voldemort's diary around Hermione, this was what scared Cronos. This shows that the real murderer is still hidden in the dark.

Cronos began to walk in the secret room, searching every corner in the secret room.

"Ah~ are you looking for this? Professor Slughorn." A familiar and annoying voice rang from behind Cronos.

Cronos subconsciously touched his hand into the waist inside the robe, where his wand was placed.

"Frozen hands and feet!" But it seemed too late, Cronos felt a sensation of pushing from his back, and he knew he had been hit.
