Chapter 23: The Genius That All Mankind Fears!

“This is an order personally given by the United States general, General Newt. The initial rescue plan is for the alliance to build a small rescue ship to save Mr. Shawn.”

James’ image disappeared from the public screen.

For three seconds, the entire public chat room was silent. Suddenly, the chat exploded.

“F*ck, f*ck…”

“F*ck, f*ck…”

“F*ck…”

“Is this true? Is the United States really going to return to Earth to rescue one person? Isn’t that crazy?”

“Wow, is the United States so concerned with human rights? I want to become an American citizen.”

“Don’t praise the United States. Wasn’t there just an American fool who was smearing people on Twitter?”

“Yeah, this is like shooting yourself in the foot”

Lowell grits his teeth. He hadn’t expected Shawn to have such high popularity.

This had actually made the United States government join forces with the Allies to rescue him and their intention had been announced publicly.

If the leader was announcing it, he definitely wouldn’t go back on his words. Otherwise, it would be a shame for the country.

He couldn’t believe what he was hearing.

Huaxia woman: “Wow, I might really be able to give Ball Master a monkey.”

China woman no.2: “Is there really someone who wants to save Ball Master? I want to give Ball Master a monkey too.”

People spoke on the internet without fear.

Anyone could freely express their true thoughts.

Indian man “If only I had stayed on Earth.”

“F*ck off, if you had stayed on Earth, I reckon your country wouldn’t have cared in the slightest.”

Rainbow nation: “The United States is indeed a great power. It really deserves its reputation.”

China: “Yes, we support the rescue of Mr. Shawn. If there is anything China can do to help, we are willing to volunteer, even if it means building a rescue ship.”

In the meeting room of their command ship, Japan had gathered their politicians.

They were all watching the live broadcast.

The old man at the head said, “Everyone, please express your views.”

Everyone was silent.

At this moment, the door of the meeting room opened. A young man in a white coat walked to the side of the old man and said, “Prime Minister, this is the information you requested.”

The old man’s gaze swept over the information. His pupils constricted and he calmly placed the information on the table.

After calming himself, he said, “Do you know what Mr. Shawn drew?”

Although everyone in the meeting room was a high-ranking official of Japan, they were not privy to such information.

“Are you not saying anything because you are not confident?”

“Do you know why the United States is sparing no effort in rescuing Mr. Shawn?”

“There’s only one person left on Earth. Why would they be willing to pay such a huge price? And it’s the United States, which doesn’t have a long history of culture and tradition. Why would they do such a thing?”

Japan was a country made up of samurai warriors.

They had always been the underlings of the United States.

“Don’t you want to see a new world order after we reach Kepler 452B?”

“Do you want to be trampled under the feet of the United States?

“Now that we have a new home, don’t you want a new standing?”

“Prime Minister Saburo, can an American really change our country’s international status?”

A minister said in a low voice.

Prime Minister Saburo glanced at the minister and did not answer directly. Instead, he picked up the documents in front of him and said, “Don’t you want to know what kind of blueprint Mr. Shawn drew? And how he came about the knowledge to draw such a thing?”

Everyone was busy discussing.

“How can he study?”

“Even if it’s really a rocket propeller, it’s nothing more than a fancy talent. There aren’t any such people in any country. Can they really affect the decisions made at a national level? Can they affect the reputation of a country?”

“Prime Minister, I feel that the United States is doing this because they want to emphasize their human rights stand. This will bring endless benefits to their country.”

“Even if Shawn isn’t a genius, doing this will do more good than harm.”

Prime Minister Saburo nodded and said, “I thought this was the case as well.”

He threw the information in the middle of the long table and said, “But I don’t think so now. Take a look at the information here.”

The minister named Miyamoto picked up the information and slowly read through it.

Although the information was mostly in professional terms, that didn’t stop him from comprehending it.

“Check it out, a planetary engine. As long as there are enough raw materials…”

“This…”

“This… How could this be?”

Miyamoto’s eyes widened as the information in his hand fell to the ground.

He hurriedly picked it up and said like a lunatic, “How is this possible?”

“Yeah, I don’t believe it either but this was just verified by our country’s scientific research team. To some other countries, this isn’t a secret.”

Those who had not read the information quickly gathered over and read the document.

After reading it, everyone’s eyes widened in disbelief.

“Oh my god, there’s actually such a genius in this world?

“He was left back on Earth. This is too crazy.”

“Prime Minister, from the perspective of the entire human race, this Shawn is indeed a genius that had surpassed all humankind.”

Miyamoto said excitedly.

Prime Minister Saburo nodded and said, “Also, we have more detailed information than the United States.”

Everyone looked at Saburo.

“This information is Mr. Shawn’s resume. His resume clearly states that Mr. Shawn disappeared for ten years and suddenly reappeared in the United States and became a stock market expert.”

“What does this mean?”

Everyone was confused.

“Do you know where Mr. Shawn was during the ten years he was missing?”

“What experiences did he have?”

Everyone widened their eyes.

Prime Minister Saburo said, “Mr. Shawn is not only an American. China has also been kind to him…”

“During the ten years he was missing, perhaps he had lost his memory. He once lived in China, wandering the country. He lived in a remote mountain village for over ten years…”

“Perhaps his God-like abilities had been trained in China during those ten years.”

“China…”

Everyone’s expression changed.

That was a country that has long been a thorn in Japan’s side.

China and Japan had a long-standing feud with each other. This had thrown Japan’s future into turmoil.

“That’s why you said we should help ourselves.”

“We’re doing this so that we will no longer be America’s underling.”

“We’re doing this for our people. Shouldn’t we do something about this?”

Everyone was so shocked that they were speechless.

Miyamoto’s face was ferocious as he said, “We’re also participating in the rescue plan. At this critical moment, if there’s a chance…”

He dragged his fingers across his throat.

Prime Minister Saburo did not speak for a long time. His fingers continuously tapped on the table.

“We have to plan this carefully. We cannot afford to make any mistakes. If word about this gets out, our nation will fall into despair,” Prime Minister Saburo said. “This meeting is over.”

In the vastness of space, in the command ship at the forefront of the space fleet.

The atmosphere in the meeting room was a little strange.

Too many things had happened in the past few days, some of them beyond the control of the United States.

Newt had an ugly expression on his face.

Their intelligence unit had discovered that many countries had done their own calculations of Shawn’s blueprint.

In other words, many countries now knew about Shawn’s talent.

“The United States is the most powerful country in the world and Mr. Shawn is a citizen of our country. The rescue plan might have some obstacles now.”

“Mr. Shawn’s talent is enough to give many countries a good reason.”

Everyone understood General Newt’s words.

After all, if Shawn had been an ordinary person, the other countries wouldn’t care about him.

The talent that Shawn displayed was enough to make any country think.

The problem they were facing now wasn’t as simple as rescuing Shawn.

The first task was to ensure Shawn’s safety.

Even the Allied countries could not believe that the other countries would behave like a regular family.

If you had a good life, everyone would envy you. It wasn’t possible to become true friends.

If you were not living well and I was, maybe I would drive a Mercedes-Benz around your house but I wouldn’t lift a finger to help you.

“What do you think of the situation now, gentlemen? I’d like to hear your suggestions,” Newt said with a frown
