Chapter 1 Cheat Code That Delayed for Four Years

On the campus of the Blue Vine University of the White Eagle Republic, Odin was sitting on a bench while reading a thick book.

There was no expression on his calm face. When the wind blew through his white shirt, his healthy muscles were exposed and his sky-blue eyes were staring at every word in the book. Even his blonde hair fell down but all of this did not affect his reading.

No one noticed Leo’s gaze was not focusing on the book, instead, it was one centimeter above the thick book as if there were flowers.

However, there were no flowers at all. It was an attribute window that no one else could see.

The numbers on it were everything about Odin.

Looking at these attributes, Odin felt excitement and wanted to jump around. If not for the stress from these four years making him suppress his thoughts within his heart, his expression might change.

Odin’s original surname was Ding and he was an ordinary player. Four years ago, a game dubbed the fantasized version of Westward Expansion was suddenly abandoned by the developers.

For some unknown reasons, Odin was left behind and forever trapped in the “game”. The background of his original game character was used. This background was great in all aspects except his name was a bit weird.

Now when everyone called his name Odin, he felt it was similar to someone in China who called him the Jade Emperor.

In order to search for his way back, in these past four years, Odin had tried everything he could to find all kinds of news. However, he could not find anything and was targeted by the White Eagle Republic’s personnel. If not for him attending Blue Vine University, maybe he would be captured by now.

From these incidents, Odin knew this world was similar to the original settings, in which the White Eagle Republic just experienced the Civil War of Magic Reformation.

However, this world tightly managed extraordinary power. Anything related to extraordinary power would be closely monitored.

Odin was under surveillance for three years due to him asking around about news of extraordinary power. It was until some time ago finally did the surveillance relaxed.

Odin originally thought this would be his life. However, when he was reading a book today, his eyes went blind for a moment and an attribute window popped out all of a sudden.

He calmly pretended to be tired from walking and he sat on a nearby bench. He opened the advanced physics textbook in his hand and pretended to study there.

In actuality, he was observing whether there was anyone in the surroundings monitoring him or not.

After a long time, Odin found out there was no one suspicious. As he was standing, a person rushed at him. “Odin, why are you here? Aren’t you supposed to be in Teacher Carter’s laboratory?”

Looking at the person rushing to him, Odin felt a bit weird. This person was his classmate, Leo, and was one of Teacher Carter’s students. His relationship with Leo was ordinary. It was Leo who informed him that Teacher Carter wanted to see him.

If not for suddenly finding out the attribute window, Odin would be in Teacher Carter’s office by now. But what kind of situation was with Leo’s expression? He seemed a bit impatient and wanted Odin to hurry up.

The cautious Odin thought a bit, “I originally wanted to go there. When I reached here, I suddenly felt a bit dizzy and felt it was ischemia. Thus, I sat down here for a rest and ate something. Who would’ve thought the weather was greater? I was too engrossed in reading the books. Sorry about that. That’s right, why did Teacher Carter want to look for me?”

This situation made Odin have suspicions. He silently stood and put the book back into his bag. He picked up his bag and was preparing to follow.

As Odin was standing up, his leg tripped forward, and knelt on the floor. This made Leo speechless and grabbed Odin up, “What’s your problem?”

“Nothing, my leg sprained. I need to go to the infirmary to have a look.” As Odin said that he pressed on Leo’s shoulder as if struggling to stand up.

At this moment, Odin felt Leo was holding his hand as if protecting himself and did not want Odin to leave his control.

There’s a problem. This thought flashed through Odin’s mind. Thus, he pressed Leo’s shoulder making Leo unable to hold onto his arm, and said, “I feel a bit uncomfortable, I really want to go infirmary and have it a look. Please help me inform Teacher Carter I will look for him tonight.”

“Impossible, Teacher Carter has work tonight. He’s waiting for you right now, let’s hurry.”

Leo became furious as he pushed Leo away, “Are you deaf? I said I felt uncomfortable. Even if there’s a matter, let me rest for a bit. What if I die, your responsibility?”

Odin’s loud voice attracted the surrounding students. Although those students did not gather around, they still looked over and wanted to see what happened.

All of a sudden from the direction Leo came, there was a scream and chaotic noise.

“Murder! Something happened to Teacher Carter.”

“The culprit is still around. Everyone, chase after him.”

When Odin heard this, he looked at Leo and grabbed Leo’s hand.

“What is happening? A moment ago you were telling me Teacher Carter is looking for me, now something happened to him.” Just as Odin spoke, every student looked at Leo.

Leo’s face turned pale. He struggled and broke free from Odin’s grasp. He pushed back Odin and said, “It’s all your fault! Why are you late? If you were not late, the murderer will be you and the teacher won’t die in vain. You vermin, die!” Leo spoke as he punched straight at Odin.

Odin, as if scared, was not dodging.

However, he was not scared, instead, he was stunned by what he saw. Just as Leo was punching, something happened to him and his skin became a faint red color.
