Chapter 42: Daily Prophet

"But, Mr. Slughorn. You know, wizards bought 1709..."

"A bill banning dragon raising was officially passed?" Cronos interrupted Fudge. "Don't get excited, Mr. Minister. I did this entirely for academic research. The magic circle I just made allows wizards and magical creatures to sign contracts. Just like me."

Cronos lied, he couldn't tell them that Toothless was summoned from another world.

Fudge pursed his lips, and said impatiently: "Okay! Mr. Slughorn, you should prepare with me first! However, the dragon can't be with you. I will find someone in the Department of Magical Species Control and Management. The people who work take care of it."

"Thank you, Mr. Minister." Cronos shrugged.

There are many people in the main hall. Some of them have cameras from the last century, and some have notebooks ready to record the news. Most of them already know some inside stories.

Cronos came out from behind, with Fudge. As soon as they came out, the reporters moved the camera quickly. Cronos couldn't open his eyes with the dazzling flash, and then looked at Fudge next to him. He was smiling Wei Mimi, and seemed to enjoy this scene.

Fudge stood on the podium, and Chronos was on his left.

"Ahem..." Fudge cleared his throat, and Cronos yawned. He was ready for Fudge's tirade.

  ...

Fudge did not disappoint him, except for the beginning, he talked about Chronos and his magic circle. The rest is all about propaganda of one's own political views. Cronos yawned as he listened.

Cronos went to the Mysterious Animal Control and Management Department and found the toothless boy. The little guy was lying comfortably on the ground. After seeing Cronos coming, he made a "whoop" sound.

Listening to the Ministry of Magic staff say: "The little guy was very impatient when he woke up, but after they fed a few catties of beef. The little guy lay lazily on the ground."

"This is really a mother with milk!" Cronos smiled, then raised his arm. Toothless boy's "huh, huff" flew to Cronos's shoulder with two blows.

Chronos walked fast along the way, ignoring the eyes of the wizards around him. He is too sleepy.

He just wants to go back to the hotel to sleep, but the reality is always so unsatisfactory.

Two figures blocking Cronos, one man and one woman. The man he knew was Barnabas Gouffe, the editor of the Daily Prophet, whom Horace had seen when he took him to the party.

As for the woman on the side, Cronos probably guessed it from her appearance even if she didn't know her. Her hair is made delicate. stiff. The weird big curls, matched with her face with a big jaw, looked particularly awkward. She wore a pair of glasses studded with jewels, her fat fingers clutched a crocodile leather handbag, and her nails were two inches long and painted red. The most important thing is that she also has a green shorthand quill on her body.

This is not Rita Skeeter, who else can it be?

"Hi, Mr. Slughorn. Do you remember me? In the castle, Professor Horace introduced me to you." Gufei stretched out his right hand.

"Of course, I remember you Mr. Coffey." Cronos also extended his right hand.

"Thank you, Mr. Slughorn." Gouffe said. "This is the gold medalist of our Daily Prophet. We want to give you a separate interview. Is that okay?"

Cronos glanced back and forth between the two of them. Of course he knew their purpose. But it is undeniable that the Daily Prophet still has a relatively large influence in the wizarding world.

"Of course, Mr. Goofey." Cronos nodded.

"That's great, Mr. Slughorn. Please come with me." Then Goofy led the way.

They took Chronos to their hotel on the Ministry of Magic. It happens to be the same hotel as Cronos, which really saves a lot of things.

Cronos sat on the sofa, and Goofey poured him a cup of coffee.

"Can you start? Mr. Slughorn." Rita Skeeter couldn't wait, her eyes fixed on Cronos. This is the first exclusive interview of Cronos, and she seems to have seen a steady stream of Jin Jialong entering her pocket.

   "Of course." Cronos nodded.

"Okay. Mr. Slughorn. First question: We know that you are an orphan. You were adopted by your godfather Horace Slughorn when you were seven. You are in this capacity. After being assigned to Slytherin College, will students be bullied on weekdays?"

"Of course not." Cronos refused decisively. "On the contrary, it is because it is Slytherin that I will live well at Hogwarts~www.readwn.com~ Slytherin is the most united One of the colleges."

"At least in unity with the outside world." Cronos added in his heart.

Rita Skeeter was a little disappointed, the image she had originally portrayed for Cronos as a rising genius disappeared. But distorting the facts has always been her strong point.

"Okay. Second question, Mr. Slughorn." Rita Skeeter glanced at the fast moving quill next to her. "For what purpose or reason did you create the magic circle?"

Cronos also wanted to take a quick look at the notes written in a quill, but he didn't see it. Then he rolled his eyes.

"You know, there are always so many geniuses in this world. I am one of them." Cronos said casually, anyway he knew the other party would not report truthfully.

Rita Skeeter gave a dry smile: "Last question. Mr. Slughorn. Many wizards compare you with mysterious people because you are so similar. Same identity, same age, same …And the same talent. What do you think about this?"

Cronos smiled slightly: "I am me, and Voldemort is Voldemort. We are not related in any way."

When Cronos called out the name of that person, the air there obviously froze. Rita and Gufei looked at him in surprise.

"As for?" Cronos didn't understand their fear of Voldemort, so he had to pick up the toothless boy. Back to his room alone.

"Finally, I can sleep peacefully." Cronos threw himself on the bed.

"Boom, boom, boom." Before Cronos could have slippers, his door was knocked again.
