Hogwarts Card Drawer

Chapter 261: Pig head bar

Two weeks have passed since the days at Hogwarts, and Cronos's homework was barely able to be completed on time, even though it was no longer necessary to go to Professor Snape's detention every night. But Chronos was still the prefect of Slytherin, and he still had a lot of work to do.

On the morning when I went to Hogsmeade, it was sunny but windy. After breakfast, they lined up in front of Filch. He wanted to check their names against a long list of parents or guardians who allowed them to visit classmates in Hogsmeade Village.

When Cronos walked in front of Filch, the administrator Filch lowered his rickety waist. He respectfully said in Cronos's ear, "I wish you are in Hogg Maud had a good time, Master Cronos."

Cronos nodded hastily, and then continued to walk forward, to the stone steps, to the cold sunny outdoors.

"Uh, why did Filch sniff you so hard?" Draco asked. At this time, he, Cronos and Daphne were walking briskly on the wide driveway leading to the gate.

"I don't know, I guess he wanted to ask me if I smelled like dung eggs?" Cronos said with a soft smile and half jokingly.

"However, having said that, why are you coming to Hogsmeade suddenly, Cronos, you would never come if you were told to come!" Daphne asked suddenly.

"I don't want to come this time!" Cronos said with a shrug. "Someone asked me to come."

"Who?"

"At that time you will know."

"Where are we going?" Draco asked. "Three broomsticks?"

Hearing the word "three broomsticks", Cronos and Daphne looked at each other in unison, which reminded them of the first time they were on the three broomsticks, which was really embarrassing. Even when I think about it now, Daphne has a big blush.

"Well, no." Cronos thought about the place they agreed in his mind. "She asked me to meet us at the Pig's Head Bar, which is another hotel, another hotel, not on the main road, you don't know. The owner of the hotel is Dumbledore’s younger brother, Aberforth Dumbledore."

"Brother?" Draco seemed to open the door to a new world. "I never knew that Dumbledore had a younger brother. I thought... You know, Dumbledore has one hundred and ten. How old is it."

They walked down the road and passed the Zokos Wizarding Joke Shop. Not surprisingly, there they met Fred, George and Lee Qiao Dan. Passing by the post office, the owls there will leave regularly, and then turn into a small road, at the end of it there is a tavern.

A broken wooden sign hung on a rusty bracket above the door, with a stern boar head painted on it, and its blood dripped on the surrounding white cloth. When they approached, the sign creaked in the wind, and the three of them hesitated at the door.

"It's so dirty, messy, bad endorsement! Are we really going to go in? Cronos." Draco frowned, constantly looking up and down at the falling bar sign.

Although Daphne did not speak, her frowning brows also represented her attitude.

"Go, go in! It's not good to be late." In order to encourage them, Cronos took the lead and walked in.

This is completely different from the three broomsticks. The big bar there gives people a shiny, warm and clean feeling. The Pig’s Head Bar is a small, dark and very dirty room, which smells strongly like goats.

There is a thick layer of dirt on the windows of the bar, so only a small amount of sunlight can penetrate, instead, short, bare candles are lit on the rough wooden table in the room. At first glance, the floor seemed to be compacted mud, but when Cronos stepped on it, he knew that it was actually a stone ground, and it seemed to have accumulated thousands of years of dirt.

Cronos once remembered that his godfather Horace had mentioned the Pig's Head Bar to himself, "You can meet many interesting people in the Pig's Head Bar." He once said so.

He once met a poacher in a pig's head bar, and he exchanged a lot of precious potion ingredients in the hands of the poacher that had disappeared from the market. His godfather Horace not only likes to accept gifted students as his disciples, he also likes to collect some rare potion ingredients.

There is a man in the bar. His whole head is **** with a dirty gray bandage. This seems to be a sign of them here. Even if he can't see his facial features, he can successfully swallow countless cups from a small opening in his mouth. Smoky, hot things.

Sitting at a table by the window were two people with their silhouettes hidden under their headscarves. If they hadn't talked in a strong Yorkshire accent, Cronos would have thought they were dementors. In a shaded corner by the fireplace sat a witch, wearing a thick, black veil that fell down to her feet. They could only see the tip of her nose because it slightly protruded from the top of the veil.

While Cronos and the others were still looking at this strange bar, the bar owner came out from a back door sideways and greeted them.

He is a grumpy-looking old man with a lot of long gray hair and beard. He was tall and thin, and Cronos had seen him outside of Dumbledore's meditation basin before, but he was not like he is now.

"What do you want?" he muttered.

"Please come three bottles of Butterbeer. UU read www.uukanshu.com," Cronos said.

The man bent over and Cong took out three dusty and filthy quilts under the counter, and placed them heavily on the bar.

"Six Sikhs," he said.

"I'll pay it!" Cronos said quickly, passing the silver coin over. Cronos saw him put the money in an old wooden cash drawer, and the drawer automatically slid open and swallowed the money in.

Cronos looked around. The man wrapped in dirty gray bandages knocked on the counter with his knuckles, and got a smoky drink from the barkeeper.

"Is there anyone upstairs?" Cronos asked the barkeeper, looking at the inconspicuous staircase.

"Some Hogwarts students like you went up not long ago." The bar owner seemed to have expected Cronos to ask that. He wiped his hands with a piece of rag without raising his head. Replied the glass of wine.

"Thank you." Cronos suddenly raised his head and drank most of the remaining glass of butter beer, then put the glass on the counter in front of the boss and walked upstairs.
