Chapter 6 Working hard

laugh! Snapped!

Huang Junjie looked at the test object that was sparking and crackling, and quickly took out the carbon dioxide fire extinguisher on the side.

puff!

Some dry carbon dioxide gas immediately covered the test object.

"Phew! Failed again." He smiled bitterly.

Although he had the theoretical principles of a thunderstone battery, he kept failing due to incomplete production data.

The manufactured batteries are either unstable or cannot be charged by a piece of scrap metal.

He finally realized how awesome it was to have nanorobots in his parallel time and space. How incredible it was to be able to directly observe the internal structure of objects and adjust the molecular structure of matter anytime and anywhere.

Although the mine storage stone battery in the parallel time and space was made in a factory, the other one definitely played an indispensable role.

But now he is struggling. The manufacturing of thunder stone batteries is divided into twenty-six steps, or twenty-six process links.

There are five most critical process links, each of which is indispensable, but just two of the key process links are missing.

So now he can only continue to try to complete these two key process links based on the general summary.

Of course, he also hopes that in these times, the memories transmitted from parallel time and space will contain relevant information on these two key process links.

However, by the middle of August, there was nothing in the memories that had been transmitted.

He could only keep trying and keep working hard.

the other side.

Li Jianhua has not been idle either. He has been in eastern Guangdong for more than half a month, inspecting battery companies.

Judging from the inspection situation, many small and medium-sized battery companies are generally poorly managed, and only a few are profitable.

This is mainly due to the current very strict governance environment, which has led to policy tightening. After all, the environmental pollution discharge of many small and medium-sized battery factories does not meet the standards.

Coupled with the fact that their technology is backward and large battery companies are attacking the city, they will be eliminated by the times sooner or later.

In particular, powerful large-scale battery companies such as Lishen, CATL, and BYD account for more than half of the battery industry. Many small and medium-sized battery manufacturers simply do not have much money to make.

Taking a lithium battery for mobile phones as an example, the production cost of the battery itself is about 21 yuan. With the casing and other components included, the overall cost is about 26 to 28 yuan.

The retail price is about 35 yuan. Subtracting the wholesaler's profit, the ex-factory price of the battery factory is about 28 to 30 yuan, which means the profit is less than 10%.

This also takes into account the depreciation of the production line, rising raw material prices, rising labor costs, etc. If you are not careful, you will seriously lose money.

In other words, in the current environment of great waves and waves, current small battery factories are generally not operating well.

This greatly reduced the difficulty of Li Jianhua's inspection.

After all, these small battery factories are not running well, so the purchase price will not be too high when the time comes. What's more, Huang Haojie can also do without the site and battery production line, so the purchase price is estimated to be even lower.

More than half a month passed in the blink of an eye.

In Huang Junjie's temporary laboratory in the west of Shanmei City.

"Haha! Success!" Huang Junjie looked at the silver-gray test object in front of him excitedly.

He finally completed the two key process steps with the help of this summary of the thunder stone battery.

After testing, the battery’s energy storage capacity reached 1.2 kWh/kg. What is the concept?

Let’s compare the current storage capacity of lithium batteries. The current storage capacity of lithium batteries is generally between 0.15 and 0.18 kWh/kg.

In other words, the power storage capacity of this test battery is equivalent to 6.6 to 8 times that of ordinary lithium batteries.

Today's electric cars can run 150 to 200 kilometers on a full charge. Of course, Tesla may have a higher range, but it will not exceed 300 kilometers.

If it is replaced by the battery in front of Huang Haojie, the cruising range of the electric vehicle will reach between 1,000 and 1,400 kilometers.

In addition, this battery has some advantages that other batteries do not have.

With fast charging, at a voltage of 220 volts, this battery of about ten kilograms can be fully charged in almost five minutes. Although it is weak compared to the original version, for other companies, this is an instant kill.

Another issue is production cost.

Take Tesla as an example. Its Tesla Model S battery pack board looks very high-end, but it is not.

Its battery pack board is composed of 16 battery packs connected in series, and each battery pack is composed of 444 lithium batteries, each with 74 cells connected in parallel. Therefore, the Tesla Model S battery pack board consists of 7104 18650 lithium batteries.

Each 18650 lithium battery weighs 44 grams, and the total weight of 7104 18650 lithium batteries is about 312 kilograms.

Tesla's batteries are produced by Panasonic. The retail price of a 18650 lithium battery is about 10 yuan, assuming a profit of 30%.

In other words, the production cost of one kilogram of 18650 lithium battery is about 160 Chinese yuan.

If we take the domestic BYD Tang hybrid car as an example.

Tang's battery pack weighs about 200 kilograms and costs about 22,000 Chinese yuan.

In other words, BYD’s battery cost is about 110 Chinese yuan per kilogram.

So what is the approximate production cost of the battery produced by Huang Haojie? He made a rough calculation and found that when produced in the laboratory, it is about 85 to 90 yuan per kilogram; if mass-produced, this cost can be reduced to 30 yuan per kilogram. Below Hua Yuan.

In other words, the cost of the battery he produced is less than one-fifth of the 18650 lithium battery. Even if the domestically produced ones cannot be sold at a high price, he sells them for 100 yuan per kilogram and still has a profit of more than 70%.

Of course, he wouldn't do it if he sold it for 100 yuan.

But now he is not thinking about how much to sell, but how to weaken the battery performance and prevent piracy.

Everyone else is thinking about how to increase the battery capacity, but he has to think about how to weaken the battery capacity. This is fucking cheating.

However, in order not to disappear from the world, he had better weaken the battery performance obediently.

As for the issue of anti-piracy, some people may say that there is no patent law? If you really think that everything will be fine after registering a patent, I can only say that you think the world is too simple.

Once someone knows the production process, others will change it, or add some irrelevant content, and then register a patent.

Especially those giants like to do this kind of thing. If you say that I pirated you and infringed on your patent, that's fine! Come and file a lawsuit!

When the lawsuit is over, it is guaranteed to drag on for three to five years, making you want to die, and the small company may be dragged to death; or if you can only reach an out-of-court settlement with them, they may give you some leftovers.

Therefore, the patent must be registered, but the process, especially the key process, must be firmly in your own hands.

Fortunately, among the five key process steps, there are two very strange places. One of them is the special treatment of the tin frame. The tin frame must be soaked in a special catalyst solution and then energized.

The solution concentration, power-on voltage, and power-on time all have special data, and even one difference will not work.

This kind of catalyst was specially prepared by him based on the manufacturing principle of mine storage stone batteries. There is no such catalyst on the market at all.

Huang Junjie looked at the flow chart of the twenty-six process steps and could break down at least hundreds of key points. If there is a problem with one of these key points, the battery will be scrapped.

Focus on including three special catalysts and eight very strange processes into the links that need to be kept secret.

After all, it is essential to be on guard against others. The reason why a person has not betrayed is not that he is loyal, but that the money is not in place yet.

Huang Junjie has more than two hundred years of experience in parallel time and space. He has seen too many of these things.

In addition, he also has preliminary ideas about ways to weaken battery performance.

That is to use iron-lead compounds to excessively fill the tin framework in the process of filling the tin structure, thereby reducing battery performance.

Sure enough, he then overfilled the tin frame with iron-lead compounds, causing the battery capacity to decrease regularly.

After more than a week of exploration, he finally succeeded in suppressing the battery performance to an energy density of 0.19 kWh/kg.

Similarly, the charging speed also becomes 8 minutes/kg. If it is modified into a BYD Tang (200 kg battery), it means that it will take 1,600 minutes to fully charge the entire battery at once.

Of course, the batteries cannot weigh 200 kilograms each. They must be divided into small pieces and then assembled into battery packs. If they are made into 10 kilogram pieces and charged in parallel, it will only take about 80 minutes to fully charge them at once.

After completing all this, the time has come to the National Day of 2015.

Li Jianhua, who has been inspecting small battery companies abroad, also sorted out five small battery companies suitable for acquisition.

Huang Junjie checked the emails sent by Li Jianhua on the computer, and also searched online for the situation of these five battery companies.

After all, not all the information Li Jianhua sent was true. He checked the official websites of these five battery companies and some related information on other websites, and compared it with the email sent by Li Jianhua.

I found that there were no major differences, and it seemed that Li Jianhua could still be used.
