Hogwarts Card Drawer

Chapter 77: Duel club

"Very good." Professor McGonagall saw that Draco was silent, and that was acquiescence.

"How do you think this should be handled? Professor Snape." Professor McGonagall turned to look at Snape and asked for his opinion.

"Just listen to it!" Professor Snape stopped talking after saying this. He completely handed over the handling of the matter to Professor McGonagall.

Seeing the Harry trio, they all breathed a sigh of relief. Although Professor McGonagall is also very strict, Professor McGonagall is much gentler than the old bat like Snape.

Professor McGonagall nodded, looked at Harry, and they said, "You, Mr. Potter, Mr. Weasley, and Miss Granger. You broke into the professor's room without permission and violated Hogwarts school rules. You guys. Everyone said twenty points were deducted for Gryffindor."

"As for you, Mr. Malfoy." Professor McGonagall looked back at him and said, "You insult your classmates and Slytherin will have to deduct ten points."

"Also, you have to go to Mr. Filch for two weeks of off-campus work for four nights as a punishment."

All four were punished to varying degrees, and the 50 points Harry had just won in the Quidditch match were all deducted by the three of them.

"I really didn't expect that, how dare that mudblood?" Draco had an atmosphere on his face.

"Stop! Draco." Chronos stopped. "How many times have I told you not to provoke them, but you just don't listen. This time, well, did you get into trouble?"

"But I just can't understand the way they are proud." Draco was still angrily, "Especially that Potter, the boy who survived the disaster. What a majesty!"

"Alright, Draco." Cronos patted him on the shoulder. "Porter's fame is not what he wants, I think he wants his parents more than fame!"

Draco was taken aback, and Cronos thought he should understand what he meant. He took him back to the Slytherin common room.

  ...

In the second week of December, Professor McGonagall came to collect the list of students who stayed in school for Christmas as usual. Cronos still signed his name on it, and Draco also signed it when he saw Cronos sign it.

"Have you heard? What duel club is Professor Lockhart going to open?" Draco said.

"When?" Cronos asked. He was too busy these two days to die. On the one hand, he had to prepare teaching materials for the students in the magic circle class. On the other hand, he had to go to Professor Snape every night to help him with some potions. Thanks to Owen, there is no next victim. Otherwise, Cronos' head is almost too big.

"The first party tonight, are you going?" Draco said.

"Tonight?" Cronos pondered for a moment. He had been waiting for Dobby's news recently. But Dobby seemed to have forgotten the task that Chronos gave him, and never contacted Chronos. Chronos intends to use this opportunity to test Lockhart.

"Well, whether you go or not. I can't go anymore." Draco's tone was full of regret, and he would never give up on something that would strike Harry in the limelight.

Cronos smiled, "Who made you make a mistake. How did Filch not make you particularly tired?"

"That's not true!" Draco shook his head, "But I almost vomit when I wipe the trophies in the trophy showroom every day. Especially with Harry and the others."

"Okay, don't complain. This week is the last week, right?" Cronos closed the thick magic book.

"Hmm!" Draco responded, then looked up at the clock hanging on the fireplace. It was almost five o'clock, and he was going to report in Filch's office.

"I'm leaving first, Cronos." Draco's tone was full of reluctance, Cronos could hear it.

"Hmm!" Cronos nodded and watched Draco leave.

At eight o'clock in the evening, Cronos hurriedly walked to the auditorium. The long dining table that had been placed there was gone, and a gilded stage appeared along a wall, illuminated by hundreds of candles floating above. Once again, the ceiling became as dark as velvet. Almost all the students from the school came and squeezed each other. Everyone was holding their own magic wand and looked very excited.

When Cronos arrived, the crowd automatically gave him a day's passage, making him effortlessly come to the middle of the stage.

At this time, Guidro Lockhart walked onto the stage, wearing a fuchsia robe, looking radiant, and beside him was Professor Snape, the dean of Slytherin and the potions teacher of Cronos. Professor Snape’s face was dark, and it was even more vicious and scary in this environment~www.readwn.com~ Lockhart waved everyone to be quiet, and then yelled: "Come around, come around. Everyone can See me? Can you hear me? Great!"

Next, Lockhart was just like the cliche in the original book. He first blew himself up, then invited Professor Snape to the stage, and finally was slapped in the face gorgeously. Cronos watched the whole process with cold eyes, as if Lockhart had turned back into the incompetent liar in the original book.

"Okay, the demonstration is over!" Lockhart said, "Now I come to you and divide you all into two groups. Professor Snape, if you are willing to help me..."

They ran through the crowd, pairing everyone up. What was surprising was that no one wanted to be with Cronos. In the end Lockhart assigned Cronos a fourth-grade student. And this person happened to know Cronos-Cedric Diggory.

A Hufflepuff student and a Seeker for the Hufflepuff Quidditch team. As described in the original book, he is a slender, handsome boy. A boy who often put a smile on his lips.

But he seemed a little excited at the moment. He stretched out his trembling right hand and said, "Hello, Professor Slughorn. I also want to learn your magic circle class, but I am too stupid to pass your test." After speaking, he laughed again.

Cronos had to admit that his smile was contagious, and Cronos couldn’t help but curled his mouth and said, “It’s okay, I know. Slowly, many people will not be able to pass the test, right?”

All right! It is true that Cronos is not very good at comforting people. After saying this, Cronos felt a little embarrassed, but Cedric still smiled and warmed people's hearts.
