Exploiting Hollywood 1980

Chapter 808: spontaneous media propaganda

  Chapter 808 Media spontaneous propaganda

"Dancing Hot, directed by Ronald Lee next month, is a nostalgic musical from the Kennedy era. The movie hasn't come out yet, but Washington Post film critic Rita Kempley Her review has been given and it's the best movie of the year and the best gift for a girl, or a woman, in the last two decades."

It is not time to lift the ban on film reviews, but all the female film critics have been unable to hold back their desire to comment, and have made public the platform for Ronald's new film on entertainment programs on several TV stations.

This has nothing to do with Ronald's gift to the New York Film Critics Association, and it's not because these film critics complained that Jewish people deliberately disparaged "Dancing".

The real reason is very simple, these female film critics happened to be about the same age as the heroine Baby Hausman in 1963 when the film story happened. The film evoked their memories of the Kennedy era, of their own youth.

New York and Washington, D.C. are particularly enthusiastic, which have always been the concentration of progressives of the Donkey Party. The liberation of women, the power over their own bodies, and the Roe v. Wade case, are all the media in these two places started to report, Become a craze sweeping the country.

Those fond memories of my youth made several newspapers such as the Washington Post and the Wall Street Journal begin to recall the magical era of 1963 in their reports.

And New York is the concentration of working women. Many working women here grew up in the atmosphere of hard work from Kennedy, the beginning of the Apollo program, and the victory over the Union in the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Although later JFK, the idol that many professional women had a crush on when they were young, was assassinated, but they still have a lot of nostalgia for that gilded era in their hearts.

The reports of newspapers and TV stations successfully aroused their interest in watching movies. In particular, several female film critics have repeatedly hinted that the plot of this film is the realization of their childhood dreams.

TV station also conducted a street interview, what is the most anticipated movie this summer.

Unlike most male audiences who are looking forward to the new version of James Bond, most female audiences expressed their desire to see Patrick Schwytz hold Baby in his arms and dance the Mamba.

has returned to Ronald in Los Angeles and heard about this wave of media coverage.

This is a very good phenomenon. The film has not yet been released, and the media have spontaneously helped themselves to do free marketing.

"Why are most of the interviewed mature women? It looks like those who have jobs?" Ronald asked Michelle Cannold, who noticed something unusual.

Cannold also returned to Los Angeles with Ronald to prepare for Ronald's next TV interview, and the premiere in Los Angeles. Several people and their agent Nisita, Richard, were chatting about this unexpected media promotion.

Several men looked at each other, unable to think of an answer to Ronald's question.

"These people are all mature women, but who hasn't been young? Watching a movie is not necessarily a fantasy about things in the future, but it may also be a fantasy about things that didn't happen in the past."

Dolly Burnsteen, Cannold's subordinate, along with him from the original Weston Films, was hired by Ronald's Daydream to be the assistant manager of distribution and production. She looked at the men with fuss-free faces and said with a smile.

"Fantasies about things that didn't happen." Ronald repeated, "Well said, important discovery."

"You guys don't understand, when we were young, we also talked with our best friends and friends about who is the most handsome man in the class, and which man is the most fun to date. Men like Schwytz, handsome and dancing, are All women's dreams. Just like John F. Kennedy."

"But don't they have the same style?" Cannold said.

"Gentle politicians, handsome guys with first-class dancing, in the eyes of us women, are all men with high hormones."

"Hahaha..." The male manager, who rarely heard the voice of such a female audience, laughed.

"We reached out to John F. Kennedy Jr. to hear his thoughts on the recent media nostalgia for his father."

On TV, the show host found JFK Jr. outside a high-end office building in Los Angeles and interviewed him on the spot.

"If there is a father, there must be a son, and little JFK is also very handsome." Dolly Burnsteen held a coffee cup, stared at the little JFK on TV, and praised again.

"It's a pity it's a piece of shit," Ronald said in his heart.

After graduating from Brown University, JFK Jr. began to be unemployed. His family is one of the most aristocratic families in America, and his uncle is a senior senator from Massachusetts. After graduation, he developed a political career and found him a good job in the Urban Renovation and Real Estate Development Department of New York City Hall.

But after this person took office, many scandals broke out. Colleagues complained that he was late for work, never finished writing his official documents, and had to let the civilians who were robbed by him wipe his ass.

In the end, he had no choice but to let his boss, the head of the city hall, come out and say that JFK Jr., like any young man who graduated from college, was in a hurry at first and needed to learn on the job.

Afterwards, Kennedy Jr. began to shift his interest to acting again, and almost went to Broadway as an actor, but unfortunately he has a good face, his acting skills are very poor, he can't remember his lines, and he will soon lose the chance.

has swayed between several interests a few times, but he is obviously not a civil servant, so he can't take the path of accumulating grass-roots experience and praise, and then taking advantage of the trend to enter the political world. His uncle, through his contacts, got him to be the vice president of the 42nd Street Development Company, which has the most tourists in Manhattan. In short, it was all an arranged life.

"Ronald, how are you about the same age as him?" Deputy manager Dolly's eyes turned from Kennedy Jr. on TV to boss Ronald. Both are handsome, and they are both very successful young men, Amelie plus the diamond king of the society.

"We seem to be born in one year, but I am a commoner and can't compare to him."

Ronald smiled and denied that he was not this kind of straw bag relying on the shadow of his father. He calculated in his mind that they were the same age, and then asked strangely, "Why doesn't he work in New York and come to Los Angeles?"

"I heard that he gave up public and corporate management positions in New York to join the legal profession. Heard that he would join the top law firm Manat-Phelps-Kant in the industry, starting as an intern.

The law firm of Manat-Phelps-Kant, based in Los Angeles, presumably came for training. "The agent, Nisita, knows something about him.

The reason why he knew everything about Kennedy Jr. was because JFK Jr., like his client Ronald, had one thing in common.

Daryl Hannah, who played "The Mermaid", and New York socialite Kristina Haag, Jr. Kennedy's current date, have both been photographed with him at high-society parties, but He is not in a relationship with anyone.

Thinking of this, Nisita glanced at Ronald.

Ronald is watching an interview with Kenny Jr. on TV.

When asked about the social atmosphere when his father was the chief commander, he said that his memory of the White House was already vague, when he was just a child. But I am very happy that the people now still love their father and have not forgotten him.

The hostess is also a middle-aged person. It seems that she did not miss Kennedy when she was young. She looked at the little Kennedy with the love of an aunt looking at her nephew. She continued to ask:

"You have also tried to be an actor on Broadway before, do you want to make a movie? This 'Dancing Hot Body' is the story of your father's time in the White House, will you watch it?"

"Uh, I've stopped working on the theatrically for now, and I'm going to work at the law firm of Manat-Phelps-Kant. As for the movie, I think I'll watch it..."

Manat-Phelps-Kant Law Firm, and finally the name of the partner Kanter is very familiar.

Ronald recalled for a moment, isn't this the lawyer who represented MGM to negotiate the screenwriter's signature with him when he was "famous in the world"? The name is Mickey Canter, who looks a bit like Mickey Mouse, with a pair of attractive ears.

Ronald immediately called Lindsey Dole, a personal attorney in New York, to confirm.

"Yes, Mickey's business is doing very well and has been promoted to a title partner by the law firm. He is now one of the favorite lawyers of the Hollywood studios in Los Angeles, and he has maintained a fairly good relationship with the top of the donkey party. relationship, you know, Hollywood is generally left-leaning."

Lindsay Dole has also become a title partner in the small firm where she works. As the latest in the industry, she is also an achievement to be proud of.

"I don't know if he still remembers me. My daydream company, in fact, has some business in Los Angeles. You can also find him. I'm afraid our company is too small and he is not interested." Ronald said to Lindsay.

Attorney Lindsay is his personal lawyer. He has always dealt with his personal affairs. Lindsay also has a feeling that his main business is in Los Angeles. In addition, she is not willing to move to Los Angeles, so she does not have a lawyer who can always consult on the legal affairs of her daydreams.

"I have a good relationship with him, why don't I ask you for help? Their law firm in New York is not small. I don't think he will refuse. You are now the darling of Hollywood."

"Okay, you can help me ask. In short, I only trust you for my personal legal matters. You can also give me some objective and neutral opinions at that time."

The friendship between Ronald and Lindsay Dole started from a small time, and the level of trust between the two was not ordinary.

"You are my first client, and I hope to serve you all the time. I'll call him right away." Lindsay Dole also cherishes this business. She has helped Ronald solve many personal problems. The problem is that the two have gone beyond the general client-lawyer relationship and are more like friends.

After a while, Mitch Kanter, a big-name lawyer in Los Angeles, called.

"Mr. Kantor, you promised to represent us in the legal business of Daydream Productions?"

"Hi Ronald, of course I would." Kanter's voice on the phone was still the same, very sharp, "Just in time, before we officially sign, can I give you a piece of advice?"

"Sure, please." Ronald knew Kante wasn't a trickster.

"Originally, if you didn't let Lindsay call me, I also wanted to find you. The TV station and other media will soon interview you about the former commander JFK. You have to be careful to say that this is the little Kenny asked me to convey to you. of."

"Are you sure you shouldn't give him advice? Why does it sound like he's giving you advice, and then you're telling me?" Ronald was very surprised when he heard it. How could JFK Jr., an intern, start naming him Partner advised.

"Boy, I'm not kidding you. I'm talking about JFK Jr., not John Jr., but his Uncle Ted. Since his initial tenure as Senator from Massachusetts in 1962, he has been re-elected to the present day.

You don't need me to remind you of the power of a senior senator? "

"Of course not", Ronald thought of the Japanese Senator Inoue from Hawaii. People who have been in the senator position for a long time have deep roots. You don't know who is behind them.

Kanter didn't stop and continued to explain to Ronald, "The power of a senator is scary. Why do you think I want this young man to come to the law firm? I recruit 60-80 interns every year, all of them are Harvard, A fresh graduate of Yale, why does this 27-year-old fool come in as an intern every year? He doesn't necessarily pass the BAR bar exam."

"Well, that's right," Ronald had a deeper understanding of the energy of these politicians.

Besides, the Kennedy family is one of the most powerful people in America. Out of respect for JFK, Ronald asked Kanter what standard answer he had for his evaluation of JFK.

"Can I ask you a question first? What's your partisan leanings?" Kantor asked over the phone.

"I am not partisan, I have voted for candidates from both parties."

In addition to voting for the current leader of the Elephant Party in the 1984 general election, as requested by Aunt Karen. Ronald also voted for the Donkey Party candidate.

Staten Island, where his registered address is located, falls under the jurisdiction of the City of New York. In last year's mayoral election, his vote went to the Donkey Party's re-elected Mayor Ed Cochin.

Aunt Karen is very fond of him, especially because he wants to prevent the spread of HIV, he authorized NYPD to close down his family's leg warmer store in Manhattan, the kind of bathing place between men. The law and order near the store has been improved a lot.

"Well, that's good. That's easy, you just have to say the standard answer. Also, I remind you not to reveal your party affiliation when answering."

"Although I haven't paid you the lawyer's fee yet, can I remind you what the standard answer is?"

"Americans miss JFK, the Apollo moon landing program, and the Union Secretary General's performance in the Cuban Missile Crisis..."

  …

"Commander JFK? You know, I'm about the same age as his son. I respect him a lot, it was America's best era, the same as it is now. The Apollo moon landing program, like the space shuttle now, He and the current commander are the best commanders in my opinion."

According to the teaching of the new lawyer Mitch Kanter, Ronald gave the standard answer in an interview with the TV station.

"You look as handsome as JFK Jr."

Diane, who came to see Ronald, was in the bedroom, hugging Ronald and watching the footage of him being interviewed on CBS TV.

"Really? I can't compare to him, he's the prince of America."

"Hee hee, many people liked him when they were young, but I don't like New Yorkers like him, I prefer..."

"Just now was the interview with Ronald Lee, the director of Spicy Dancing. The movie was hugely anticipated by the audience, and Ronald said the movie will be released in August. If you can't wait, you can also go to the same company. Produced 'Love is not for sale'."

Ronald's attention was drawn to the past by a TV show…

"Love Is Not For Sale" was officially released last weekend, and it received $4.7 million at the box office in the first weekend, ranking behind the champion "Robocop" and the third "Jaws 4".

No one would have thought that the second place was the cartoon "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", a black-and-white cartoon from 1937, which Disney re-released in order to occupy the schedule.

This movie, shot by Walt Disney himself, took the second place unexpectedly, earning more than 7 million. The critics' glasses were shattered.

In the back is Stanley Kubrick's "Full Metal Bullet", which earned $4.7 million from 900 theaters. In fact, the single-house box office of this film is higher than that of all box office charts after "Robocop". Movies are higher.

"Love is not for sale" despite all the negative reviews of the film critics, and still got the same result as "Full Metal Bullet". Of course, this was achieved by 300 more cinemas than Kubrick.

Kubrick's black American military is too black, and the soldiers inside are portrayed as either lunatics or deep well ice. The film has also been unable to get up, only some anti-war film critics and stars, and then swear to say good things about him.

The popularity of the movie "Love Is Not For Sale" has also boosted the sales of the Beatles' records, making Ronald, who spent a lot of money on the radio charts, but the sales of the "Hot Body Dance" soundtrack were bad. .

The reputation of this movie is very good. Although the critics have a bad review, the audience has their own selection criteria. In the second week, the TV station couldn't hold back and interviewed the main creators.

The male protagonist, Patrick Dempsey, used the salary he got to buy a sports car. He happily drove up and down the streets of New York, and did not forget to show his beloved sports car in interviews.

"Patrick, this is your first film. Has it changed your life since it was released? What new challenges have you encountered?"

Like the character Ronald in the movie, Dempsey has his hair combed high and fixed with hairspray so it doesn't mess up when driving the convertible.

"The biggest change, of course, is that a lot of girls are saying hello to me now. Thanks to my sports car. The biggest challenge, um, is that I don't know how to guess what's on the girl's mind."

"Hahaha... He looks like that nerd." Diane was in Ronald's arms, looking at Patrick Dempsey with a silly face.

"This is very rare. The male protagonist changes from ordinary to handsome, and finally has a lover's loyal family with the female protagonist of higher social status. This kind of transformation (Make Out) is usually only the female protagonist. . So the actors you are looking for are more authentic."

Ronald explained that Dempsey is actually quite handsome, but the nerdy temperament in him always says some silly things, and has something to think about with the character.

And the heroine Amanda Peterson, like the heroine Cindy, is a beauty queen, a cheerleader, and a social queen in high school.

"Although this movie is very popular, there are still some tragic elements in the story. Ronald has to pay Cindy to teach her how to become popular in school." Everything on the TV station, the picture was given to the host People interview footage of Amanda Peterson.

"Indeed, our movie had such a plot at the beginning, but the later development made Ronald understand that emotional things cannot be bought with money. If Cindy wasn't for money at the beginning, he might have Didn't get the chance to meet such a nice boy as Ronald. It's just an opportunity for their love story."

Amanda Peterson handled it well and talked about it. She flipped her blond hair. This question was actually the reason why film critic Roger Ebert gave the film a bad review. Her counterattack was very clever.

did not deny this plot, but said that this was the beginning of the story. Otherwise, Cindy at the top of the social network would hardly have the opportunity to meet Ronald, who was actually a good boy, but because he was a nerd and was at the bottom of the society.

"Finally, it was also because of this incident that Cindy met Ronald, such a good boy, and finally found out that this is exactly the person she wanted." Amanda Peterson flipped her blonde hair again, calmly It seems not 16 years old, but 26 years old.

Ronald felt that she had the potential to be a star, was not stage fright when faced with tough questions, and was able to link the answers to movie marketing.

"There is also a popular question. Socializing in high school is very extreme now. Are you good at socializing, a nerd, and a beauty queen..." The host found another controversial point in the movie.

In fact, this kind of high school contempt chain has existed for a long time, but there are not many movies that reflect this bad tendency.

"I see what you mean, being a beauty queen in high school isn't necessarily a good thing. The competition you face in high school is limited, and being a nerd prepares you to compete on a higher level." Amanda Peterson has learned to rush to answer.

"Oh, she's only 16 years old, and the interview is so smooth," Diane commented.

"When she was four or five years old, she acted in the movie 'Annie', but she was not the protagonist", Ronald explained, this is a child star who has been rolling around in Hollywood since childhood.

felt Diane in his arms tense, Ronald realized that he had said something wrong, and quickly corrected, "You are also a child star. When you were 16 years old, you seemed to be more calm than her."

"No, 16 years old, well, I was busy filming 'Magic Stains' at the time, and I remember going to audition for 'The Outer Boy', I was so nervous, they asked me if I had a crush, and I was both Stuttered nervously."

"Who did you have a crush on at that time? Was it a high school classmate?" Ronald actually wanted to talk about Diane's smart car crash and a distress signal when he was kidnapped by his mother, but Diane didn't mention this past, he Not to mention.

"Well...I won't tell you." Diane rolled over and kissed Ronald fiercely.

"It was an exciting experience, and I'm so glad the audience enjoyed the movie. I thank Daydream for their investment in us, and their distribution is very good.

Yes, Daydream is a new company, but their second film, the much-discussed new one from Ronald Lee, I wish him success. "

"Huh?" Ronald struggled to separate from Diane and looked at the TV.

This is an interview with Rush, the director of "Love is not for sale". Saying this is like putting a lot of pressure on himself.

   Ronald was a little uncomfortable.

  …

"Can your new movie 'Dancing Yourself' be a hit like this 'Love Is Not For Sale'?" Diane looked at Ronald affectionately, raised her head and continued to ask for a kiss.

"The movie, it's hard to say that it will be a hit, I just do everything I need to do, and leave the rest to the audience to decide... um, um..."

The sound of the TV seemed to have become smaller, as if it was separated by a thin film, and Ronald's whole body and mind were immersed in Diane's warm kiss.

"Hold me tight…"

"Um…"

  …

   "How ready are we?"

The next day, Ronald, who was refreshed, came to the office of Daydream Pictures, and continued to stare at the upcoming "Dancing Hot".

"The sales of the album are still not good. I have notified the record company to suspend the next production. It seems that our first album release will probably reach the top. Fortunately, our cost is not high, and there are only two songs in the entire album that need to be re-recorded. , the cost is actually no more than $200,000." Jimmy Renner said the bad news first.

"Maybe the movie is out and we can sell more, but let's do it for now."

"The ban on film critics will be lifted on time, and they will start appearing in the film review columns of various newspapers." Dolly Burnsteen reported on the film critics.

"We're on a roll, just waiting for Patrick Schwytz and Jennifer Gray to come back from vacation. Cynthia Rhodes is already in LA and ready for a TV interview."

Michelle Cannold spoke on the other side of the propaganda matter.

   "Barbie Wygant agreed?" Ronald sighed.

"Yes, Barbie will come to Los Angeles from Dallas next week. After she watched the preview, she liked the movie very much. She took the initiative to call us and said she wanted to give us an opportunity for an exclusive interview."

"That's good, that's good." Ronald had booked her interview, but was spoiled by the delay, Barbie Wygant's film-critic TV show, so influential in the southern states, could make her say A couple of good words can bring more audiences in the south.

"David Letterman has also adjusted the guest arrangement to give the heroine a chance to appear on the show." Dolly Burnsteen continued to talk about TV promotion arrangements.

"Letterman is my friend and he won't let me down."

Ronald's strongest relationship in television is Letterman, and this time he gave the movie a chance to promote it. In his late-night shows, he often asks female stars to wear **** clothes and write innocuous edge-off jokes. It's also a requirement for late-night talk shows.

However, many movie audiences also watch his shows, which is a very important publicity opportunity.

"But he said he had a condition that he wanted you to go with him." Cannold added beside him.

"Okay, after I go to New York, I will confront him with Taiben."

  …

Just when Ronald was about to start an all-round attack and start his national roadshow, the main creators who participated in the roadshow had another accident.

"Jennifer can't be contacted right now. I found her agent, and he couldn't find her on vacation with her boyfriend in Northern Ireland. I also found Jennifer's father, Joel, who doesn't know where his daughter went."

is talking about Emilie Adorino, Ronald's assistant director during the filming of "Dancing Hot." When he was shooting, he gave Ronald a good impression and was familiar with the main creator. Ronald wanted to wait for the success of the two new films, give him some opportunities, focus on training, and let Emily Adorino also directed the tube himself.

This time he started the marketing journey together as Ronald's assistant.

"What's the matter? It's going to start in a few days. You see Patrick Schwytz is back from the country ranch. Her Jewish boyfriend, won't she disappear and marry her?"

Jennifer Gray did not succeed in a fake scene with Patrick Schwytz who already had a wife after "Dancing Hot", so Lightspeed found a Jewish boyfriend, the horse who had made several blockbuster movies before. Hugh Brodick.

His previous "Spring is not a day for reading" and "War Games" were all blockbusters, and his late father, Brodick, was well-connected in the industry. The future is bright in Hollywood.

"found it", Ronald's manager, Richard, hurried over and found Jennifer Gray.

"Where is she? It can't be Monaco, right?" Ronald knows where there are many casinos, and it's normal for boyfriends and girlfriends to go there to play and forget the time.

"No, she and Brodick are being held by the Irish gendarmerie."

   "Huh? What happened to her?"

"I found the agent of Matthew Brodick, who is being investigated by the Gendarmerie in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland for allegedly driving dangerously under the influence of alcohol in a car accident. Now at the Red Beret Gendarmerie Designated hospital for treatment. Jennifer Gray was there as a key witness."

Northern Ireland is similar to some mainland countries. The military police not only manage the morals of the army, but also assume the duties of the police in some rural areas. Northern Ireland has the diehard elements of the Republican Army who are constantly making trouble. Their military police red berets are very capable. .

"Is Jennifer all right?" Ronald doesn't care about the safety of Brodick's kid, and now the movie promotion needs his heroine Gray.

"Severe injuries, concussions, amnesia, neck injuries that are often whiplash-like in car accidents, and may be paralyzed." Richard said a lot of terrible symptoms.

"No way." Ronald felt a chill in his heart, but don't become Jennifer Gray's posthumous work.

"Matthew Broddick is even worse. He has broken legs, broken ribs, collapsed lungs, and concussion. I'm afraid it will be difficult."

"It's unfortunate, how much did this kid drink?" Ronald not only smiled bitterly, Brodick was several years younger than Gray, and he was a female junior. In order for the young lady to impress her, she might have to be brave.

"Worse than him was the mother and daughter in another car. They crossed the road at the green light and were hit for no reason. Both died on the spot."

"Shxt!" Ronald knew that he was in trouble when he heard that there was a murder.

"What is Brodick being charged with?"

"Dangerous driving causing death, British law, if convicted, he could be jailed for five years."

   "Where's Jennifer?"

"Jennifer is okay, but when she was just found by the military police, she once said that she was arguing with Matthew in the car."

"Shxt!" Ronald was furious, what the **** does this have to do with his actor? It must be that **** Matthew Brodick drinking.

"Hello, Mr. Kanter?" Ronald had no choice but to call Mitch Kanter, the barrister who had just signed with Daydream.

"Ronald, I heard about your heroine. What do you want me to do?"

Kant knew long ago what Ronald was calling.

"I just want Jennifer to be okay and clear from this unfortunate incident. I don't want my new movie heroine to be caught in this kind of murder case, which is not a good thing."

"So, Jennifer Gray was just a victim and suffered collateral damage. She didn't know about it before the accident, nor did it have anything to do with Brodick's reckless driving, and she was also a victim."

"That's not bad. Besides, do we now consider the protection of the privacy agreement of the client's lawyer?"

"Of course, if you sign an agency agreement with me on behalf of Miss Grey."

"Okay, please come here. I will ask her father Joel to sign an agency agreement with you, and I will be responsible for part of the cost."

Mitch Kanter went to Daydream Pictures, communicated with the worried Joel Gray on the phone, and signed an agency agreement with Ronald, who was authorized by Joel.

"Okay, you can say the bad news you want to say." Mitch Kanter looked at Ronald, "Now what we say is within the scope of the attorney-client agreement, and your secrets are safe with me."

Kant thought Ronald and Gray had an affair and didn't want others to know about their relationship. In this way, pulling Jennifer Gray out alone and preventing her from sinking with her boyfriend Brodick can be regarded as the cultivation of a good lover.

"Jennifer once woke up and told the Northern Ireland gendarmerie that she was in a fight with Matthew Brodick before the incident. I don't want my new heroine to be involved in any criminal case."

"God", Mitch Kanter immediately took the phone and called his secretary, "I'm going to Northern Ireland, book me the fastest ticket to Belfast."

Then Attorney Kantor turned to Ronald and said, "You don't know anything until I have news. Say that to any reporter. You know as much as the public and expect Gray to be safe. Understand?"

"Understood", Ronald was satisfied with Mitch Kanter's action.

"Also, you will pay for this time."

"Of course, just contact Richard if you need anything."
