Chapter 30: Forbidden forest

Koronos bid farewell to Malfoy in the common room at eleven that night. Malfoy has been clamoring for Professor Snape to cancel Cronos' confinement punishment.

"I really thank you!" Cronos thanked Malfoy once in his heart.

Chronos walked out of the common room, a cold wind blew, Chronos couldn't help pulling his robe. Although it was now in spring, the common room in Slytherin was damp and wet.

Cronos went downstairs to the hall, where Harry, the others and Filch were already waiting there.

"Come with me." Filch said, with a light in his hand leading the way. Along the way, he was talking about his punishing students. Harry and the others were stunned.

They can't beat through the pitch black field. The moon above their heads is very bright. From time to time, clouds float over to cover the moon and plunge them into darkness.

There was a light not far away, it was Hagrid’s cabin. Then they heard a shout from a distance.

"Is that you, Filch? Hurry up, we're leaving."

Cronos heard Harry and all three of them exhaled heavily. It’s just that this ease didn’t last long, only to hear Filch say: "You probably thought you would have fun with that idiot? Think about it again, kid—you are going to the Forbidden Forest! If you I can come out unharmed, even if I estimate it wrong."

As soon as Filch's voice fell, Ron screamed from the side. Shocked by Cronos, he turned his head and gave Ron a roll of eyes. But it was too dark, I guess he couldn't see clearly.

"Okay, Filch. Your mission is over, now give them to me." Hagrid strode towards them from the darkness, Fang Fang following behind. Hagrid carried his huge crossbow with a full quiver hanging from his shoulders.

"I'll come over tomorrow morning, come... to collect their bodies." Throwing down these words, Filch walked towards the castle with the light on.

"Are we really going into the forbidden forest, Hagrid?" Harry looked at Hagrid.

Cronos heard fear in his trembling voice.

"Um... yes. Unless you don't want to stay at Hogwarts anymore." Hagrid ruthlessly shattered the little hope in their hearts.

Seeing this scene, Cronos couldn't help sighing in his heart: "Harry, Harry! All of this was designed by Dumbledore, otherwise the Forbidden Forest cannot be punished even if the students make a big mistake. what!"

"Okay, Harry. You have to pay the price if you do something wrong." Hagrid comforted Harry from the side. On the contrary, Cronos seemed a little impatient. You know that the Forbidden Forest is so big, you don't know if you can find the Forbidden Magic Stone in one night.

"Okay, come with me!" Hagrid led them to the edge of the forbidden forest, raised the lamp high, and pointed to a path of sheep intestines gradually concealing into the depths of the dense black forest. They looked into the forbidden forest, and a breeze was blowing through their hair.

"Look there." Following Hagrid's fingers, Chronos saw a pool of gleaming things on the ground.

"This is the blood of unicorns?" Chronos once again became interested in the magical species in this world, but it was a pity that his contract cards could not be used.

"Well, we're going to be divided into two groups now, as long as you are with me and Yaya. The animals in the forbidden forest will not hurt you." Hagrid said, "Don't leave the path, Harry and Hermione will be with me. Ron and Ke..."

   "Cronos."

"Oh, yes! Ron and Cronos are still together."

"I don't want it, I want Hagrid with you." Ron was the first to stand up against the team.

"Oh, all right!" Hagrid looked at Harry and then at Hermione. It was obvious that he could not be separated from Harry. Hermione obviously knew this too, and she slapped Ron and came to Cronos's side.

"Okay! If anyone finds a unicorn, it will emit a green spark. If it is in trouble, it will emit a red spark. All right, everyone be careful. Let's go!"

The forbidden forest is dark and silent. They walked in for a while until they reached the fork in the road. Chronos and Hermione walked to the left with Fang, and Harry, Ron, and Hagrid walked to the right.

They walked silently, their eyes fixed on the ground. From time to time, a moonlight shed from the branches above, illuminating a silver-blue blood stain on the fallen leaves.

Hermione walked quickly, and she was obviously still angry about what happened just now.

"Actually, Ron can't be blamed for this. Although Gryffindor is known for his courage, he is only eleven years old, oh no. He is twelve years old."

Hermione didn't speak, but kicked a stone away from her feet to answer Chronos's words.

Cronos shrugged, they walked past a stout stump~www.readwn.com~Cronos could hear the gurgling water, obviously, there was a stream nearby. On the winding road, there are still spots of unicorn blood.

Cronos looked around, and found that he was surrounded by large and leafy trees and some plants that he didn't even recognize. Obviously this is not the place where the Forbidden Magic Stone should be stayed.

"It seems that we still need to search the depths of the forbidden forest!" Cronos looked inside by the moonlight. The front is pitch black, and the trees inside are so prosperous that moonlight can't penetrate it.

They continued to walk through the dense, dark jungle. Chronos was always looking around, looking for what he wanted.

Cronos walked for nearly half an hour, and went deeper and deeper into the forbidden forest. The trees became denser and denser, and the paths were almost impassable. Cronos always felt something was wrong, he seemed to have forgotten something. When he watched the blood on the ground getting denser, he knew that the tree was splattered with blood.

Cronos' head twitched, and he hurried to catch up with Hermione in front of him. I want to go forward and take her out of here, I guess I'm going to meet Voldemort before.

"Damn it! Fool." Cronos scolded himself harshly in his heart, he was too excited tonight.

Finally he saw Hermione under an old tree, he was about to tell Hermione to leave here.

"Whoo!" A dazzling green spark shot from Hermione's wand, and huge green fireworks bloomed in the sky.

But Cronos has no leisure time to appreciate it. He had already seen a figure wearing a hood quickly walking towards Hermione.

Cronos wanted to leave like Yaya. Yes, the dog broke free of Cronos's hand as soon as it saw something was wrong and ran by himself.
