Zhou Xiaoxiao’s heart felt bitter for a moment before it ached. While holding onto Yu Xingzhi’s cold fingertips, she looked over at the warm light.

She sunk into a difficult situation.

She couldn’t help but tighten her grip on the dragon scale; the edge of it had slashed her palm. The red blood dyed the dragon scale’s light and it dripped into the river.

A cold light rose from the surface of the river and immediately drowned the two people holding their hands tightly.
