Give Me the Name of God

Chapter 51: Old friend

Zarik made a whistle, and a group of coolies who were responsible for carrying grain walked into the yard. These coolies are generally performed by the white ducks, but they did not expect that the people who were closest to the name of the gods are among them.

Pluto, dressed in coarse linen and a dirty blindfold, followed the crowd into the yard.

After that terrible disaster, Manda never saw Pluto again. The three-headed dog said that his eyes were blind. Manda thought it was just an exaggeration. He always thought that Pluto's eyes were just injured.

But he only knows now that Pluto is really blind and has lost all his skills. There is only a little divine power remaining in his body, which allows him to roughly perceive the surrounding environment and barely do some hard work in the valley.

Worm's body was shaking. Like Manda, he hadn't seen Pluto for a long time.

"Why, how can I treat him like this..."

Zalik laughed and said: "We don't need useless people in the valley. It is the earl's kindness to let him live to this day.

Bruto picked up a bag of grain and staggered towards the door. Zaryk deliberately stretched out a foot, staggered Bruto, and fell to the ground together with the grain.

Zarik stepped forward and kicked Pluto: "Useless idiot, what else can you do?"

Bruto struggled to stand up. Zaryk wanted to step forward and kick again, only to find that his ankle was entangled in insect silk.

Zaryk turned his face to look at Worm, frowned and squinted, revealing a more awkward expression: "Old bug, what do you want to do?"

The voice fell to the ground, and Manda suddenly appeared in front of Zaryk, put his hand on his stomach, and cut his clothes with his fingers, but did not cut his flesh.

The sudden coolness made Zaryk shiver, both of whom are Tier 1 and his combat experience is far worse than Manda.

"You, what do you want to do?"

Manda smiled and said: "We want to accompany our old friends for a drink, but don't want to be disturbed by others. I heard that you brought the earl's order, so please say hurry up."

   "You, stay away from me!"

Manda retracted his finger, and Worm took back the insect silk. Zaryk sorted out the damaged clothes, and said to Worm angrily: "Earl told you to take the Viscount's son and nephew to the valley before the new year!"

Worm didn't want to go to the Viscount's Castle, Manda took care of the business and couldn't get out of it. This matter has been delayed until now.

"Tell the earl to send those two people away tomorrow. Anything else?"

Zarik said: "The earl asks you to be careful and don't cause trouble anymore."

   "Are there any more?"

Zaryk wanted to disgust them a few more words, but looking at Worm's dark pupils and Manda's weird smile, he opened his mouth for a long time, but didn't say a word.

He did not dare to offend the earl’s confidant, nor did he want to offend the evil boy, so he shouted at Bruto: "Blind, what are you doing here? You broke the sack, so quickly move the food. stand up!"

"Pluto, come here." Worm pulled Pluto to his side.

Zarik stared at Worm with wide eyes: "He's here to work!"

"There is no shortage of work by your side," Manda smiled, "Let's have a drink with an old friend, and you can come together."

"I'm not as free as you guys!" Zarik glared at Bruto, then turned to the carriage and counted the food.

Worm took Pluto to the private room on the second floor. Manda poured Pluto a glass of wine. Pluto drank a glass in one breath, wiped his mouth and said: "It's Worm's wine, I remember This smell."

Worm’s eyes rolled, Manda knew he wanted to cry, but he couldn’t shed it. He poured Pluto another glass of wine. Pluto drank half of it and spit it out. He was sobbing, but he couldn’t shed it either. Tears.

The three people sat in silence for a long time, and Worm thumped the table and said: "Stay here, I'll go to the count, and beg him to let you stay here and live with us."

Bruto raised his head, and a smile appeared on his face. Although his beard and hair were messy and his face was dusty, this smile could still see the handsome face of the past.

"Thank you for your kindness, old friend," Pluto laughed. "The count will not let me leave the valley. You know, there is one thing in me that the count wants...I will live, Leonde and Horna takes care of me very much. It doesn’t matter if I can’t live anymore, and it’s a relief if I die. Before crossing the Styx, I might still be able to see and see my natal god..."

Manda cuts a piece of bacon for Pluto. Pluto put the bacon into his mouth and nodded and said: "It's delicious, it's really delicious. Yesterday Leonde found some for me. Bacon, but it's still not as delicious as Worm."

"I'm sorry." Manda added another glass of wine to Pluto.

Bruto held the glass for a while without speaking.

"It’s not your fault. You don’t know what the real golden apple looks like. I never hate you. I just sometimes think, if you can go back to that day, if you can tell me, tell me the golden apple. ..." There were no tears, but Pluto cried out.

The three of them drank a whole jar of wine, and Zarik’s urging sound came downstairs: "Blind! Have you had enough? It's time to go!"

Worm wanted to go downstairs to teach Zaryk a lesson, but Manda stopped him and gave him two silver coins.

"Give this to Zaryk, at least this way will make Pluto feel better."

Watching Pluto stumble into the carriage and slowly disappear into the night, Worm returned to the warehouse without a word, and Manda continued to the counter to count the money.

At dawn the next day, Manda pulled the Maxima out of the stable.

Warm touched the horse's mane: "Are you going to ride it to the Viscount's castle?"

"I can't ride, I have to lead it. This is a gift for the Viscount." Manda carefully groomed the horse.

"Give it away for nothing?" Worm said with surprise, "Someone had sold six gold coins before, and you couldn't bear to sell them."

"That's why this horse is worthy of the Viscount."

"Why do you want to give Gesak a gift? We don't owe him anything, and the earl allowed his son and nephew to enter the valley. This is a great gift." Worm couldn't understand Manda's thoughts, and Manda said more than once. However, this horse can be sold at a sky-high price.

"Earl’s gifts come from Earl, our gifts come from us, Earl’s everything belongs to Earl, and our everything..."

"Everything we have belongs to the earl!" Worm showed two teeth, which was a warning to Manda.

Manda smiled and took the reins: "Yes, we also belong to the earl, including our lives and everything on our body. I am curious, what exactly is the thing that Pluto said?"

"you do not need to know."

"Do I have that thing too?"

"I won't tell you." Worm turned back to the warehouse, and Manda led the steed out of the tavern.

  ……

Manda waited for a while in the hospitality room of the castle~www.readwn.com~ Fat knight Stanley greeted him warmly.

"Master Viscount likes your horse very much. It is really a good horse. Why haven't I noticed it before? I'm willing to buy it for twenty gold coins."

"I will pick a good horse for you again." Manda leaned forward and bowed.

"This is a reward from the earl," Stanley gave Manda a small bag of gold coins, and then he was carried out a box of gold coins, "this is a gift for the earl, the carriage is ready, let's set off."

Is this leaving now? Don't tell me to invite me in for a cup of tea? Manda looked at Stanley in surprise, he didn't seem to understand the purpose of this trip.

"I'm here to pick up two young masters..."

"The two young masters are already waiting for you in the carriage."

just left? This is too sloppy, but this is a son, the Viscount didn't send it out himself?

Manda got into the carriage and saw two gorgeously dressed teenagers sitting in the carriage.

"Mr. Nidali, hello." The two boys saluted Manda.

Manda waved his hand again and again: "I'm just a civilian."

A young man said: "You are a believer of the ancient gods, and we respect you very much."

Another boy said: "We will abandon the identity of the nobility and follow the Lord Earl wholeheartedly."

"You will definitely be favored by the gods." Manda nodded approvingly, and made a cross-eyed cross-eyed between talking and laughing.

These two boys, one is worth thirty silver coins, the other is worth twenty-eight silver coins and more than thirty copper coins. Although their origins cannot fully represent the value of people, Manda can be sure that they are definitely not aristocrats.

This is a guinea pig sent by the Viscount. It's hard for them to escape the earl's eyes. Are they really going to send them to the valley?
