Hogwarts, a Scholar Becomes a God

Vol 6 Chapter 4: conversation on the train

The next morning, Clark got up and got dressed, then woke Harry up and went downstairs to breakfast together.

Harry got up and got dressed and persuaded the restless Hedwig back to her cage when Ron burst into their room.

He was trying to pull a long-sleeved shirt over his head with an exasperated look on his face.

"I'd love to get on the train," he said angrily, "at least until Hogwarts can get rid of Percy, and now he's scolding me for dripping tea on his Penello picture."

"You know," Ron grimaced, "that's his girlfriend..."

"I have something to tell you..." Harry was interrupted by Fred and George, who came in to congratulate Ron on annoying Percy again.

Clark frowned. He suddenly found that Percy had changed a lot after becoming the student council president, and his relationship with his brother had become more and more estranged.

Sure enough, power and status is a poison that can make people arrogant and lose their ability to judge.

Clark followed Harry and the others downstairs. At the same time, he was still secretly alert, reflecting on himself and seeing what he had not done well recently.

The four of them came downstairs. Mr. Weasley was already sitting at the table reading the front page of the Daily Prophet.

Mrs. Weasley was talking to Hermione and Ginny about a love potion she made when she was young, and the three of them kept giggling, and Hermione gave Clark a sneak peek.

"What were you trying to say?" Ron asked Harry as they sat down.

"We'll talk about it later," Harry whispered as Percy came in aggressively, giving Ron a hard look.

What followed was hectic and chaotic, and Harry didn't get a chance to speak to Clark or Ron again.

Everyone hurriedly moved all the boxes down the narrow stairs of the Leaky Cauldron and piled them up at the gate.

After tossing back and forth several times, Clark even had to use a little trick to reduce the weight of the salute, and then he managed to pack things up when the Ministry of Magic's car arrived.

"Here they are," Mr. Weasley poked his head in from the door. "Come on, come on."

It was two old-fashioned dark green cars, the drivers were mysterious wizards in bright green velvet suits.

Clark looked at their taut arms, then glanced vaguely at their cuffs, and immediately judged that these two were elite Aurors from the Ministry of Magic.

"You go first, Harry, in the first car."

Mr. Weasley strode Harry down the short sidewalk, looking nervously on both sides of the street from time to time.

Harry was so obedient that he got into the back of the car, and soon, Hermione, Clark and Ron also got in one by one.

None of them spoke, and even the dullest people had something wrong with them.

Fortunately, after the car was started, the journey to King's Cross Station was uneventful and there were no accidents.

The two Ministry of Magic cars looked nothing special, but Clark noticed that they could pass through any narrow gap without difficulty, and it was clear that the two cars had been enchanted as well.

When they arrived at King's Cross, there were still more than twenty minutes before the train drove.

The driver of the Ministry of Magic helped them find their luggage cart, unloaded their suitcases, gave Mr. Weasley a veiled hat-thumb, and drove away.

Somehow, they even jumped to the front of the line of cars waiting there because of the red light.

On the other side, Mr. Weasley walked into the station next to Harry, staying close to him for a moment.

"Okay, there are too many of us, come two by two, Harry and I go first."

He looked around, then pushed Harry's trolley across the wall between platforms 9 and 10 with Harry.

"Hermione, Clark, second of you.

Percy, Ron, you're behind..."

Clark and Hermione trotted along with their trolleys, and in the blink of an eye they were past the solid wall to the (nine and three-quarters) platform.

On the track, a bright red steam locomotive was blowing smoke, and the platform was crowded with witches and wizards who came to take children to school.

This gives people a sense of time and space reversal, returning to the era of big steam.

Percy and Ron suddenly appeared behind Clark, panting and apparently running through the partition.

"Hey Penello!"

Percy, who had just stopped, suddenly shouted, and then reached out and stroked his hair, and his face turned pink again.

A tall, senior witch with long curly hair turned her head.

Percy immediately strode toward her, deliberately keeping her chest high so that the girl could see the shiny student council president badge on her chest.

Seeing the very similar expressions of Percy and the male peacock who opened the screen, Clark and Hermione looked at each other and both turned around and snickered.

Behind them came the twin brothers and Mrs Weasley and Ginny.

Everyone got on the train, passed through the compartments that were full of people, and finally came to a relatively empty compartment at the rear of the train.

Mr. Weasley helped them put the boxes on, and then everyone got off the train one by one and came out to say goodbye to the Weasleys.

Mrs Weasley kissed her children one by one, then Clark, Hermione, and finally Harry.

She gave Harry an extra hug, and Harry looked a little embarrassed, but still very happy.

"You gotta take care, you know, Harry?" she said, straightening up, her eyes twinkling strangely, and she started handing out the sandwiches she made to the children.

And Mr. Weasley called Harry aside and whispered to him.

The train's whistle let out a long whistle, as if urging the little wizards to get on the train quickly.

"Arthur!" cried Mrs. Weasley, who was already taking care of the others on the train. "Arthur, what are you doing? The train is going!"

There was another loud whistle, and the guard came along the train, closing the doors one by one.

"Arthur, hurry up!" cried Mrs Weasley again.

The locomotive spewed steam and began to move forward slowly.

Harry hurried to the door and jumped on the train, greeted by Ron, with a confused and uneasy expression on his face.

When the train was fully moving, the train turned a corner and the Weasleys were no longer in sight.

He whispered to Clark and Hermione and Ron, "I need to talk to you privately!"

"Go away, Ginny!" Ron waved, trying to drive Ginny away.

"Oh, that's not bad," said Ginny angrily, and turned to leave, but was stopped by Clark.

"It's okay, I believe Ginny knows what to say and what not to say. She is still very reliable."

Clark's words made Ginny lift her head with pride, and Ron opened his mouth, speechless.

The five walked down the aisle until they reached the last carriage where they put their luggage.

There was only one person in that compartment, a man who was sleeping by the window.

The little wizards stood at the door and looked.

The Hogwarts Express is usually a student car, and they haven't seen any other adults on the train except the witch who pushes the cart to sell food.

"Who do you think he is?" Ginny asked in a low voice curiously, as they closed the sliding door and sat down in the seat furthest from the window.

Clark looked the stranger up and down.

He was wearing a tattered wizard robe, which had been patched in several places.

But even so, his clothes are still clean and tidy, the corners and cuffs are ironed very flat, and the gray sideburns are carefully combed.

So even if he looks ill, people will not have any rejection of him, but they are a little worried about him.

A poor man with a hard life but full of hope for the future!

Clark's heart secretly made a conclusion for him.

"Professor r.j. Lupin," Hermione whispered from the side.

"How did you know?" Ron asked.

Hermione pointed to the luggage rack above the man's head and replied, "It's written on his suitcase."

On the luggage rack, there was a small tattered leather suitcase, with many ropes tied outside and neatly tied in a knot.

R.J. Lupin's name is printed on the corner of the case, the letters are a little peeling.

"I wonder which class he teaches?" Ron frowned, looking at Professor Lupin's lifeless figure.

But after asking, he immediately regretted it, because he found that several other people were looking at him with an idiot look.

"That's a question," Hermione whispered. "There's never enough professors at Hogwarts, right?"

"Defense Against the Dark Arts!" Clark said softly.

They've changed two Defence Against the Dark Arts teachers in the past two semesters.

Quirinus Quirrell, and Gilderoy Lockhart, both taught for only a year.

There are rumors that the job was cursed by Voldemort.

Now it seems that in the face of the pressure of life, the ethereal curse can't stop Lupin at all, and the position of professor at Hogwarts is an opportunity for him.

"Well, I hope he's up to the job." Ron quickly changed the subject, "Harry, what were you trying to tell us?"

Harry then repeated what he had heard last night, the Weasleys' quarrel about Black, and what Mr. Weasley had warned him just now.

He just finished speaking, Ron was stunned, and Ginny covered her mouth with her hands.

Only Clark and Hermione seemed to be as calm as ever.

Ginny persuaded with a worried look: "Sirius Black escaped to find you? Oh, Harry... You must be very, very careful. Don't look for trouble, Harry..."

"I'm not looking for trouble," Harry said angrily, "but trouble always comes to me."

He thought of Dobby last year, and this year's Sirius Black.

"Go find a lunatic who's trying to kill him, isn't Harry stupid?" said Ron, shaking.

Harry didn't expect them to take the news so seriously, and both Ron and Ginny seemed to be more afraid of Blake than he was.

So he turned his attention to Clark, as if he would be safe as long as he was there.

Clark did not live up to his expectations, and said very calmly:

"This thing is actually not that terrible, after all, what we are going to next is Hogwarts, the safest place in the world.

There was the greatest white wizard in the world, Headmaster Dumbledore, and I don't think anyone could easily take Harry away under his nose. "

Well, Clark admits he's full, and Dumbledore isn't omnipotent either.

At least in the original book, Harry was taken out of school by Voldemort when he was in fourth grade, but who knows about this now?

"But no one knows how he escaped from Azkaban," said Ron, still somewhat disturbed.

"It's heavily guarded, no one has ever been able to do it before, and he's still a heavily guarded prisoner."

"But they'll catch him, won't they?" Hermione analyzed earnestly on the side. "I mean, the Ministry of Magic has launched Muggles, and specially arranged people to protect Harry..."

"Protect Harry, who?" Ron said in surprise.

Ginny finally had room to express at this time, "Brother, can't you use your brain? With our father's status in the Ministry of Magic, how could it be possible to mobilize two cars to send us to school, they are all from the Ministry of Magic. arrange."

"The two drivers who drove were Aurors from the Ministry of Magic, as evidenced by the thick calluses in their hands." Clark added.

Ron's ears turned red again, but after listening to Clark's analysis, the worries of the other little wizards seemed to ease a lot.

At least they were starting to have time to talk about their upcoming third year life, for example, a fall trip to Hogsmeade.

"Leaving school for a while and exploring Hogsmeade, that's great, isn't it?" Ron said excitedly.

"Probably," said Harry sullenly. "When you feel that way, be sure to tell me."

"What do you mean by that?" said Hermione.

"I can't go, the Dursleys didn't sign my permission form, and Fudge wouldn't sign it either." Harry spread his hands helplessly.

"Even if your uncle and aunt sign the permit form, you can't go!" Clark's words stabbed Harry in the heart again~www.readwn.com~ Black is still outside, the professors will not let You left Hogwarts. "

Hermione and Ginny nodded in agreement, and Ron was about to say that Fred and George knew the secret passage to the outside of the castle, but they couldn't say it at this time.

"Yeah, I think if I went to ask Professor McGonagall for approval, she would have said the same," Harry said gloomily.

"Actually, Hogsmeade Village may not be so fun this year," Clark said suddenly, pretending to be mysterious.

"why?"

Hermione and the others looked at him curiously, but Clark didn't answer. Instead, he sold out, "You'll find out at the school opening banquet."

Ron was about to ask, when Professor Lupin moved suddenly.

They looked at him worriedly, but saw that he just turned his head to the other side, opened his mouth slightly, and went back to sleep.
